Japanese ver. has the main theme for the first stage and last stage. And picking up moai or brain golem (gradius series) for first stage always leads you to the main boss instead of sub-boss

The new girl Azucena seems interesting but annoying. They Should bring Bruce back since Josie was just nice to look at but not really a interesting fighter.
