I've seen the Tipo 151 in real life. It's a very cool creation. Glad these cars are finally receiving the attention they deserve (the Iso/Bizzarrini as well).
My shop mentor, Frank, loves Isos! He restored 2 in the early 90s for Pebble Beach, he's got pictures of Piero Rivolta and Giotto Bizzarrini in the shop checking details! Not at the same time though, apparently they hated each other so much that when one was inside, the other would wait outside the doors until he was gone! There's an amazing book about Iso by Winston Goodfellow, it's very expensive now but it's an incredible read.
Beautiful. This video breaks my heart; I spent some of the best days of my youth at Riverside Raceway. My last time there was an autumn day in tbe mid-1970s with weather much like your video. Doesn't look so, looks way better, much more professional modeling, a lot cleaner and with better finishing. Sound also doesn't seem to be from it. The next question would be physics, I hope they are good, I have never driven a single Bazza & CO car, but in some episodes that I have seen they appear to be moving quite well, having good dynamics.. @@mantasisganaitis2281are you the legend Mantastig himself? If so, thanks for everything you brought to AC, your XJ13 was one of the main drives for me to get AC in the first place. The XJ13 model here is a conversion of different parts from other models but nothing from yours. Check out Lucas' animation in the engine bay. The sound is custom, done by FFF789 (see also the GT40 and Shelby Daytona). Good spot on the mapping issue; this was a preview build and that's fixed in the release.
Bazza's mods are incredible. These models exist, but were not that good. Excited to try a good GT40 mk2, and that Chaparral. This sim is looking so good with the latest Pure version. The readme contains some Easter eggs of upcoming 70s era sportscars.
Been grinding these out for a while now! I hate text editing in notepad but it always ends up being worth it after a solid championship with the AI haha
The real car changed a lot from 1962 to its end at LM Test Day 1965 and this one is a bit of a mix of 63-65 parts. I believe they replaced it in '64 but this mod still has it; Kunis/Stefano put the work into making it possible for the 250F so had to be used!
Hello Jake. Incredible video as usual. Your quality is top notch. Can i ask something is not related to the mod itself? Which is the model of your sequential shifter and the handbreak ? Thanks
That's because they modeled the Tipo 151 that was rebodied by Piero Drogo, who had a hand in redesigning the Ferrari 250 SWB that would later become known as the Breadvan.
love your vids. my only suggestion/request is that you wind out the engines like the jaguar to its shift point, which is above 7600 since the horsepower peak is at 7600 rpm
Outstanding preview! Bazza and his boys always put out a quality product. What’s that adapter you have on your CSL-DD? I’d love to have a “classic wheel” on mine like that.

@@mantasisganaitis2281 I still have yours installed, always enjoyed driving it and trying to get a handle on it.
It looks gorgeous - but it's actually the post-crash body and so is the wrong version. The 'race' XJ13 was quite different.
Excellent video as always
love your channel sir
Those beautiful machines sound absolutely spectacular
Thanks for the d/l links, Jake. Now I can recreate your upcomming Monza100k race in AC👌.
amazing mod and worthy video to showcase - thanks both
Amazing. I can't wait to download this tomorrow. Great editing and narration as always.
What size monitors are you using?
Amazing cars and a lovely video!
I'm here because of a recommendation from JIMMY BROADBENT, and you, sir, did not disappoint. Easy sub 👌
If I remember correctly (50/50) the Type 151 still had Deion rear suspension, regarded as outdated even at that time.
The real car changed a lot from 1962 to its end at LM Test Day 1965 and this one is a bit of a mix of 63-65 parts. I believe they replaced it in '64 but this mod still has it; Kunis/Stefano put the work into making it possible for the 250F so had to be used!
"something I could spend hours making videos about all 18 cars"
Yes please
An era of pure raw racing and innovation, awesome!!
Hello Jake.
Incredible video as usual.
Your quality is top notch.
Can i ask something is not related to the mod itself?
Which is the model of your sequential shifter and the handbreak ?
Thanks
Sure thing! they are the Heusinkveld Mag Shift and Handbrake heusinkveld.com/shop/shifters-handbrakes/
Please do some races in some of these cars, they are so elegantly designed and deserve to be showcased!
The Maserati Tipo 151 Looks sorta like if someone stepped on the Ferrari "Breadvan".
That's because they modeled the Tipo 151 that was rebodied by Piero Drogo, who had a hand in redesigning the Ferrari 250 SWB that would later become known as the Breadvan.
This is why Assetto corsa is the all time best sim out there.
I hope AC2 will have mods. How can it not.......
love your vids. my only suggestion/request is that you wind out the engines like the jaguar to its shift point, which is above 7600 since the horsepower peak is at 7600 rpm
thanks a lot! just amazing
Really good video. I'm really curious about what mods you're using to make AC look this good.
I've been waiting for this.
Whenever I see something like this I give let out a good Jezza "Yeeessssssssss"
Cinematography at it's best
The obscure Shelby Daytona is my favourite best looking car. I've got a 1/18 diecast model of it and drive it regularly in assetto corsa ❤
Thougths on the deep sanderson 301?
A entry level le mans racer that someone could even build from scratch today
If AC2 doesn’t allow mods it’ll be dead on arrival in my eyes. Stuff like this is just wonderful.
In gt7 i can see some of those, but not the gt40 mk2 😢
This is so beautiful
Outstanding preview! Bazza and his boys always put out a quality product. What’s that adapter you have on your CSL-DD? I’d love to have a “classic wheel” on mine like that.
This is Fanatec's "Classic" rim mounted to the podium hub!
WOW gotta have it ty GP👍✌️
cool video! unfortunately I can’t download the archive, chrome says that a virus has been detected in it = (
Same here
I have seen a GT40 racing at Lakeside in Queensland , Australia
