Elden Ring is an action role-playing game played in a third-person perspective with gameplay focusing on combat and exploration aswell as pvp and rpg elements; it features elements similar to those found in other games developed by FromSoftware, such as the Souls series, Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and other soulslike games. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki explained that players start with a linear opening but eventually progress to freely explore the Lands Between, including its six main areas, as well as castles, fortresses, and catacombs scattered throughout the open world map. And with a lore deeper than the abyss of hell aswell as ost better than any other.

@@jnmarshmello2728might be an good idea, using op builds is cool, but i find builds which atleast let the bosses do something more interresting, one method is to just become a tank with everything that doesnt require alot of weight like shield or armor in that case the fights will be alot easier but still fights(or do a Challenge run)

Is the DLC radahn meteor weaker than base game ?
No ... His tank armor can withstand meteor strikes like it's nothing
Divine fortification, Baldachin's blessing (both variants) and Boiled Crab are all body buffs and get overridden by Ironjar aromatic, so the setup would be exactly the same just using Bestial Vitality, Vow and Ironjar.
Holy ground also only works if you stay within the sigil, and while the sigil DOES peak through the fog wall a bit, you leave the range before you get to the boss.
Dragon's blessing is an Aura buff which overrides Golden Vow. I understand vow might not have lasted long enough for phase 2 and it has slightly more damage negation, but for a build like this you're better off having the damage golden vow provides, so you could've just refreshed vow/ironjar and called it a day.
This is still a good build so don't take this as criticism, not everybody knows all the buff stacking rules, but you can pull this setup off with a lot less buffing and resources

I actually thought the video was going to be a joke of the sorts: he applies all those buffs which will override or run out just to die shortly after. The result was surprising, to the very least. I'm going to take a page or two of both your comment and the video.

Dragon form boosts dragon incantations. It can be good for incantation one-shot builds, but not for tank
@@david_difference Fair enough, I ultimately decided to use a tank build on Consort with a shield and Mohg Spear and then went back to dragon, makes me wonder if I could beat consort with a full power dragon build or perish trying, big question was Dragon Maw or Bayle’s flame lightning?
@@diegocantu9853 I recommend trying to use some fast things, because punishing windows are very short, actually very problematic boss for any challenge runs

@@diegocantu9853 I plan on doing this but with the Spinning Strikes Ash of War, a helicopter-tank build vs Radahn 😂 I also want to test this build against every main boss of the DLC, so most probably Bayle the Dread will be included. However, I'm sure it won't be as efficient as it is against humanoid bosses.

Watched the video and remember when I used Havel set and shield to tank all hit in Four kings boss fight in Dark souls 1. Feel so good back then.

This sums up the issues I have with this boss. I mastered phase one, spend hours trying to learn the roll timing for phase two, but ultimately said screw it and just shield-poked to victory.
They were making shields almost useless vs every next game's "hardest boss" but on this one shield strat is probably the best
