Mahari Gorge March 2023

We went for a short hike today near the small village of Mahari a little outside Chania. It is not a designated trail we were just winging it. Lots of beauty and goats and we came across a little paradise in this small canyon. Took a dip in the cold water as it was such a warm sunny day. We wished we could have gone a bit farther but there were fences put up to keep the goats from going to far. After the hike we drove to the village of Armeni for some kalamari and fried vegetables and a wonderful taverna.
