I just had to do that also on a brand new 2021 EFI 250. Screen in fuel pump was plugged, injector plugged. I was getting a blast of fuel/power at low rpm's and sputtering at high rpm. I hot wired my injector open with a 9v battery, then sprayed it with carb cleaner. Made it run a lot better but Im still buying a new fuel filter and injector since they are cheap. They had shitty gas on testing the engine from factory, and it sat in there on shipping.
Wonder if it is the ethanol fuel, I think on all new bikes they are using the lowest quality ethanol fuel and it sits and ruins everything. Would be my guess on it, could be wrong but I bet this is way more common on even the big 4 brands. The price on the fuel injector is not bad, I think KTM parts are less expensive than the big 4.
Blowing the cleaner in opposite direction of the fuel flow will allow liquid threw. I’ve used a 9volt battery with wire leads in past to open injector when blowing in direction of standard fuel flow. Bike is running good now!
Good vid, can you confirm that there is only one o ring on the throttle body side of the injector, and 2 on the fuel rail side? Mine is a '18 500, but they all appear the same. I think there is a printing error in the microfiche
Replace all of them o-rings as well - still the KTM 350 is the ultimate bike just AWESOME the big 4 seem to be flat lined on any new bikes. Guessin they will be spending money on battery powered shopping karts.
How on earth did you get the injector out? On my 2015 husqvarna fe 501 it seems you have to remove the whole air boot/sub frame. Am I missing something? It's locked in directly under the main stem of the frame.
Your bike would definitely be laid out differently compared to the ‘21, it’s been a while, I don’t remember removing complete air boot/box. I may have removed top subframe bolts & loosened the lower bolts, so it could be tilted rearward slightly. I’ll have to look at it tomorrow.
Just smashed the sensor plug off my fuel injector riding singles, thanks for the vid!
Thanks for watching! That sucks!

I had to put an injector in my ‘17 350 also after a few hours. You nailed it with factory test run gas screwing them up!
Pretty underrated video!

If I'm not mistaken the injector needs electricity to open up to allow fluid to pass through it

"m t" on his 350 will never beat "m t" on his 450.
Is it ok to use brake clean in to the injectior?
Or is it only carb clean that vill work?
I’m not saying it’s ok, I have used both, just do it at your own risk.
I got a ktm duke 690. The black little rubber is a little bit damaged, is thats maybe a reason why it cuts off sometimes?
It’s possible, could be something in fuel system (pump or filter) or electrical ground or coil.

Could you mention about the symptom please. Have some video ?
I had an erratic idle & it would stall occasionally when pulling clutch in while riding.
