The Modpack can be found on THR Racing's site below! Some folks are reporting their anti-virus is detecting the file as a threat. I didn't have this issue when I installed/reviewed the mod over the past few weeks, but maybe something has changed.
I have asked Bazza and Co and they believe its a false positive because of some of the custom scripting in the cars or the file compression.
I am not technical enough to verify this, so please do what you need to ensure the file meets your security standards, and contact the AC Legends team/THR Racing if you have any questions
EDIT: THR have updated the link to a ‘rar’ version which does not falsely report a Trojan

Additional info: the repacked .RAR archive came directly from Bazza, and THR re-linked that archive on the website instead of the .7z at Bazza's request. The .RAR also contains 2 more accurately recreated real-life historic paintjobs (906 "#17 Mosport" by Pasta & Iso Grifo "#1 Chevrolet" by Ben Nash) alongside a small fix in the readme PDF.

My shop mentor, Frank, loves Isos! He restored 2 in the early 90s for Pebble Beach, he's got pictures of Piero Rivolta and Giotto Bizzarrini in the shop checking details! Not at the same time though, apparently they hated each other so much that when one was inside, the other would wait outside the doors until he was gone! There's an amazing book about Iso by Winston Goodfellow, it's very expensive now but it's an incredible read.

This video has such a Top Gear/ Grand Tour vibe to it Jake! The great contrast between using high quality voice overs to introduce and provide context, compared to the more raw Headset mic adding to that 'In-car' experience. Such an underrated RUclipsr when it comes to quality and variety.

Nice!!! What a surprise to see some of my skins in there. A bit sad to not have my name in the thanks section in the Read me doc but just to know I contributed to this gives me a big load of pride. Just to be more precise, I did the Ford GT40 MK2 Sebring 2, 3 and 4 skins initialy for the ACTK mod which was surely used by the WSC Legends team. I just took a quick test drive of the Shelby Daytona to compare to the previous version, which was already one of my three favorite cars.
    but... uh argghhghhh
    Just amazing ^^
the FFB is absolutely fantastic, crazy work, exceptional feedback in the hands, finesse but also all the power available, without ever saturating my crappy G29! I imagine what it must be like with a direct drive!
the behavior of the car is exceptional, the feeling incredible...
    What a wonderful job!
    The sounds are also grandiose.
    Stunning Mod...
I imagine I'll love the rest too (I'm posting this after only 2 laps of the spa66 in a quick race race with the whole field in Shelby Daytona, she instantly shocked me! lol!).
For me it is indeed the most important mod in the history of vintage simracing.

I have no words from a Le Mans/WSC Golden Era Fanatic that is both historian in real life for the sake of the Epic and Legendary History behind, inside and upon these sportcars AND as AC Racer/Modder. I am... speechless. I can say just...
Thank the AC chaps that made all this become a (virtual) reality. A great Chap as well (pun intended and SO LONG AWAITED. Already tried to do a proper one in collab but I did what I could, but... well, that is on another level).
Even if not mine, my greatest hope you will all enjoy this marvelous sign that a great portion of my beloved community of AC SIM Modders, Devs and Racers in general is finally opening their eyes to the a World that I have always deeply loved from the bottom of my heart from my childhood on, and to appreceate it even more, even with a virtual experience that only Assetto Corsa can deliver to a car guy, maybe pushing yourself to have even a slight intrest to go more in depth in the incredible and magic stories behind these marvelous sportcars. It is a gift for me and all the ones like me. You cannot create such things without having enough passion. Therefore:
    From here, now, and ever:

That looks like the Maserati Tipo 151/3 (T153) to be precise. Sadly, Lloyd "Lucky" Casner was killed at the Le Mans Test in 1965 while at the wheel of the Tipo 151/4 (T154).
Maserati's last and wildest classic Sports Prototype was the Tipo 65.
I suspect the Maserati 450S was able to break 300 km/h back in 1957.
Concurrent with the Tipo 151, the Aston Martin DP215 was also quite fast on the Mulsanne.
I think she's plenty fast, and you're having way too much fun there.
Yeah, the Nissan is a sweet looker, and I'm sure the handling is no less wonderful.
Definitely go take a look at the Ecurie Ecosse LM69, really an homage to the XJ-13.
Actually, from what I'm seeing with just a quick search, the Maserati is heavier.
I checked the site, but could I please get a full list of the cars included? Thank you.

Doesn't look so, looks way better, much more professional modeling, a lot cleaner and with better finishing. Sound also doesn't seem to be from it. The next question would be physics, I hope they are good, I have never driven a single Bazza & CO car, but in some episodes that I have seen they appear to be moving quite well, having good dynamics..
On the second look there appears to be some mesh poking through at the rear, and soem possible UV/normals issue at bottom of the front. The wiper looks so good, definitely not like mine.
Looks like it lacks rimblur, of which I remember had some small issue.

If I remember correctly (50/50) the Type 151 still had Deion rear suspension, regarded as outdated even at that time.

The real car changed a lot from 1962 to its end at LM Test Day 1965 and this one is a bit of a mix of 63-65 parts. I believe they replaced it in '64 but this mod still has it; Kunis/Stefano put the work into making it possible for the 250F so had to be used!

    Hello Jake.
    Incredible video as usual.
    Your quality is top notch.
Can i ask something is not related to the mod itself?
Which is the model of your sequential shifter and the handbreak ?
    Thanks

The Maserati Tipo 151 Looks sorta like if someone stepped on the Ferrari "Breadvan".

    • @jcgabriel1569
      @jcgabriel1569 Год назад

That's because they modeled the Tipo 151 that was rebodied by Piero Drogo, who had a hand in redesigning the Ferrari 250 SWB that would later become known as the Breadvan.

This is why Assetto corsa is the all time best sim out there.
I hope AC2 will have mods. How can it not.......

love your vids. my only suggestion/request is that you wind out the engines like the jaguar to its shift point, which is above 7600 since the horsepower peak is at 7600 rpm

If AC2 doesn’t allow mods it’ll be dead on arrival in my eyes. Stuff like this is just wonderful.

Outstanding preview! Bazza and his boys always put out a quality product. What’s that adapter you have on your CSL-DD? I’d love to have a “classic wheel” on mine like that.
