When it popped up, I was thinking WHAAAT??? That's got to be higher on that list! Not that it's easy to choose a performance, he really nails them all. He had so few lines in "Dunkirk", and his facial expressions and eyes relayed exactly what was going through the character's mind. IMHO. But Alfie... Both comic relief and horrifying nightmare at the same time!
+TheCraigy111 I don't want him wasted on Bond. I love that he does so many different things. If he's tied up in Bond he wont be able to do really great projects. Bond is so formulaic- Doesn't take a great actor- although is has had some. It's mainly explosions and gadgets.
This video is old, but his work in Legend & Taboo are also so solid. I mean, truly, when you watched him as the Kray brothers you really believe they are two separate actors/people. That takes so much talent!
I really think his best performance was in Bronson. And its just like with Christian Bale in American psycho, those two roles define them as an actors, and the question is perhaps, will they ever top it, because its a masterpiece.
+Raziel that is interesting that you say it defines his career. For me it has to be Locke because the whole film was just him and voices on a telephone. I don't think any other actor could have captured the intensity of the film Locke as well as he did. As the credits began rolling I was invested in his character that it seemed like a shame that the movie had to end. That is one of my all time favorites. It was just Hardy in a car but he made the whole movie come alive and that was extraordinary. He is great actor. He is becoming great just like Gary Oldman. Gary Oldman is in a class of his own but Tom Hardy is definitely very close to being in that category.
+sparky8363 I absolutely love Locke, but i can infact imagine other actors in that role. Lot of other actors. However, only Tom Hardy can play Bronson, and his performance was explosive, energetic and chaotic just like Charlie is in a real life. You cannot see that he is acting, he is so natural in that role. Its like Pacino was born to play Michael Corleone, or De Niro to play taxi driver. Those are their high peeks of career and acting skills, and im sure Bronson is for Tom Hardy.
Just out of curiosity, but who else do you think could have done just as good of a job as Hardy in Locke? Bronson was a good movie and one of Hardy's best but the action in that movie can pull more audiences in just with the violence alone. Locke on the other as a previous commentor pointed out didn't get alot of play because it wasn't chalk full of action. That role solidified Hardy as one of the top actors for me. If it was any other actor I would've shut it off within 15 min. I'd like to see who you think would be capable of delivery as great of a performance.
Marcus G Admirable but mistaken hahaha cause i remember trying to show my friends in College Broson, Star Trek and Warrior and they didnt really seem interested but once they found out BANE was an MMA fighter and a Crazy prisoner lets marathon that shit xD
JaxBlade I respect that then. Don't try to generalize people like I tried to generalize you then lol. I remember watching the Bronson movie when it came out and I knew he had skill, takes alot of prowess to act out a crazy guy and make it incredibly believable that he's crazy. I haven't even watched dark night tbh
Tom Hardy is the most versatile and talented actor of our times. I have watched all of his movies being Bronson my favorite. I saw the movie, bought the DVD, and bought three of his books. He is a super talented actor and right now I'm waiting for what he is going to give us next!
@@mscoot629 I’m the real Tom Hardy …sorry for late response I’ve been really busy with sets ,kindly drop your email address so I’ll mail you …Then again thanks for all the love and support ,I promise to always give in my best
His perfomance as Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders is beyond excellent. Alfie was a character that you would hate with the things that he'd done to the Shelby Family, but thanks to Hardy's perfomance he became one of my favourite characters in the series. Couldn't even hate him in the last episode of Season 4. The guy is a brilliant actor!
Now we have Tom Hardy in Taboo... which is one of my favorites of his. You get so lost in what he's portraying, that you forget he's an actor. He's insanely talented, and incredibly hot!
Numba wan! Could've been! This video was uploaded in 2015, Taboo came about in 2017 tho. Otherwise, Watchmojo wouldn't've hesitated (if they're rational enough)
Glad to see Tom getting the praise he deserves for his portrayal of Bane. He was terrifying and unforgettable in a role where most of his face is covered.
I think his portrayal of Forest Bondurant was MAGICAL!!! His quiet, composed, and 1000% badass character was just stunning. I'm sure if Forest was still here, he would have loved this movie about his family and legacy. ❤
Legend was his most memorable acting. He was so handsome as Reggie and menacing as Ron. I loved the movie and all the crap Reggie had to put up with his insane brother!

NOT So Average Joe The movie was not complete garbage. I guess you need to be able to understand or relate to such a lifestyle to see it through. Legend is by far my favorite movie.
You haven't seen Tom Hardy's best, unless you saw "Stuart : A life backwards"... A compelling true story, that was produced for television by BBC... Tom delivered a heart wrenching performance. This should definitely be on top of this list.... Don't miss it.

Jaeden Phillips They made this list because Mad Max is coming out. They are basically promoting the film by making people interested in the lead actor. Although I personally didn't need this list to decide to watch it, I decided right after the first trailer I saw and finding out Tom Hardy was Mad Max.
Charlie Drummond yeah... im really shocked bane was so high. i knew it would be on the list. but i thought if any of his american movies were being to be on the 1 spot it would be inception because the movie is so popular. bronson was easily his best.
Charlie Drummond I think Locke should've been number 1. I personally loved the movie, but it's understandable that some people don't, everyone either loves or hates it. But it's the one of my favorite performances of all time, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape :D
@@reyes8143 Topher grace was the best venom in Spider-Man 3 it was dark , terrifying and evil and Topher grace as venom looked more terrifying his design was badass Topher grace as venom was pure evil and Creepy Tom Hardy version only did. jokes and was funny anti hero and carnage was also a joke in that Movie.
C.B Black that film sucked from my perspective. Hardy was the only thing which held it together. Leo plays himself over and over again. he's like John Wayne or Clint Eastwood...same style. very few are character actors today.

@@june1935 Thanks for your honest and sincere reply…. I really appreciate your support… So June how long have you been a fan of my work and what do you like about me?
I LOVE Tom Hardy!! He can do or play ANYTHING - he's SUPER talented; like a chameleon and can adapt to any part...he's also drop dead GORGEOUS!!! I'm so glad he's finally being recognized after all these years!!
The 'crossed the line' scene in peaky blinders S3E6 between cillian and Tom is absolutely outstanding. one of the best pieces of acting Iv ever seen. Both actors are the best of there generation and put a lot of ridiculously paid actors to shame...
The fact that the Tom Hardy can play a variety of different characters in multiple great movies fascinates me. But the audacity to not even mention “Legend”, even in the honorable mentions, is what killed me a little inside. I know other actors have done it before but to play twins of such different personalities in this great movie makes him my favorite actor of all time & I am sad that it was not in this video but all these are great movies involving & starring this great actor, & makes me want to watch most them in a binge
+FranSolo I posted the same comment, when i finished the list. One could argue it was his best performance ever. He actually had to act instead of just being a bad mother fucker all the time. (Which is awesome.)
+Randumb Opinion precisely! It was actually the first movie I saw with Cumberbatch as well. And it just so happens that those two are perhaps in the top 5 list of A Class actors of our time.
Bob saginowski was some of the greatest acting ive ever seen .... Hardy portrayed a very typical and normal and quiet person who was more than capable of instantly snapping into a cold blooded killer only when absolutely necessary .... the tension he brought in this film conviced me he's one of the greatest actors alive
I just watched him in Dunkirk and damn he was good. Very good actually, considering half his face was covered in a mask for like 90% of his appearance. But he still managed to act with his eyes only and made you sympathize with his character. No wonder Nolan cast him. He's just very great at what he's doing.
***** Yes! That's what I was going to suggest. Should definitely be on this list somewhere. Anyway, I'm still not quite into all these comic book roles that WatchMojo seems to love. I'd probably have had Bronson first.
Abby Darel I picked up and smashed my tv when I watched him get his throat slashed lol then I decided to watch the rest and realized that he survived that and was a little embarrassed with my self lol
+Kris Popish And they don't effing have a spoiler alert?! The list is pathetic as it is, but ruining that movie for people is a damn travesty... Other people deserve the right to pick up and smash their TV at that moment and then feel stupid for it later on.
100% My heart broke into a million pieces for him. Although I loved Lawrence Olivier, Tom Hardy took me down to a place reserved only for the truly, insanely broken-hearted.
I saw him in Band of Brothers, and due to his abilities, I can tell you I am only discovering him in films I've already watched. Not realizing he was in these films due to his abilities of characters. gREAT ACTOR.
+QAZAZZA He had quite a lot of lines in the last two episodes, but in the other 8 he was just a character that sometimes got seen in the background or walking across the frame. his name was Genovic if I remember correctly.
I'm not much of a movie guy but I happened to watch legend which I found to be a great movie, and became aware of Tom Hardy and his acting. Ended up buying 4 books on the krays, then watch Bronson with the same results. This man is special.....
A very underrated actor, his acting in Bronson is some of the best i've seen comparing it to the real person, how he captured the madness of Bronson is truly amazing, i just hope he gets a top award sometime soon, my favourite actor by far, mad max, bronson, the revenant, dark knight rises, legend, pure acting gold!
My favorite has always been Warrior. I love everything Hardy has done, but Warrior is such an underrated movie and Tom is so underrated in it. The way his tough- guy manner breaks down at the end gets me every time
+DuckFace123 He has been in many better films in my view. Warrior, Bronson, Peaky Blinders he is good too. I thought the script for Legend was lacking. Reggie was well played but his performance of Ronnie was awful. couldn't take him seriously. My favourite was Bronson
+stormbringerr mourn His accent there was awful though. I only stuck around to the end because he's a great actor but the accent kept making me laugh/cringe. Not a Brooklyn accent at all! I kept wondering how Gandolfini let him continue speaking like that instead of helping him out.
JadedForAlways i guess your from Brooklyn ? im in Texas and it sounded real to me. anyway i didn't say Brooklyn accent i said American accent. he does one in the revenant also that is very good. i just saw this movie.
stormbringerr mourn I know you said American but its just that the setting was Brooklyn and it sounded goofy. Yeah I completely agree that in other films that require an American accent, he nails it which is why i was surprised by The Drop. The revenant was amazing no doubt.
JadedForAlways the grizzly attack in revenant made me cringe. i also saw legend, which is mainly only worth watching to see hardy portray both the kray twins. he carries the whole movie
I think Locke is his number one performance I've seen. (Number 3 on this list.) Also his two roles in Legend are both fantastically well done - you can tell immediately which of the two brothers he is portraying in every case. His acting is remarkable.
"Locke" is a must see by all men. Something for dads to show their sons and teach them what a real responsibility is, even if it's just a movie. What an atmosphere, what an acting. Just wow.
@@CombatFlapjack That makes sense I guess. I just think that having to face the consequences doesn’t make up for the fact that his wife and other 2 kids will pass a tough time because of the divorce. His family has to face the consequences for mistakes they never did. But your reply makes sense as I said. It’s still much better than just running away and abandoning everyone of them.
Let the games begin! No but seriously I love TDKR and Tom Hardy as Bane but as performances go, his acting in Warrior was far superior plus I think he's actually bigger (physically) in Warrior
mk6rfc1 I don't agree on that but I can see why you would think that. While he is bigger physically in Batman than in Warrior, he is much leaner fat wise in Warrior which causes him to look stronger and therefore bigger. However he weighs around 15 pounds more as bane because he wasn't a lot to shred too much fat because he would lose the Bane size :)
Vince Niknazmanesh He dirty bulked, and as a result looked like a fat slob. He even admitted he regretted the decision, it gave him trouble later- hell you can even tell in the movie when movie his fat ass around took a toll. That said, it seemed to fit the character better than his Tommy look would have.
Everyone forgets his role in the tv series, Taboo. Amazing stylish drama. Hardy was incredible. I cannot wait for the 2nd season. That part should of been on this list.
Has become my favorite new actor by far. Will watch anything with him in it. A phenomenal talent we haven't seen come out of Hollywood in far too long! My favorite role/movie of his was Legend. Should be #1 on list; especially as he played both roles of the Kray twins simultaneously!
I'm in America. It was to be released in September here in America as it was in Europe but got pushed back to mid October, then it got pushed back to mid November.....THEN it got pushed back to December 5th, it really sucked waiting to see Legend. And when it did open in theater in my state, it was only showing in one theater in my whole state. Luckily it was only an hour drive. It could be possibly take until the spring till the movie hits all the countries. It has been definitely a confusing and frustrating wait for this movie for a lot ppl.
The amazing thing about going to see a movie with Tom Hardy in it is that you never see *Tom Hardy*. He's so absolutely changeable and that is amazing.
+andrew moonbeam agreed mate, such vastly underrated movie. Lars And The Real Girl is another. If you haven't seen it already. Not starring Tom Hardy though.
***** Glad to know there are people out there that don't always pay attention to the mainstream headliners and find the little forgotten gems in among them all.
Saying no role is comparable to Bane is bullshit. Many of his other roles were a lot better. Not saying Bane was bad. He did all the work with his eyes. His eyes are intense.
I think the point if that comment, is how he gained so much mass to become Bane. Whether it be through hgh, steroids, or all natural, it is a feat most men only dream of doing.
Few actors other than Tom Hardy could have played the lead role in Stuart: A Life Lived Backwards. The movie, which costarred a young Benedict Cumberbatch, had moments of levity but generally was a depressing true tale of the harrowing life of a disabled and abused young man. Hardy’s performance was a stunner. Far more enjoyable were his wonderful performances as Dudley in The Virgin Queen (co-starring Anne-Marie Duff, then the wife of James McAvoy) and his powerful performance as Heathcliff in the best-ever version of Wuthering Heights. It was while filming Wuthering Heights that he met Charlotte Riley who is now his wife and mother of one of his two children.
Lawless. Tom brings a palatable toughness to the roll. Love everything about that film. All the actors step up in their individual roles. The screenplay by Nick Cave and John Hillcoat, the music by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis and the costume design. I own the DVD and watch it over and over.
I was wondering the same thing til I realised that “Legend” came out after this list. It’s my second favourite of his films behind “Lawless”. (Have you met Howard?) lol.
Alfie Solomons needs to be higher on this list. He steals every scene he's in in Peaky Blinders.

Jaeden Phillips Uhhh I think they did that for that very reason, to help promote the movie and the actor. Which are both fantastic.
Jaeden Phillips they did it for mad max. the company that made the movie wanted them to promote it inn a way of their own.
Jaeden Phillips They made this list because Mad Max is coming out. They are basically promoting the film by making people interested in the lead actor.
Although I personally didn't need this list to decide to watch it, I decided right after the first trailer I saw and finding out Tom Hardy was Mad Max.
Good list but i do think 1 and 2 should swap.
Charlie Drummond yeah... im really shocked bane was so high. i knew it would be on the list. but i thought if any of his american movies were being to be on the 1 spot it would be inception because the movie is so popular. bronson was easily his best.
TOTALLY AGREE DUDE 👏
Charlie Drummond I want to make more accounts just to up vote you more
I agree. Bronson will always be the oscar that was snubbed from him
Charlie Drummond I think Locke should've been number 1. I personally loved the movie, but it's understandable that some people don't, everyone either loves or hates it. But it's the one of my favorite performances of all time, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape :D
Let's also not forget him becoming Mad Max and being the best part of Venom
Agreed on the mad max
venom was a bunch of shit
@@conor-_C yea we don't give a fuck shut up
@@reyes8143 Topher grace was the best venom in Spider-Man 3 it was dark , terrifying and evil and Topher grace as venom looked more terrifying his design was badass
Topher grace as venom was pure evil and Creepy
Tom Hardy version only did. jokes and was funny anti hero and carnage was also a joke in that Movie.
@@conor-_C in your opinion. Tom Hardy and Venom are both insane in the best possible way for me.
For me, his role as Alfie Solomons AT LEAST should be in my top 5 his best performance. He's such a scene stealer in Peaky fookin Bloinders, mate.
Hell yes!!!!
Shame this was out before he played John Fitzgerald in The Revenant. Deserved a best supporting Oscar for that role.
yeah in my opinion, he is the best thing of the Revenant
pelts.
Agreed, he was like another person in that movie.
C.B Black that film sucked from my perspective. Hardy was the only thing which held it together. Leo plays himself over and over again. he's like John Wayne or Clint Eastwood...same style.
very few are character actors today.
C.B Black guzel wewqbhh
Tom Hardy! What an actor! Plus he’s not afraid to show his family jewels on screen. Thanks TH!
To bad the twigs small but the plums are huge butt bouncers
I literally cant tell wich character he did best... because pretty much every character he plays is impeccable
Everytime a woman sees a Tom Hardy movie..... some woman , somewhere ovulates
MsRainbow Brite O_o
Terry Murray Don't underestimate the power of the Hardy Stare
MsRainbow Brite I... I got the weirdest boner right now... O_o
Terry Murray do you like Tom too?
I can confirm this does indeed happen
He killed it in the Revenant
Will Varalla yea this video was uploaded before the film tho
^^^ it won't be on this list, maybe a part two since WatchMojo don't do re-ups!
Tom Hardy as Heathcliff in Wuthuring Heights is by far my favourite part he's acted, absolutely amazing,
i agree i loved him in that. i also enjoyed him in oliver twist 2007.
@@june1935 Hello 👋
I want to say thanks for all your warm comments and support you’ve showered at me..
If you don’t mind how long have you been a fan of my work?
@@tomhardy939 well the first thing i did see you was wuthuring heights. i have watched a few other things since then though.
@@june1935 Thanks for your honest and sincere reply…. I really appreciate your support…
So June how long have you been a fan of my work and what do you like about me?
I would like to see Tom Hardy as James Bond
Count me in
So would I!!! 🙌
James Bond villian would be interesting, I dont know about 007 himself
I'd like to see him portray Frank castle the punisher
@@t10star30 perhaps he could play 007s nutty brother 😃
As a god, Alfie Solomons is fucking best mate.
God spoke to me he said Alfie you're ment to have this
BRONSON ,hands down his best role ,he showed so much range in that masterpiece.
True fuck me I've never seen such a high level of acting in one movie HOLY SHIT
I'm surprised that Stuart: A Life Backwards isn't on this list. That was the first movie I saw of Hardy and was entirely blown away by his talent.
+FranSolo
I posted the same comment, when i finished the list. One could argue it was his best performance ever. He actually had to act instead of just being a bad mother fucker all the time. (Which is awesome.)
Thank you!
+Randumb Opinion Exactly! He gets typecast so fucking much, but he really does have such an enormous range. Ugh. That movie made me cry like a baby
+Randumb Opinion precisely! It was actually the first movie I saw with Cumberbatch as well. And it just so happens that those two are perhaps in the top 5 list of A Class actors of our time.
To my initial comment, goes to show that you can't just do a top 10 Tom Hardy performance. They're all bloody good!
L R just like when he played bane
Yes, I agree, LR. The final scene was so powerful.........
Glad to see Warrior so high. Definitely one of the greatest dramas I've ever seen!
It wasn't about the movie it was about his role as the character.
***** Yes, but he was clearly one of the best parts. The acting was what made the movie phenomenal. That final scene always get me :)
What an actor!
Btw you totally forgot "Stuart: A life backwards"....
***** Yes! That's what I was going to suggest. Should definitely be on this list somewhere.
Anyway, I'm still not quite into all these comic book roles that WatchMojo seems to love. I'd probably have had Bronson first.
***** I know right. At the end of that movie I cried like a little bitch.
Which my brother is in.
***** His character in the drop reminded me a little of stuart
***** Stuart is my favorite of all
Tom Hardy in Legend was amazing. Playing both lead characters so well, I didn’t realize they were the same actor.
My favourite is definitely Forrest Bondurant from Lawless! Amazing role!
complete badass
Abby Darel I picked up and smashed my tv when I watched him get his throat slashed lol then I decided to watch the rest and realized that he survived that and was a little embarrassed with my self lol
best best best
+Kris Popish And they don't effing have a spoiler alert?! The list is pathetic as it is, but ruining that movie for people is a damn travesty... Other people deserve the right to pick up and smash their TV at that moment and then feel stupid for it later on.
Agreed !
Wuthering heights!!!!!! His best performance
100% My heart broke into a million pieces for him. Although I loved Lawrence Olivier, Tom Hardy took me down to a place reserved only for the truly, insanely broken-hearted.
Hello my lovely friend. how are you doing I'm Tom hardy⚘⚘I really love your comment. Nice to meet you❤❤
Hello 👋
I want to say thanks for all your warm comments and support you’ve showered at me..
If you don’t mind how long have you been a fan of my work?
I saw him in Band of Brothers, and due to his abilities, I can tell you I am only discovering him in films I've already watched. Not realizing he was in these films due to his abilities of characters. gREAT ACTOR.
Who did he play in BoB? I can't remember him.
He was in the first scene havingn sex with the German blonde in the part once they arrived in Germany and discovered the Camps
+QAZAZZA He had quite a lot of lines in the last two episodes, but in the other 8 he was just a character that sometimes got seen in the background or walking across the frame. his name was Genovic if I remember correctly.
+Mike Box i perfectly know what you are saying, undergoing the same process and i have to admit it gives me a whole lot of satisfaction :)
He's been in a lot of films.
Watch Taboo. Omg! It's fantastic
Tom Hardy can do my own accent better than I can
3. Bronson 2. Bane 1. Legend (The Kray Twins)
Kray
yes legend is the best
Your top 3 is much better.
In my view ,,The Take“ is one of the most underrated movies, in which tommy acts excellently
Freddie Jackson was terrifying and riveting 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Yes, yes, yes, yes 👍👍👍👍🔥
My favorite has always been Warrior. I love everything Hardy has done, but Warrior is such an underrated movie and Tom is so underrated in it. The way his tough- guy manner breaks down at the end gets me every time
Tom hardy is my favorite actor of all time ,and I think tom hardy should be the next james bond ☺
Richard Joganah deffo but only in a few years he's still fairly young for bond and it's going take a couple years when Craig is done
I agree completely
I could see that
Him being young is even better. Gives him time to play the role for an even longer period, which I’m damn sure he’s gonna nail.
or Wolverine
the best one was in legend for 100%
+DuckFace123 No
+Chase Kaplan wich one do u think?
+DuckFace123 He has been in many better films in my view. Warrior, Bronson, Peaky Blinders he is good too. I thought the script for Legend was lacking. Reggie was well played but his performance of Ronnie was awful. couldn't take him seriously. My favourite was Bronson
+DuckFace123 Oh and Locke. literally the only person in the movie. Finest acting possible. There was nothing special about Legend trust me
+Chase Kaplan How bout Inception? he dudnt get much but he didn't need to. he did amazing in the time he had
Tom Hardy brings every role he plays.
No matter what.
i thought the best was the drop. i actually thought he was an American because it was first time i saw him.he can really do accents of all sorts.
+stormbringerr mourn His accent there was awful though. I only stuck around to the end because he's a great actor but the accent kept making me laugh/cringe. Not a Brooklyn accent at all! I kept wondering how Gandolfini let him continue speaking like that instead of helping him out.
JadedForAlways
i guess your from Brooklyn ? im in Texas and it sounded real to me. anyway i didn't say Brooklyn accent i said American accent. he does one in the revenant also that is very good. i just saw this movie.
stormbringerr mourn I know you said American but its just that the setting was Brooklyn and it sounded goofy. Yeah I completely agree that in other films that require an American accent, he nails it which is why i was surprised by The Drop. The revenant was amazing no doubt.
JadedForAlways
the grizzly attack in revenant made me cringe. i also saw legend, which is mainly only worth watching to see hardy portray both the kray twins. he carries the whole movie
stormbringerr mourn I'm going to check out Bronson then. I never bothered to watch it before.
Watched Warrior last night and thought Tom Hardy was absolutely incredible
Warrior is basically titanic for guys
@@tommartin9100wasn't it saving Private Ryan
TheLivvyD ......that was the first movie I had ever seen him in, I honestly thought they had casted a real MMA guy. Had no idea who he was.
@@fredthompson1674 but the guy who acted as his brother is an actual MMA guy though but Tom Hardy too pulled it off convincingly
He killed it on warrior
I think his portrayal as the Kray Twins in Legend was top class, definitely deserves a place in this list.
I think Locke is his number one performance I've seen. (Number 3 on this list.) Also his two roles in Legend are both fantastically well done - you can tell immediately which of the two brothers he is portraying in every case. His acting is remarkable.
You forgot to include Legend. He played twin brothers.
"Locke" is a must see by all men. Something for dads to show their sons and teach them what a real responsibility is, even if it's just a movie. What an atmosphere, what an acting. Just wow.
nah don't spoiler dude...
Teach them responsibility, and also how to cheat on their wife and ruin a family.
@@flavio7180 it's quite human to make mistakes but it takes guts to face the consequences and that's what the movie is all about, my friend. Peace.
Looked like he was huh?I thought the same thing.
mk6rfc1 couldn't agree more!!
mk6rfc1 Bonson should be at 1
mk6rfc1 I don't agree on that but I can see why you would think that.
He gave a powerful, heart -wrenching performance as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights.
someone gets it
I really loved him as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights. Dude, the chemistry with his wife was very strong in the tv series.
For me, Lawless is his best performance. It was his gritty hillbilly character that made me his fan.
Snehartho Dey 2nd best. Legend is better.
Nope... LAWLESS Was the BOMB
Has become my favorite new actor by far. Will watch anything with him in it. A phenomenal talent we haven't seen come out of Hollywood in far too long! My favorite role/movie of his was Legend. Should be #1 on list; especially as he played both roles of the Kray twins simultaneously!
1. Warrior
2. Lawless
3. Legend
Forrest Bondurant was his baddest character if u ask me.
A truly phenomenal actor, and easy on the eye too!
Reg and Ron Kray from Legend was by far the best, but this video was made before the film was out
Sometimes there's a perfect storm of when your favorite book and favorite actor meet:
Wuthering Heights + Tom Hardy
Hardy's performance in taboo was amazing 😍
Definitely Bronson but since I've seen Legend, I really love his performance in that movie too.
+Ashley Wannebo-Perron are you in the u.k.? i only say cuz it hasnt been released where i live. I figure L.A. and NY have it along w/London
+Ashley Wannebo-Perron If you like Legend try out Peaky Blinders
Taboo, new tv show with T.Hardy, really good.
Gia Collins you mean excellent !! he is just amazing as james delaney
My favorite Tom Hardy role to date. James Keziah Delaney/ Taboo.
Ya. Most beautifully dark and powerful character he's done. Come on season 2!!!!!!
Best and my fav
Even better that it's based on a story he wrote with his father.... Loved the show 😍
The amazing thing about going to see a movie with Tom Hardy in it is that you never see *Tom Hardy*. He's so absolutely changeable and that is amazing.
Stuart:A Life Backwards beats all of these hands down.
I love it too..Hardy is a genius there..and the movie is one of my favorite
Innit. ..and with Benny cumber-biatch to boot. Sometimes I think WM is only allowed to pick from 300 stock films.
I came here to say this exact same thing too!
Ooooooh!!!
For me his best was Alfie solomons. He made such an insane character so believable
Same with Dunkirk. Every emotion and thought was expressed with his eyes.
WHERE WAS LEGEND!? Plus shoutout to all the people who were Tom Hardy fans before he was bane
@Bad Kitty The Drop is an amazing movie too. He looked so yummy in This Means War!
@Bad Kitty Lol!
🥺🥺
I was wondering the same thing til I realised that “Legend” came out after this list. It’s my second favourite of his films behind “Lawless”. (Have you met Howard?) lol.
the take was when i became a fan
And now hes going to be Venom next year
yeep
He nailed it too
Ironically, him as the symbiote was better than him as Brock, and I know that Hardy was best for Eddie
now mad max and legend are the best perfomances
Konstantina La legend
Thanks dear konstantina and nice to meet you 💝
Post 2015, after this list was done, the list got bigger and better! Tom Hardy's portrayal of both the Kray twins in Legend should be a list topper!
He is amazing in the show Taboo. I love watching him perform.
