- Overseeding in fall this year has been a major confidence booster. I completely re did my whole front and back yard this spring and I was so tired of having dirt through out the house as well as bare spots in my yard that made people question my ability to grow grass. This fall has been perfect for repairing those bare aeras as well as adding some seed into the existing lawn.
I used 365ss Kentucky bluegrass for my back 6,000sq'
I used Midnight Kentucky bluegrass for my front 2,000sq'

I also used a triple 16 fertilizer when I laid down the seed on top of Tenacity to stop seeds from germinating and killing anything that might be there. I am a huge fan of Tenacity and encourage anyone who is looking for a solid pre emergent to get this one. You can find it on Amazon as well as Domyown.com

Love the big maple! Lawn turned out really well! I need to throw down some PRG in some of my shady spots. The KBG I did didn’t take very well on my overseed. Great work!

No I have not used that seed. Have heard good things though. I try and keep mine at 3/4” and want to lower it to 1/2” next year
How is that sweeper? I have so many leaves in the fall mixed with pine needles and it's too annoying to do with leaf blower. Also, I mixed my 365 is midnight lol. lets see how it goes.
I like it a lot! Better than just mowing it up. I have been using it on my maple leaves and it works with a few passes. That’s the perfect mix!! Midnight is my GOAT grass seed

How did you pick up all the plugs? I end up raking and it’s the worst part of the whole process. Soil sweeper I think you called it?
Yeah it’s a leaf sweeper actually from earthwise. Worked pretty good. It is the worst part for sure trying to rake all those. Another thing I will do is get my old mower blade (not sharp) and mow them up.

Sharpening mower blades? I use a grinder to sharpen my blades
