RSS just killed the game here ! I think they managed to bring what was missing in AC sounds till now : violence, brutality ! This is the new standard for this game !
This makes me hope that AC2 keeps this kind of functionality. The active modding community is the ONLY reason people are still playing it and buying it at the numbers they are today after a decade.
@@TeamSenke Maybe try less AI or lower graphics settings? AC can be a bit heavy, but I'm running a 9th gen i5 and 2060 and rarely get CPU 99% - I've got my settings all between medium and high. There are a lot of fixes when using content manager that lightens the load 👍
Awesome video! Yes, with CSP and Pure's developments over the years, the dynamic effects on the Lister display got lost, we have a resolution for the future update. Some of the sounds are already riding the game's volume limiter so when your transmission sound is set very high it pushes away some frequencies out of the mix. If you could please try setting Transmission in the Audio settings to ENGINE, it might help retain some of the dynamics of the audio. We'll add more edge to the Vortex and Shadow when the next changes roll out. Thank you as always Mike for your passion
Even though I own the pack myself, I've watched those first few seconds several times just to revel in the concise awesomeness! I've been unable to figure out, though, how you did them? The only way I know how to kill and restart the engine is by zeroing out the fuel on the 'before-drive' screen - is there some other way?
@@gregpugliese nope, you nailed it! I set fuel to 0, counted to five, then clicked it over to 1L of fuel and the engine kicked in. Then I captured the replay.
Whoever is doing their sound engineering needs to win some kind of award. The updated sounds are so good, the GT-M sounds I can't say enough about how accurate they are to being at the race in real life. I don't know how or where they're getting their recorded audio, especially for these older cars, but it's amazing.
I remember going to Mosport in the early 2000's and seeing the Viper's, Ferrari's, Saleen's, Aston's race. Surprised they haven't done the Corvette or the Porsche.

The startup sounds are something else. Can’t believe what this game has turned into. This mod pack is a true reflection of the culmination of the years of modding in ac. Edit: also, will you be review the new csp preview? Ilja has added a lot of amazing graphics and physics features.
Agreed on the first paragraph. What an amazing sim this has become. As for the latter, I’m not actually a paying member of Ilja’s CSP. I don’t really want to get into the reason, but I choose to enjoy only the free version. Once the updates you’ve noted become public, I’ll definitely take a look and share my thoughts if I find it interesting.
This is my favourite mod pack for Assetto. There is never a week when I don't race at least one of these cars and that's quite an achievement when they're about 4 years old (except the Aston). A great pack from a top quality modding team.
The pack came out in 2017, and is one of the all-time greats. Today I saw an update email and couldn't click fast enough. Hopefully in the future they can add extended CSP physics to bring the pack in line with the Adonis!
I love having track days with these, The Classic LMP cars from RSS, and VRC's prototypes from the same era. I could drive for hours in any of these cars.
To see these cars live was an uncanny experience when the Italian GT series visited the Hungaroring. We were able to go trackside getting almost deaf on day 1. Earplug was mandatory :D Eventho the loudest ive experienced was a Corvette C6R, ground was still shaking when the car was on the otherside of the straight. Damn these cars were awesome.
I pretty much respect your opinions so I bought this pack (I don't often buy addons for AC as there is so much good free stuff lol). I am not an expert racer so I am finding the handling a bit tricky but I really like them and I will get better! Thanks for the video
I only take a break from AMS2 and revisit original AC to play with RSS and VRC cars. These and the VRC super touring cars are my overall favorites out of thousands of mods
I completely agree. When people talk about the sounds of GT7 cars being the best, I feel like they fall well short of any of the offerings in this pack. Interesting to think that a small group of committed and passionate modders could outperform a major company like Sony/Polyphony
Your opinion on the Viper's sounds are very interesting. I have the exact opposite view and would even go so far as to say I thought the old Viper sounds were pretty awful. Let us know what you think if you do roll back to the old sounds.
If you watch RUclips videos on the Viper, the new audio is actually pretty on point to the real thing. I think he's probably just gotten used to how the old one sounded. It was too bassy though and the V10 was actually higher pitched than you'd think it would be for an 8 liter engine.

I'm gonna be honest here: I'm disappointed in both the not-Lister and the not-Murciélago R-GT external sounds. and here's why: -Lister: unlike the previous version, it now has the low growl of the V12. but on every videos I could find of it, the back side of the sound(when the car goes away), it gets the same sound as the Jaguar XJR-9. I call that one the mid-pitched V12 sound. that mid-pitched sound is completely gone on the Tornado, sadly -Murciélago R-GT: where is the damn octave scream? it now sounds like the 2010-2011 Murciélago R-SV with next to no octave scream... the original sound was much closer to the 2008-2009 IPB Spartak exhaust(the one on the model) Murciélago R-GT... but since they've based all the cars off of the 2004 season, even the IPB Spartak exhaust doesn't match the era...
Love the sounds of these cars. And looking @ the GT Ferruccio 55 V12 i see your window connects to the car. Mine is not. I installed the mod correctly, just as 1000 of other mods i use. Is there anything you did why your window has no gap or seems lose from the car? Nice video, keep up the good work. Followed you for a while but didn't subcribed untill today!
