As a vet myself no one ever said here this will help you, but enough about me it's great that vets do get help from Patriots who care just wish there were more like y'all
Awesome video ,I like seeing people giving back too our veterans I'm not a veteran but I know they are the reason I live free thank you sir for your service
First things first, thank you for your service! Second, very, very informative video! I was ignorant 20 minutes ago of what real bulletproof'ing was. Thank you gents!
AMEN! Thank you Dennis! And to all Vets!!! May peace be with you... And to Bill, thank you man for all the knowledgeable videos! You and your crew really do an outstanding job... God Bless, Everyone...
I also have Rottweiler's. They have done more for me than any therapy or medication the VA has provided. I just got my first 6.0, and I am looking forward to building it the right way. Thanks for such an excellent channel. And I especially want to thank you for supporting our veteran's.
There was a lot more to bulletproofing than I thought. Very nice designing and layout. I am a Cummins guy but am impressed by the Ford enthusiasts will power to prevent these things from dying. I get mad when my engine leaks oil, I feel bad for you Ford guys.
I have a oil cooler from Bulletproof Diesel and love it. I tow a 14k 5th wheel with my 6.0l and in the dead of summer I don't see my oil temp go passed 230 towing. it should have come from the factory that way. thanks for the video bill.
That's why I stay away from trucks that are "bulletproofed"..unless they have receipts to prove it. There's no telling who worked on it or what parts they used.
I just had my 07 6.0L completely Bullet Proof by Bullet Proof Diesel in Mesa Arizona . All five pattern failure points were replaced. I've got the receipt to prove it. Before I sent my truck to BPD I installed all the cooling components that Mishimoto sells. Even though my 6.0L had 79,500 miles (yes 79,500 miles) on the clock, I did all this because I wasn't about to pay 80K for a new F250.
Im fucking impressed! Sorry for the language but wow, I say that because I saw safety wiring, and I see safety wiring on bolt heads that were hidden. Very good. Im an FAA repairman and one thing i appreciate is good safety wiring, Thank you and Thank you for your service. Its an honor for me to even write you....
My truck got Bulletproofed in Arizona 2 years ago at the actual Bulletproof shop. It wasn't cheap but nothing good ever is. 2007 F350 FX4 crewcab longbed.
Many thanks Bill. Ive had my 2006 6.0 for 2 years now. Learning as I go, working out of it and keeping on. Because of your videos I've made some improvements along the way and really appreciate your honesty and forthcoming with the diesel education. Im in Colorado, if I end up with some cash one day I will send her down to you for the bullet proof! Keep up the good work brother!
Love the sound of that turbo in that truck, comes in crystal clear with ear buds on. I hope to get my 2006 f350 to u some day for dealer proofing and other up grades. Thanks from Michigan
Great video! Looks like a top notch install. I'm looking to buy my first diesel and will be looking at 2 trucks that have been "Bullet-Proofed" Great info! Great job supporting our Veterans!
Train a vet program is just great, and thanks for all the information available that is a real asset to powerstroke owners. I ordered a 2001,7.3, F-350 4×4DRW, and drug a 4-horse slant just about everywhere and Powerstrokehelp.com help me keep it going till 2014 when I was rear ended in Okc., now y'all help me keep my 2006, 6.0, F350, F×4, DRW, going . Thanks for all y'all do!, Powerstrokehelp.com, and Diesel Tech Ron, (he was very helpful ) have my thanks., Michael Easter,, thanks for the help!
I LOVE MY FORD EXCURSION 2005, 6.0 POWERSTROKE, I have upgraded the EGR and Oil cooler, serviced the turbo, changed the water pump, alternator, belt, and just now, had to put a new FICM. It runs like new. I know it's the last vehicle I will ever own, and the best vehicle I have ever owned. Oh, I do have an oil bypass filter and coolant filter, only use Amsoil oil from the time I owned it. 160700.57 miles and going strong. I Purchased this in Texas back in 2010, it had 135289. 22 miles. I just love my SUV. Live in LOS ANGELAS CALIFORNIA now. Will be moving soon.
It's a real shame you don't have a lot of subscribers because all of your videos have taught me a lot about power stroke trucks. Keep the videos coming
Wow big round of applause to the BulletProofDiesel guys as well as Powerstrokehelp.com that's an awesome thing to do for dennis! Jealous man! What a mint looking and sounding truck now
Bill great video as always! I recently had a problem with my 06 F250 super duty. I was throwing some codes for the turbo. P0299 and P0470. I had three shops trying to tell me my turbo was bad (stuck vanes). I did a lot of research and it turned out the Exhaust Back Pressure sensor was clogged at the tube. I replaced it myself. I'm not sure if it's really common on these high mileage trucks. I have 245,000 miles on the truck. Anyways I replaced the sensor and tube and it solved my problem. Just an idea for a future video possibly you can make a video and save people a lot of money. Instead of ignorant shops taking people's money for no reason by replacing turbos. Thanks.
I watch all of you video I really love the one I just saw with a vet, I am also a vet from the Nam era , I wish him the very best and I commend you sir for all of the information on Power Strokes I have one myself , you are a straight shooter and I admire a man . who is straight up, you keep making videos and I will continue to watch your video's ,the very best to you and all the vet's out there. A loyal watcher of you video, I wish i could afford to have my 06 , 6.0 bulletproofed. i can't but she does what i need it to. do .
Another GREAT video. I just wanted to say a BIG Thank YOU ! First to ALL the Vets.... Next a BIG Thank you to you-all @ Powerstrokehelp... I've have used your advise from your video's/website MANY times... for my 2002 7.3L for towing my fifth wheel RV. I don't know if I missed it (I'll have to search), but do you have a video on what's involved with Dealerproofing/Bulletproofing the 7.3L for me/my 02 Power Stroke without EGR/ other emissions?
Everything is Bigger in Texas , Same goes for this channel glad to see super High End Diesel engine Parts from the bulletproof People inTexas. 2nd vid watched & twice impressed.
Bill, how does it feel to have so many guys love you ? and not in a sexual way either. LOL thank you for everything you do. You definitely think about others. And do a lot for them. Our American Heroes number one. And thank you for all that you do for Powerstroke lovers like me. You the MAN !!!!
If we really wanted to take care of our vets (and we should) we would make sure our govt. doesn't misuse them fighting unjust wars which only make the banking cartels richer.
yeah lets get our troops out of pointless wars. Just last month a mission was assigned that didn't even need done but was done and a Navy Seal had died. Crooked government.
Where do you think the heat from the oil cooler in-front of the radiator is going? The air is heated as it goes through the oil cooler and then through the radiator. Some will pass through with the air but some will transfer to the radiator and the water/AF mix. Now you have three coolers in a row: water, AC, and oil and lots of heat to dissipate. With the larger radiator it is not an issue but with a stock radiator it could still be a factor. I have normally put oil coolers in a different air stream than the radiator. Have even put a squirrel cage fan on the cooler when necessary.
Man, I tell every young guy I meet going in the army, to make sure they get a qualification they can use in the big world when they get out, as while killing people and wrecking stuff are desirable traits on the battlefield, unfortunately they aren't too many jobs with pre requisites for that. No wonder all these guys are coming home and committing suicide, they are getting left behind by the government and the system.
What would shops do without the gem of an engine called the 6.0 powerstroke diesel? I bet that the shop I work at has made over a million dollars on the 6.0.
I have the original bulletproof oil cooler the radiator is twice that size and had the original ficm power supply I took it out soldered it and replaced surface mount power mosfet with higher power it has never failed egr delete bulletproof 6.0 no issues ever
i have 2006 6.0 temp gage will climb to H then drops immediately with in 3 seconds . only if going up a hill or towing ..now this doesnt happen all the time .. occasionally mabe once a month or longer i replaced cap that didnt help .. i pulled egr valve is was dry on sides but wet on bottom of valve . and moisture inside intake .. im in knoxville tn and pretty much cant trust these so called mechanics here .. what do you think ?
I finally got rid of mine. Christ I had the good heads all the good stuff by a reputable shop Diesel off road Technology's in Soddy Daisy. Everything fell apart around the parts they installed. I couldn't keep putting thousands of dollars into a truck because the income I made with the truck didn't come close to the repairs and maintenance. The 6.0 is a straight up flop. It's insane FMC comes to this guy for advice on thier engines. If you ain't loaded a 6.0 will drain every dollar you have. Otherwise nice truck and drive train I had the manual trans great truck trash engine
Glad you explained. I've been looking for this very video for the last couple weeks. I might have to buy an 05-07 from you. Agree. Steelers are lame haha.
Damnit..thank you! That phrase drives me nuts. I have argued countless times with people especially on craigslist who say the truck is "bulletproof". They always think that headstuds and egr delete etc is "bulletproof" and its not. most are just ignorant.. but most are about as smart as a steering wheel on a train.
Im glad I got my 04' Superduty Bulletproofed. External oil cooler, Big Dogg head kit, EGR delete, and a handful of goodies that Bill and his right hand man Mikey installed. I Love my Superduty after Powerstroke Specialty in Buford, Ga hooked me up. Thank you so much guys.

Yes indeed
Half of the 6.0’s on Craigslist only have studs and are advertising them as bulletproof.
i just bought a 6.0L.......... advertised as bulletproof didnt even have to go look at the truck in person............... guy deliverd it to me on a trailer....... everything in the engine is aftermarket. and the transmission is a Red diamond deisel transmission......... doesnt even have a radiator fan its 2 electric radiator fans........

Fantastic Video! Makes me want to trade in my v10 for a 6.0 just to be part of the fam. Thank you for supporting our vets!
KvotheYSL21 you won't be disappointed with your "bulletproofed" 6.0l. I love mine and plan to get 600k out of the motor
It would be nice to see the ad on the bottom of the screen go away.
It covers stuff up.
FINALLY bulletproofed my engine. Can't wait to start her up!!
If we really wanted to take care of our vets (and we should) we would make sure our govt. doesn't misuse them fighting unjust wars which only make the banking cartels richer.

F^CKIN A RIGHT, WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OUR VETS DAMNIT. GOD BLESS YOU BILL!!!
Great Ending ✌🏻❤️🇺🇸
That is a really nice 6.0 sounds mint
Yes sir, I have all bulletproofdiesel parts on my 6.0.
If you send the hot oil to a heat exchanger in front of the coolant radiator wouldn't that also transfer heat into the cooling system?
You're a great man thank you and God bless you
Where do you think the heat from the oil cooler in-front of the radiator is going? The air is heated as it goes through the oil cooler and then through the radiator. Some will pass through with the air but some will transfer to the radiator and the water/AF mix. Now you have three coolers in a row: water, AC, and oil and lots of heat to dissipate. I live here in phx az. Best product in the world did set me back 18k from labor to parts though. Remember you get what you pay for....
Xavier Perez What kinda truck you put it on?
Thank you Bill, great video!
VERY COOL VIDEO
Thank you bill..r.i.p we love you 🇺🇸
This is very informative, thanks!!
with this vet I hope he's using amsoil bumper to bumper to protect his truck in the long run

dam bill did you run into some dodge guys?
Love this freaking channel !!!
Bill working on your rig with Bullet Proof gear is the ultimate combo! How much for all that Bill?
Still need info on that step
What do i need for a 2010 6.4 & how much would it cost?
"Bad situation," you said; I think we call that FUBAR...
I thought the correct way to evacuate your R134 was to have a rock go through the condenser. At least that is what happened to me.
Don't know if it's still on there but there was a legit bulletproof F250 on ebay. Supposed to be bulletproof atleast.
Go Steelers!
What would shops do without the gem of an engine called the 6.0 powerstroke diesel? I bet that the shop I work at has made over a million dollars on the 6.0.

Buck Shot that shop is garbage
Glad you explained. I've been looking for this very video for the last couple weeks. I might have to buy an 05-07 from you. Agree. Steelers are lame haha.
I need the kit I’m a diesel mechanic in the army and will do it my self they just don’t sell the hole kit like you show
Damn dude , who hit ya
If you use aftermarket gaskets on your oil cooler it aint a oil cooler its an oil leaker
Damnit..thank you! That phrase drives me nuts. I have argued countless times with people especially on craigslist who say the truck is "bulletproof". They always think that headstuds and egr delete etc is "bulletproof" and its not. most are just ignorant.. but most are about as smart as a steering wheel on a train.
what was the total cost of parts? what would your labor time/ charge be for a package like that?
Love your vids bill keep up the good work still got a black eye.
Is this primarily on the 6.0? Bill you had said the 6.7 has been proven to be very reliable. Is there bullet proving or dearlerproofing on those?
