One trick that saves me a lot of time is for manipulating an object, say a cube, if you want to manipulate only one face on it, just control shift click on the face and you’re able to edit the single face of an object
You saved me from constantly trying to see if there is an "m2p" command from AutoCad in Rhino by showing the "between" command. Also, I guess it wasn't available in Rhino when you made this video, but now you can also maximize viewports with ctrl+f1/f2/f3/f4. Each one of them is for different viewports.
Those are some great shortcuts. Thanks for the video. Another way to to use the mid point between two points is using the Smart track. Hold the mouse on a first point. then on the second point, when you see the two white temporary points, move the mouse near the mid point and it will snap so you can click on it. Also works if you dont have a second point to hold the mouse, is this case, Hold the mouse on the first point, then choose your second point anywhere and click control to create a temporary second point and then move the mouse near the mid point, it will also snap. Cheers
Thanks for the tips they were great. The between command is genius! I can't even count the amount of time I've done exactly what you did with the multiple guide lines only to then create the line I actually wanted. Gonna save me sooo much time!
ZS is my magic command. I tried to find something similar in other softwares that I need to use at university and I only found it in Revit by selecting the object I want to make axis of rotation
yo Archi Hacks! this is gold. question: is it posible to make the F keys toggle the Osnap's outside of a comand? when i do the steps you show, it will only turn off or on the near feature IF the near is unsellected before starting a "picking points"-comand. Thanks
It's not about the speed of production. It's about the quality of translation between the hand drawn idea and the vectorial representation of such drawing using Rhino 7 and Grasshopper. The way we translate from hand drawn to 3D is the key success. Speed will come later for better accuracy. imo...

Oh man, that's a great tip!!
It also works with edges. Great tip
🤯🤯Blew my mind, ive been wishing for this all along and it existed
For me. Select object - invert. Best command when just editing something specific in a bigger project
That between command is top tier

You are the best. Greetings to you from Morocco

Great tutorial, will be using these shortcuts!
i used Ctrl+w very often, now will try near and between with F3 and F4, also use F5 and F6 for points on and off
Between command works by holding Shift key while in command to get temp snap options.
Although manual mentions Ctrl key instead.
and then theres me using german keyboard basically using ctrl-y as undo all my life hahaha
Awesome need similar vid!!
This is quite helpful and clear. Thank you.
thank you for you great video! the Between comand is nuts!
awesome... thanks
"ay-lee-us-sus"
I have been waiting for this video, thank you and if you have anything similar why not make a video about it
Awesome Tutorial!
Thanks for Between. Shame it doesn't work on the line currently being drawn..
Thanks!!
Welcome!
I had no idea you could chain commands and I've been using rhino for so long. 😂
ctrl+M is already set to MaxViewport
This video is becoming outdated :')

okay when I typed CV, it do not work immediately but shows on the command bar first, which I have to click enter. Is that because of new version?
Possibly! Did you create the alias exactly as shown? You might have to add the "enter" as a part of the alias
how to do under the shortcut or hotkey in the rhino project to plane
y como puedo exportar estos comandos a otro ordenador?
What is the difference between using osnap with project on and off?
Project will send your clicks to the bottom of your CPlane!

Question: does rhino really doesn’t have education license?
You can get a big discount if you are a student or a faculty!
its 195 euro for life if you are a student instead of 1000
