Just found and subbed your channel a few days ago. Your content is awesome, I am learning so much! I have been struggling and wanting to learn motion for so long and I really thought there was nothing good out there… I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it!
Very nice. Your tutorials are great and they help to keep me on top of my Final Cut / Motion game. One thing I would add to the Motion project is Build-in / Build-Out markers so that the user can change the the length of the effect without disturbing the IN and OUT animation timings.
When I started learning how to edit using FCP I withstood the urge to rush out and buy lots of titles and plugins, reading that learning Motion is the way to go for making your own plugins/titles/effects/generators etc. I love your tutorials but kind of feel like I'm a amateur brain surgeon following along with each new video you share. But so far so good - no Motion project 'deaths'! Thank you!

This is an excellent tutorial Dylan which i have emulated and works great. Only problem i find is you cant move it with the transform tool, but can with the properties in the inspector. unless theres a fix for this?
@@TheFinalCutBro yeah thats what i thought, but like the blur effect, so ill keep as is. No hardship to alter the x- y i guess from time to time. Thanks for replying i appreciate it. 😃 In case you haven't already done so, a great transistion tutorial would be the spin ones you use it your vids. thats super awesome! Thanks Again
Great idea my dude!! You might be able to get started on that idea by following this tutorial I made about "locked on" stabilization in Motion with the new object tracker. - ruclips.net/video/Y6mhr2pztos/видео.html
Great video. Thanks a lot. Probably the most helpful thing for me was the fact you can move settings around in the on screen panel in motion. Wanted that. Mind blown. Lol
I wanted to ask a question.. i have an old macbook air.. the fcpx latest version is laging and motion is not usable.. if i download older versions will that help? And which version is good? 2020? 2019? 2018?
Amazing tutorials man I love it! Have you tried to make a synthwave in motion? Im trying at the moment but your videos give me so much insight to keep my creative mind going!!!
I have not! But that seems like a great challenge! Something to maybe get you started. I would first find the "Grid" generator in Motion. Set that bad boy to 3D, and you can then flip it on a horizontal plane with a 3D camera flying over it. Then just drop in the "Neon" effect under the "Glow" filters and you should be well on your way for some epic synth wave stuff! -- Definitely need to work more on this idea, but hopefully I can drop a tutorial on that soon!
You’re crushing it Dylan!!!!!!
nice new avatar logo! looks great!!

I am your fan. Well explained and well done!
Excellent. I will use this. It would bring presentations to life! Many thanks Dylan.

If you delete the title background, you can move it with the inspector! But the issue is that you won’t be able to automatically blur the background.

Mr Bates! you think you can show us how to stabilize a hyper lapse in motion with the new tracker? Will the new tracker make it easier?
Great idea my dude!! You might be able to get started on that idea by following this tutorial I made about "locked on" stabilization in Motion with the new object tracker. - ruclips.net/video/Y6mhr2pztos/видео.html

@@TheFinalCutBro You got it! I’ve been intimidated by Motion for 5+ years, and with your videos, I’m making some cool stuff!
Perfect

Will do! Appreciate that my friend! 👊
Wow, incredible tutorial!
I wish you could have done it faster though!
JK, great job!
Once I stop breathing, I will be able to make these videos at maximum efficiency 😂
You look just like my kid from 10, he is just so fast with his PS5…just like you in Motion…
