I’ve watched you guys for YEARS and these last few vlogs have been some of the most ‘relaxed’ you’ve seemed in ages. You are not selling anything, seeing the good (laughing deliriously through tiredness), the bad (poosplosions) and the love! The story was just the best! 5 years ago feels like yesterday!
They were selling the Sony camera, nevertheless i agree , nice relax videos!!! Doing videos at the City and conditions the have… that nice, prefer that..than the glamour sophisticaded places videos… :) ❤
Saw some Habit Tea in the beginning, love that, many prayers into the universe toward Canada right now! Love the pile of travel stuff! It only takes one time of taking too much on a flight and then you rethink the 'just in case' mindset as you could bring your whole house - we tried one flight across the US when my daughter was about 6 months old! Loving Vlogmas!
Love the Christmas vlogs!!! Love that you supported Eamon and Becs Habit! Watch flying the nest and they show you what they pack in one video for baby when they travel.
Advice for travel . Make a list of everything you have packed. When you return home, make a list of everything you did NOT use. MANY things can be substituted with something else. Something you already have OR something you can borrow from family. It's one thing to use space in your own car, but entirely different when using public transportation. Cut your "gotta haves" by half. You can always adjust after a few trips......................LOVE these vlogs!
I’m enjoying your Vlogmas so much. I can’t help smiling, you guys seem so genuine, happy and relaxed, taking things in your stride. I also became a Mum this year with a 7 month old and I don’t know how people pack with more than one child! Our car is always so full, there is so much they need!
I love you guys you’re so real and not afraid to laugh at yourself. I also love love how you enjoy what you call charity shops. I manage one in Mississippi.
Thanks for that chatty episode.... loving your daily vlog.... I live down in Greece ... retired teacher.... with 5 grandchildren... i know how busy and tiring a little one is but so rewarding x
I always overpack if we are doing a road trip because you have no limits on how much you can bring so we stuff the car. Flying is harder but honestly in some ways easier because you won’t want to lug hundreds of pounds of stuff through an airport so you have to consolidate. It becomes obvious quickly that items that you think you can’t live without are not actually essential. We always bring a pack and play (I just can’t get past the thought of germs with one supplied by a hotel), car seat, and then all of the normal toiletries/clothing, a few books and toys, and plate/bib/fork/cup. I highly recommend packing cubes for baby stuff. It helps contain everything and you can organize the cubes by category so you know where everything is and quickly grab what you need. We live in a dry climate so we’ve have never done a bath every day and it’s never been a problem…hotel tubs work just fine if one of you can prop him up while the other scrubs.
The story is hilarious! I’m sure I didn’t notice anything when I first watched it but I’m going to watch it again. I’m so happy you both decided to do Vlogmas. We are getting to see how this new stage in your lives is and getting to know Neo a bit more. You both seem to have taken to parenthood very well and from what I can see you’re doing a fantastic job even if you overpack a little!😂 Hugs, Doc❤
His little expression when you asked him why he waits -- SO FUNNY!!!!! I swear, ALL babies wait until the car ride to make the messiest nappies. WHY?!!! Also, the mass of large items for such tiny little ones -- UGH! If you were trying to be relatable . . . BINGO!! So nice you got to spend time with the grandparents and your sisters and uncles. Family is so important, and it's so nice to be so near Louis'. Wish I had some great travel tips for you, but I'm sure you'll get some from some far more season travelers than I. Enjoy this season and seeing little Neo experience it for the first time. It's just an added layer of Christmas magic! Also, SO glad they released you without charges. What a crazy misadventure!
At 69 and my baby being 49 now I haven't thought about her birth and first years for so long...this is such a delightful reminder. And yes, remember everything taking sooo long with a baby...so crazy!😊
Oh, my gosh, that would have been terrifying! The whole "where drone usage is permitted" subject is confusing to me and where also permits are.required to fly one. Have fun in London! (maybe avoid pol. station rooftops, haha)
Learning to edit what you pack with kids is definitely a learning curve (I had a chuckle when I saw that you packed Neo’s tunnel 😊). We found that when you are in a new place and traveling you don’t need as many toys and books etc as the new environment keeps them occupied (though familiar things are comforting for them too in strange places). Often you can rent travel cribs and things at your destination which helps!
Always great creative content. We never know what we're going to get. Btw theres a book - How to travel with kids without losing your mind. Includes packing like Mary Poppins 🎁🎉
You should get a water meter! They are inexpensive and it’s better for the plants to only be watered to their needs instead of on a specific schedule. That should help you adapt easier to when seasons and their needs change.
Enjoying your vlogs. I'm so inspired by you going all in with such a young family. Even if you have to end early I wouldn't think less of you but with that said, rooting for you to blow your own minds at your capabilities in such a demanding season of life. I went back and watched the vlog from the story. So impressed by how you pulled it off. I think I could only tell something was off because I already knew. If I hadn't known I would be none the wiser. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
Loving watching your daily Vlogs but when I saw the title this morning I was like OMG but wow now that is a story I will definitely go and watch it! I’m looking forward to tomorrows Vlog and thank you both this must be really hard to do with a baby! ❤
Until I got to the middle of the vlog, I thought you had been arrested for vlogging a storytime session in your local library or something!! Makes more sense now!
Funny story thanks for sharing. Most people that do Vlog miss make five or 10 minute videos you guys are awesome with these almost half hour videos I’m really enjoying them
I love you guys. You both are so happy being parents to your adorable baby boy. Your daily vlogs are great, although I don’t know how you are doing them, I am feeling tired just watching them. I also loved the Brussels story.
I feel that way about my plants too😊. My oldest plant is older than Raya I think-a Yucca from my husband’s parents yard that we’ve kept as a house plant is from 1992. Also, you guys compartmentalize very well-nothing in the Brussels vlog gave it away, however, now knowing what happened, there seemed to be extra meaning to both your comments regarding now being able to really get into the Christmas spirit😉
I have a plant that is a graft from my mom's plant so the original is over thirty years old! I try very hard to keep it alive. She got hers when she moved out for the first time and she did the same with me :)
I was so concerned when I saw the title that it happened more recently! I'm glad it was just a fun memory to share. I am really loving Vlogmas with you guys and know how hard it is to edit so much so that is amazing, especially with a baby! I hope you guys keep loving it and that Raya feels better soon! I also love the advent calendars! :)
Thanks for posting the link for the Belgium video it was superb ❤️ all the fun you 2 shared. Really made me want to go to Brussels for Christmas. Been there in summer but so exciting at 🎄.
I’m loving your Vlogmas 💝 I feel like I’ve received a wonderful gift for this holiday. I sure didn’t see coming the story from that earlier Christmas ! Oh my gosh😅 🎄
Thank you so much for doing Vlogmas! My daughter (8yrs) and I are loving it 😊 By the way Raya the Christmas tree looked so festive in the beginning of the vlog!
Hi just something that worked for me. One travel back pack with diaper supplies. Change of clothes. 2 small toys and 2 books. You can use a book multiple ways. Make your interaction about numbers ( count pages or items). Make your interaction about vocabulary. Read book backwards. When they haven’t seen the book in a couple of days it’s new to them. You just need 3 or 4 changes of clothes. You can always wash in sink or do laundry. Really enjoying blog
loving your vlogs, you should have a book on the back burner to write of all your adventure stories. That one was great story of the drone in Brussels. You will have less 'things' for Neo as he gets older and you will become 'wiser' in what to take and adapt.
Re travel - you have way too much stuff! Get an inexpensive food mill and you can make anything you want into 'baby food'. Wash Neo in a sink. No need to complicate things. Bring some disposable changing matts and you can make any surface easy for diaper changes and clean ups. I said it before...duct tape. You can use it to babyproof just about anything. (Outlet covers, ways to keep cabinets closed, toilets seats down, corners buffered and wires out of the way.) Pretend you are camping and think like that...Hope this helps!
My daughter has lost her voice, after being sick, and we are heading to the UK in ten days. We are really hoping she will be better soon and that I do not get sick! Raya, in case you are tempted, do not whisper. I used to lose my voice every year - it goes with the job of teaching young children - and was told by a couple of doctors (over the years) whispering is harder on the vocal cords when they are already strained.
Hi Raya and Louis, lovely vlog guys. I hope you are feeling better Raya. Little Neo is adorable bless him. I don’t know how you carried on after getting arrested in Belgium and then having to video, great story. Well done with Vlogmas loving the daily vlogs guys. Love to you both and Neo xxx
Wow I am loving these vlogs! I've watched Louis for over a decade now 🤯 and have really missed the daily vlogs. I wanted to ask what life is like living in Brighton / Hove. I'm born and raised in London and am starting to want a change of scenery :)
What a wild story! Thanks for sharing. I recommend trying to find baby items that are multi-purpose. Also, if there's anything you didn't use this time.
12:48 the smaller the traveller, the more the luggage 😂 I 'm sure that you can get more compact changing mats... there's nothing wrong with it, but it takes up space
OMG, LMAO - only Louie could get into that kind of situation! “Oh, I’ll just stand on the roof of the police station and illegally fly the drone in front of the Chief’s window, what could possibly go wrong?” And he had no idea what he could have done wrong. 😵💫 That is a classic story! Loved it. 😂🤣😂🤣
What a crazy story. Good thing he was allowed to continue flying after all of that. You two did a wonderful job with the video despite the unplanned adventure!
I'm so proud of you guys. I love the storytime story. I mean, that could only be something that Louis would get busted for, LOL. I'm so glad everything was okay, and y'all totally pulled it all like nothing happened. PS - Louis, I absolutely LOVE the intro to these Vlogmas videos.
For traveling, you will figure out the essentials after a few trips. I say those will be different for every kid. For me it was white noise machine, teething stuff, swaddling stuff, obviously diaper stuff. They don't need toys they are out and about. Sleep, carry and eat stuff. That's the "essentials" blessings to you guys. Love your channel. When your home work on sleeping in different locations (I feel like you guys do this) so they will sleep anywhere. Also, just accept that it will not be the same. You will have more stuff, you just will. Babies need a lot of stuff, the older they get the less stuff they need. Mine are 15 and 13 and its just like traveling with adults. I would say by about 6 they were rolling their own bags (in the airport) and packing their own backpacks for the plane. Just let them do what they can at their age and by the time they are 6-8 they are rolling with the punches. I know 6 years feels like "oh my gosh" but the days are long and the years are short. Trust me!
I am absolutely loving this Vlogmas series! It's nice to see casual, everyday stuff in this format. As an intuitive and energy healer, I had a good laugh at the throat/voice advice...and also that Louis was like that's our kind of people we should be hanging out with. 🤣🧡
One of our family Christmas traditions is to do a birthday cake for baby Jesus and Christmas eve candle light service. We haven't done either in a while. I miss that , we did it when the kids were little.
😂 oi vay!! What a story! Glad it all worked out! Keep up the relaxed vibes and exhale the worry and fear. It doesn't help and robbs you of the moment ❤
Me and my husband purchase diapers, wipes and food when we get to the place we travel so we dont have to pack as much of that stuff. We bring our pack n play for him to sleep in on all of our trips and you can check that at the airport. As for everything else, Weve condensed to 1-2 bags for the 3 of us by rewearing/washing clothes when we get to our destination, choosing one pair of shoes if we can help it, picking only a few small toys, etc 😊
Omg guys - so glad Nate didn’t fly his drone in Brussels!! Lol great story 😂🙌🏼
Hahah we should have messaged to give you a heads up! 🙈😂

I had that carebear!
Poopsplosions! LOL! I've always called them, "Blow Outs." Have to add this one to my baby vocabulary.

Wow, what a crazy story in Brussels. You should consider sharing more of that behind the scenes stuff. So interesting!
So look forward to your daily visit... In hindsight the Brussels story is wild...so glad you are home safe this Christmas
You guys are the epitome of what parents should be. You’re so wonderful ❤
Ah, such a lovely genuine family … all the splendid blessing to you all..

I just absolutely adore your beautiful family…….Neo is precious and obviously incredibly smart. ❤❤❤

I think I would of stopped right there! No more videos for me!! At least in the end everything turned out for the better. God Bless you ❤U guys
Maybe try to buy more collapsible/convertible baby items for traveling. So many cool things out there. Loving the daily Christmas vlogs!
OMG it feels so nostalgic with a vlog every day!
Love seeing you guys laugh and enjoy each other

I just watched the Vlog from your arrest and wow you did an amazing job. You would never have known they were different days well done guys!
For travel advice you should reach out to Flying the Nest since they are traveling with their littles
I love these daily videos. And your Brussels arrest story: priceless 😂
Only Louis 😂😂😂 So glad everything worked out. Hope you feel better soon, Raya!! Sending light and love❤❤❤

“I just need to, like, eat pancakes and escape!” 😂😂😂❤ Legit gold, Raya 😅😂🥞
What a wild story! Thanks for sharing. I recommend trying to find baby items that are multi-purpose. Also, if there's anything you didn't use this time.
HILARIOUS drone story. Best line, "especially on top of a police station". HILARIOUS
You guys had me craving an advent chocolate calendar so I went on Amazon and bought. I’m enjoying vlogmas eating chocolate daily with you both.
Thanks for vlogging Xmas time. Appreciate your hard work.
Very fun series! Got me to subscribe!
Great story! I love that vlogs are back!❤

Love this series of vlogs you're doing! Super fun! Look forward to each day :)
Love the Vlogmas, especially the storytime.

They moved out like 2 vlogs ago
Louie's parents and sister are just too cute, love them! Funny story about being arrested...omg!
The cartoon intro is SUPER CUTE!!! Merry Christmas. ❤

Yes, about 5 years ago there were a lot terror attacks in Belgium, around Xmas time. So police was on high alert for "unusual activities"
Loved the story. your videos are so wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
Aw thanks for sharing your story!!! 😮
