9:43 While i am not entirely on board with a spec series, the idea of a league where only the older cars are allowed i.e (V12 Vantage, G3 Jag, Lexus, First Gen Audi R8 LMS etc) does very much appeal to me.

Why not break it down into actual championships/seasons, where you could only race the cars that actually competed in that specific championship in that specific year? (Idk if this is actually a thing or not, I haven't started playing the game yet)
@@recarsion when you play online any car can race against one another. So I made these two videos to cater to that aspect.
@@Bratmouse1 what I meant is why doesn't the game divide the cars by seasons? Then the older cars getting obsolete wouldn't be an issue.
@@recarsion in single player mode it does I believe. But online it’s a free for all lol
Yeah i really wish Kunos rework the bop on the older cars, it's a really effective way to add a lot more variety to the grid

I tried the V8 Vantage after watching this video. I beat my 911 992 PB around Nurburgring by 1.4s (one point four seconds!).
I'm still in shock, a bit. I got my first ever public lobby pole, went down to 7th by the third corner, and still won! What a machine. What. A. Machine.

@@Bratmouse1 I thought I had a handle on it. Evidently not. I was consistently 2 seconds slower than pole in public lobbies, I thought it was me. Turns out it was only 50% me 😅

Oh buddy… it’s my father in law, he put a Honda symbol on his bicycle, and his garage door! I make fun of him every time we go over!!! My dad is German so Japanese cars are a no go for him lol

10:28 a bit late, but the Lexus RC F does still race, it competes in IMSA in GTD and GTD Pro, and now also competes in WEC and at Le Mans in LMGT3, and is scheduled to be replaced in 2026, after 10 seasons of competition
Lexus is still very active in IMSA, in fact, it actually won the 2023 GTD Pro championship! It absolutely dominated this year and was amazing to watch
Yes when they repurpose cars to different series with different rules sets it gives them second lives

If they just added the world GT Asia DLC then we would get updated BOP on lexus as they still use it there and the corvette c8 and cool tracks like fuji

You said it buddy.. I dare you to drive the Nissan GTR GT3 in our Season 12 of Zealous Racing league. You said you would change in a heartbeat. The rules are in your favor. Don't drive the McLaren. :D

Lol I said if they would change the BOP. The BOP there changing for ZRL is just a guess on weight there was no real testing done lol. If they made an EVO and kept everything up to date (new gen turbo, and suspension etc…) I would do it for sure. Thanks Glen I appreciate the kind words!!
I started sim racing about 2 weeks ago and I realized that finding well explained videos for absolute beginners like me which where clear and easy to understand was really hard. I never really had interest in Motorsport before so the beginning is pretty rough but watching your videos helped me a lot to understand my mistakes just by watching you drive so thanks a lot for that! Also if you happen to see this comment which car would you recommend for a beginner like me with zero racing knowledge? My friend recommended the Audi but I find it pretty hard to drive like you said in the last video. I also really enjoyed driving the Ferrari 458 and the McLaren so I think I could enjoy driving mid engine cars like you
I’m glad there helping! The Ferrari 296 is probally the best. McLaren 720s evo is good too if you can handle the turbo kick at low revs. Stay away from the Audi

One tip for the Continental - change the dashboard. They have pretty cool graphics on the LCD display. Second one with the gauges is awesome.
In OG AC GTR GT3 is one of my favorites in terms of driving and feeling of the car and road :)

Ah, gtr. You really newd to under drive this for the best times. Doesn't like to be over revved, i love it. Its my main car. Really do need a set up, takes a while to get a good one, as when you change one this, the car doesn't like it haha! Nice vid.

BOP is supposed to make things fair for everyone, but it's not working. Strangely, Lexus has wins in IMSA (same class as ACC) in 2023, the Acura (Honda) has a win in WGTC America in 2023, and Godzilla has at least one second (Suzuka) this year as well in WGTC Asia. Thanks for the great comparison videos. Outstanding! BTW, I love spec series for there close racing.

Weird that the Vantage and the RCF aren't competitive in ACC but in real life the Lexus is easily one of tue most competitive cars in GT3, specifically IMSA because I don't watch any other GT3 series.
If they didn't have issues for both cars, Vasser Sullivan stood a serious chance at wining the Daytona 24hr yesterday.

Great vid, im looking for places to race besides LFM, any new race servers or what ever there called would be great, Im a half decent driver with times like, at Val low 1.31.2 , Kal 1.41.5, Zolder 1.28. 6 etc looking for good competition and clean drivers, fellow Canadian Kingston Ont

Can u do video about base and agressive setups? İ think acc setups are terrible. U must use esport setup or good setup if u can find it.

There is also video on how to tune esports setups which can also help in tuning aggressive setups if you apply it in a opposite way
@@Bratmouse1 iracing BAset setups are mega. So good for every drivers. So competitive. But acc so sadly. Understeer, oversteer setups :)
@@kahveseker as good as ACC is. It definitely has a few flaws also
I appreciate these videos, but I think that in order to compare apples to apples, you should have tested all the vehicles at the same track, using either the Safe or Aggressive preset.
Love this got cheap wheel on xbox one love ac and got project cars 2 and forza motorsport 7 can't get seeing right yet on ac I ether spiout on corners or struggle to hit corners will not make it like I can with project cars 2 maybe settings or cheap steering wheel thrustmaster 458 spider repaired wheel of comon fault want direct drive wheel later moza r3 great price bundle not available till December love your chanel

Thanks buddy! It could be a possibility. I don’t really race the GT4s because there isn’t much in online interest in lobbies. And the BOP is sooo bad in the GT4s so people aren’t interested. Which is unfortunate.
@@Bratmouse1 i respectfully disagree. While gt4 is not raced as class, they are much used in multiclass championships. Im in one right now, the jimmy broadbent 2.4h series.
The lack of interest outside of that is indeed unfortunate, also from Kunos, as they brought it out and in my oppinion now let them wither.

I started sim racing this week and didnt want to play an "old" game. So i decided to buy acc bc i will get ac 2 in the future too. In my opinion the only "problem" is the same like the f1. Lack of content bc its just one race series with one kind of car. I tried starting in the career mode where you have ti drive the huracan st. I mean the game even says: its an difficult car. After 2 hours i where completly frustrated. So i searched for beginner tipps. Now i am driving bc of fanboy the nissan and i am incredible happy. The only thinf the simracing needs in my opinion are two things. A WEC focused game, and an official game for the vln. Its thr best series of all time. From driving just for fun in the lowest classes against thr heavy gt3. That is a complete another feeling compared to a race series where everyone is driving similar cars
Edit: yes the gt story was one of the things i am big nissan fan. It started when jann came into the vln. A man without his fatal crash the most wouldnt remmeber of
Unfortunately the single player mode is lacking. But once you get into Online communities like LFM or you find a league that you can call home the enjoyment factor will multiply.
@@Bratmouse1 as a Person WHO dont have a Driver license in reallife i have a big Lack of experience. So the Time i need before I Go Info Multiplayer..... I mean in the Story Mode which i played again in the Last hour, Monza at night i needed 12 rounds to get a legal time BC the Car Always oversteered
The boatly is definitely my favourite it might be forgotten but i still run it in the racing league I'm in and i regularly in the top 20
“The Boatley” I love it!! A friend of mine is able to still get the bentley into the 59s at Bathurst. So it’s still an option for us common folks! 😂
@@Bratmouse1 Ive never taken it to Bathurst (skill issue) but at zolder i can get a 1.36.506 in the 2018 version of the car

Love these videos, been driving the lexus since 2019 and im trying to step away from it because its not competitive on the current patch. The best finish i got in a league i race in with the Lexus was 5th at Watkins Glen and that was a nearly perfect race. I did manage to win one at Spa in the car pre patch, but i think the patch really kicked it while it was already down. Which car would you recommend as a replacement for the Lexus? My guess would be Aston but i have been enjoying the Porsche recently. Anyway keep up the great stuff!
Thanks for the kind words! It depends if you want to stick with front engine? If you do I would probably go with the AMG or BMW M4. If your open to something completely different I think the Lambo is the best all around car right now. But then that is just my opinion! Good luck! I’m using the Mclaren for my upcoming season!

My only complaint about the video is the fact you asked kunos after their licence expires to ignore irl bop for "FUN" well i get that some cars are ignored and are therefore no longer viable i still prefer the cars to be realistic so if its running a 1:36.55 and its supposed to be running a 1:37-1:38 then its just unrealistic asf but thats why i love acc is its a sim so yeah things may seem unfair at first espeically BoP and as a noob i know first hand how that can be like for example i loved the nismo when i started as im a fan of jann mardenbrough but the car just felt like hot dogwater espeically on controller yet i hop on the honda nsx and sure im not running competitive lap times (i run a 1:56.339) with it at monza but the car feels good like she feels stable and yes she misses out on some corners but she makes up for it on corner exit and straightaways

New cars feel a little twitchy to me. Older cars feel more compliant.
That’s a new one interesting? Because the newer cars have more downforce. But they are also significantly faster.

Funny how yesterday i commented that i hated the nismo as i loved it in other games and due to jann mardenbrough but the game made it feel like crap but today ive gone in and decided to practice with it and just kept doing laps and i actually was able to land a 1:55.799 which is mu fastest lap yet at monza dont know if its actually fast though as the lap times i can find are like a year or more old runnijg like 1:40s and i could never
@@thesweetteasystem1108 You’ll get there. It takes time. My best 1:46.8 in the McLaren. But the fastest guys in the game are running 1:45s which is bananas. Keep going have fun with it.
@@Bratmouse1 yeah ive actually been learning things and i got my lap time down from a 1:56 to a 1:54 which to me feels crazy as i didnt think i could get more pace out of the car however i will ask do you know any track guide you could recommend that would be up to date that may help as most track guides i find are about a year old and the games changed since then
@@thesweetteasystem1108 I don’t sorry. Your best bet is just to watch videos of people doing fast times and just study each corner and try to improve one corner at time

AS big Fan of exotic Cars i am really sad that the Game Features Just one Race series. And Not Other gt than 3 and 4. This means: No koenigsegg, No Bugatti(where i am Not Sure If they have GT Cars), Ford which is exotic today...... But the Car i dream the Most of driving IT sometime anywhere IS the scg003. James Said He will come Back to gt BC the Project scg007 is dead. And the Corvette. Maybe the Corvette comes 2024 BC IT comes Back to the vln so maybe in the Grad Too.
Where could I find good setups for all cars in ACC?
The two go tos are “Go Setups” or Hymo
I bought setup bundle for mclaren 720s gt3 evo from Hymo 2 weeks ago and i'm really impressed with it. But u will need some time so adapt, cuz compared to aggresive preset it's 1000 times better, car is rotating as hell, little bit oversteery but it's so predictable. On default aggresive preset i was on brakes in turn to make car turn, while on Hymo i just lift a little bit and go flat. Worth every penny, i wanted to sell all my sim racing gear cuz i was frustated on aggresive setup, car was undriveble. Now i'm really enjoying racing and not thinking about setup. I hope so that my text helped you decide. Cya on track 🙋
Wish more series like WEC and SRO were running the Lexus. I don’t understand why not. It’s my favorite car in IMSA, and it’s doing well there.
I’m new to ACC so idk if they try to bop the cars to the real world specs, but I think they should keep all in-game cars usable with a competitive bop at all times. Otherwise, what’s the point in having them? Is that too much to ask?
I agree with you. But maybe it has to do with that they don’t have Factory/manufacturer support. That’s the problem with games that try to be “real”

Players flock to this game because of immersion and realism. If you make all cars equal that's not real at all. Nah that will actually kill this game.. Just my opinion.
So many peoples issues with the game is how un equal the cars are. LFM has recognized this and is working hard to to create a much more equal BOP. Lets see how that plays out. But I do get what your saying. Thannks for the comment!

Are the GT3 cars not covered not currently viable? I just have the base game and coming over from GT7/FM I'm not sure where to start as a beginner/intermediate with Fanatec DD/LC setup
There is a part 2 of the video that covers the other cars. But with the new LFM BOP it’s brought some cars back to life
@@Bratmouse1 I could be wrong but think you mostly covered DLC cars when there were similar models. Are the 2018 Ferrari 488 GT3 and 2015 McLaren 650s competitive? Would learning those cars transfer over to the newer models (Ferrari 296, 488 Evo, 720S, 720S Evo)?
@@AnomieDomine if your brand new I guess it won’t make much of a difference. But if you want to race online you will need the newest cars. I would reccomend getting the latest ones and then pick a car and practice with it.

The Ferrari 296 is the easiest car to drive right now. Maybe try that one!
