I have a question I am going to level my yard with sand in about two weeks. I have probably 4500 ft.² total to do my yard is very uneven so I will probably need like 6 tons to do everything.
My question is when a truck comes and dumps the sand and you fill it up and spread the sand. What happens when you go back to the pile and you still have further to push but that’s like 70 feet away? Meaning when you put sand back in it won’t the sand come out and it’s just going over where you were just going with the spreader to get to the other part of the yard. That doesn’t have the sand yet , thanks let me know

I would suggest over-seeding before you top dress. Let the seed fall into the holes before they get filled. You could even spread more seed over the top. I don’t think you can put down too much seed! Good luck selling your house. A great lawn and landscaping like you have will help you get top dollar!
