Amazing tutorial. Much better, and more strategically planned than most. Also extremely respectful of the viewer's time.
Plus the way you added the suggested alternative commands. I've never found another tutorial that is so considerate. Thanks so much!

Best of luck! I hope it supports you to produce your best work! My biggest piece of advice to you is to not lose sight of what an ambitious undertaking it is to learn all this. This software can be a bit intimidating sometimes so don't lose sight of how good it will be to have the extensive skillset to model, fabricate, render and document with an extremely high level of skill by the time you finish working your way through this tutorial. Let me know how it goes!

Using rhino 7, Had a problem at 1:17:32 while extruding, extrusion in a normal direction is getting difficult to do...are you using arrow keys to give it the direction as in what axis it has to be extruded, cause you said " extrusion in 'normal' direction. Didn't get it...cause I see in rhino 7 only X Y Z directions to extrude in, no normal option is there, everytime I am doing extrusion its getting extruded in any other direction. And it would be great to see you next time if you come up with some more videos like these. And it will be great if you can arrange to enable the option where whatever icon you type on is visible on screen too.

Hi, in Rhino 7, you can extrude SubD faces in the direction of their normals using the ExtrudeSubDFace command. This command provides an option to extrude faces along their individual normals, which should achieve the effect you're looking for. Let me know if that fixes the problem. Thanks for the feedback and hope this was useful!

Hi, perhaps try extruding a selection of only half (or less) of the surfaces at once and see if that works.
