    Since my beard has gotten longer I comb my beard up and apply my product to the skin from underneath as much as possible then distribute with a long tooth comb. It’s working for me. I will definitely try the drops to the skin. Thanks again for the great tips.

    I am so happy that you did this video and showed how you should be applying beard oil to your face. I have never been a guy to place beard oil in the palm of my hand and rub my hands together THEN attempt to apply the beard oil from my palms to my face. The palms have by then already absorbed a portion of the beard oil, so you don't have a lot of oil then to apply to the skin of your face. So Bravo George! I'm glad you presented that, and in addition, the use of the exfoliating brush to use in the shower - perfect! I watched your video and immediately went out and bought one. So Thank you for that also! Great video !

    I always put the oil on my hand and gently rubbed it in my beard and 'on the skin' and much as possible but always questioned whether it got on my actual skin so the simple idea of simply dropping it straight from the dropper nozzle is a good idea, I will try it soon as the beard usually looks nicely hydrated but my skin underneath (on the chin mostly) is extremely dry and flakey.

    Great videos Sir..!! As a fellow silver beardsman I stumbled up on your videos by accident and I’m glad I did. Killer instructional videos. I have had my beard for let’s say at least 5 years never really giving it much thought until lately weird huh.. I was kinda thinking about a change and thought maybe if I give it just a little care and attention it will be awesome.. thanks for the cool videos

    Question: Can you recommend a product for my hair. I am growing it out and combing it back with a part. I was using Brylcreem which is very good for my scalp as my scalp can dry out easily, but it does not hold quite as well as i would like.
    Thanks again.

  • @Joshruizart

    Hi Gray, I have a mustache question, I used sea buckthorn oil, olive oil, aloe, and I think rose hip oil, 1 drop each and mixed them and applied to my mustache for 20 minutes. After a few days of doing this my mustache started to burn and was missing hair in the areas it burned. A dermatologist assistant assumed its seb dermatitis without doing tests and say that I will have it for the rest of my life, now my mustache grows patchy, and if I eat and food gets in the mustache it will turn into a little rash in those areas. They think its a fungus there that wont let my protective skin barer grow there. In the hot weather there is a lot of sweat coming out of the mustache area. Any tips on how I can cure this? Thanks a ton

      Don't wash your beard too much. When you wash, make sure your soap is chemical free. Pine Tar soap is awesome. Treat your face with apple cider vinegar at night, a couple times per week. If it is overly dry, buy and wash your face with a zinc bar.

      This is probably way too late, but my two cents.
      Just look on yelp for "beard barber" if the guys there have beards that look good, go for it, they get it.
      You can also google "best beard barber reddit", sometimes people have given their opinions on them on there, real people and not fake reviews.
      Also if there are tons of pictures of them trimming beards that look good, then you probably are safe going there. My old barber hated beards and messed my beard up, finally found a good one a month ago and I love them.

    I'm noticing the skin behind my beard is red and irritated looking. It looks like a mild red rash. No pumps, no itching, pumps or tenderness. It just looks bad. It probably extends under my beard as well. I'm finding pretty much NO information on how to get rid of this redness.

    I'm having the worst dry skin ever on my moustache and jaw area of my beard it flakes constantly I've tried oils shampoos the lot I even had an anti fungal shampoo from the doctors that cleared it up for 2 months but is now back with vengeance I shower every day but only wet my beard and exfoliate now and again but I just can't win the only relief I've had was when I shaved it fully off and smothered my face in cream but I want to keep my beard 😩 please help

    • @kjg8942
      @kjg8942 7 лет назад +2

      Jason Ramsay you might not be properly cleaning the skin under your beard. I'd recommend coconut oil it's a great moisturiser and also fights germs and fungal etc.

    • @JAK3THETUB3
      @JAK3THETUB3 7 лет назад

      Zinc bar works well. You can by them on Amazon. Also, apple cider vinegar works wonders as well. You can apply it at night, when your skin does the most healing. Creams and such can make it even worse. The face on your skin is more sensitive than the rest of your body. When you wash your beard/face, use something that is chemical free. Pine Tar soap, I have found, is the best. Baby shampoo is great as well. Your beard only needs to be washed once per week. That's my two cents. A combo of all of these has worked for me.
