We are in the stage where there isn't any time after they go to bed. Make note for future you to have a plan for that before you are in the middle of it. I can't make a suggestion as we're trying to figure it out in the middle of it. We've lost "us" time and can feel the strain. I'm SURE you'll have lots of advice on the topic to pick and choose your way from if you've got it on your radar. Good luck - he's ADORABLE!
That feeling you talk about when he goes down at night… never changes. Mine is now 18 and my soul still takes a sigh when he goes to bed. It’s like a safety comfort feeling. 😊

I really loved when Louis said, "this isnt the right time to be hustling and expanding our buisness." You're absolutely right! So many parents wish they had the opportunity to spend all their time focused on their children but cant because of work responsibilities. You're so fortunate and its nice to see that you're aware of it and are choosing to slow down and savor it ❤

The phrase the days are long and the years are short are soo true about being a parent. I remember looking at teenage lads when my son was small and finding it hard to imagine having a teenage son, and now I have a young man of 21 who has flown the nest. My top tip would be find a way to stay connected. My son and I used to watch Friday Night Dinner together. There are so many challenges with teenagers you can get stuck in a negative rut and that can be really unhelpful. Like all of the ages and stages, it too does pass!

i used to know someone that would puree fruit and veggies for their babies it's all natural no chemicals, organic and considered a solid to them their tummies have an easier time to digest it you can also juice veggies and fruits as an option for when he's drinking out of a sippy cup he is adorable by the way just looking at his eyes he's just checking everything out and being so observant which is awesome he already has an adventurous side to him.
This video was such a vibe, especially the sit down chats at the end! Raya, you seem so relaxed and at one, it's so nice to see 💖

Would love to see what (if) your morning and evening routine is like? As in what you do when you start your bedtime/morning routine, when Neo started sleeping through the night, etc... I'm just so interested cause we've got similar lifestyles and vibes xxx

your convo at 27:19 reminded me of when my parents were talking about how when me and my siblings would be in bed around 7 or 8, it again wasn't necessarily a relief, but it was their way to reconnect and reflect on the day and get takeout or cook dinner together which was really special to them. And then they tried to keep that bedtime as early as possible but at some point we were not able to sleep as early as 8 and now I know why they tried to do that for so long I was always so confused😂

Hi loved this beautiful hobbit house 😍😍😍. Have you ever visited Pembrokeshire. It so beautiful. So many beaches and hideaways to explore. The coastal path Wales are mesmerising . Wild horses and beautiful places to stay. There is a place called Lamas. Look it up😍. It’s a echo place.
But the beaches and coves and water sports are great. Go out of season as it gets busy in the school holidays but the amount of long beach walks and tiny little hideaway coves are amazing. So many places to see. It’s my forever home dream.
Hope you consider staying there and taking in how special it is. Harry Potter was filmed on one of the beaches and there is a shrine for dobby :).

Why not build something like this in Costa Rica? It would be nicer than the bus to live in until your main house is ready, and then it could be a guest house or a playhouse for your kids. You might find out how the indigenous people there build their houses and then make something more hobbit-y but along those lines. In the UK, I know the National Trust rents out homes that they aquire incidentally to castles and stately homes. There are lighthouses, windmills, cottages and so on.
I think that's what they would want the problem is wood structures rot very quickly in wet environments like Costa Rica
@@julierfstorie Probably the local people know which types of wood work in the tropical climate and since there isn't a really cold season, maybe they put openings in the walls.

Yea it’s crazy cause I think it goes both ways. I have a 5 and 7 year old now and seeing you guys with just a six month old really makes me laugh in a good relatable way. I remember thinking the same exact things when I first just had one baby. And I literally almost feel the same way when I see a baby that you do when you see a 7 year old. Just in the opposite direction haha.

11:11 omg! Those chunky legs and those fun noises! Makes me want a baby again!!! Luckily, I have plenty of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews to keep me busy and satisfied! I get my baby fix so often. I’m Great Aunt Katie, aka Great Katie aka Aunt Kitty, and I babysit every chance I can! So blessed to have so many littles in our life! It’s so nice to give my nieces and nephew a break and watch their kiddos for them. ❤

when I had my first nvr was quite my grandma said live like you did before n I'm a person who likes noise like radio on or TV. so after I had him I still had noise n vacuumed ect I could even vacuum under his crib n he'd sleep through it. I nvr coddled him like shhh baby's sleeping ect we luve in city n it was kinda noise as a month before he was born they were tearing up road n putting in new so he had to deal from birth lol to this day he can sleep through anything all 8 of my kids are like thar I'm glad my grandma taught me that before i had kids n she also said nvr give them options on meals you cook put food on table n they eat . your not making everyone a different meal. when kids older I made a weekly menu of things we'd have maybe not order on menu but things we were going to eat. we nvr ate out n I cooked 3x aday I when in school I. ade breakfast lunch n dinner still they could have school lunch max 2x a week but almost nvr choose school lunch. I don't blame them lol.here in us lungs suck nit like when I was in school n they really cook real food. but make noise n live normally as you would without a child noise wise.

do u not light a Fite in the bigger box?? I use Lil fire box in our cabin for heating water n light cooking n big box for heating n cooking full meals. how beautiful n fun that place looks how long are you guys staying ? a week??
