Fodele, Crete, Greece 2024 Orange Festival!

Small charming village celebrates their orange harvest with a festival every year. A place you can easily miss as it is off the main highway in between Rythmeno and Iraklion. Pretty town with a river flowing through with many shade trees waiting for you. The famous painter El Greco has the house he lived in and a museum there also. The museum was closed the day we were there as they were doing construction on the entrance.
