- Tournament Mode Playthrough with Niiki. Tournament Mode is basically this games Story Mode. Game Intro, Niiki's Ending and Game Credits Included. Set on Highest 'Hard' Difficulty. Alright, what to say about this game...Simply put it's quite Bad with rough movement, input delay and doing combos can be really annoying. However not everything about it is terrible and I honestly think it had a lot of potential. The Music is actually quite good, some tracks better than others and characters design is also decent-ish. Space Themed fighting games are something I like but this messes up in the gameplay department. Still give it a go for yourself to see how it plays😎
Dark Rift is a 3D fighting video game for the Nintendo 64, notable for being the first N64 game to use 60 frames per second. It has been referred to as the Nintendo 64's first native fighting game, though in actuality it started development as a Sega Saturn game. In addition, it was originally announced that the Microsoft Windows version of the game would precede the Nintendo 64 version by one month.

My gosh, You actually made this game look good from your gameplay. 🤯I know first hand how bad this game is gameplay wise mostly the controls and doing attacks. Thanks for playing this as it holds some warm nostalgia memories for me😁

This game man, I cannot believe this but holds pretty well for a Fighting N64 game and a 3D one (Yes, I had it back in the Day), also Nikii is the most OP character in the game, with good damage, speed, and moves, Demitron and Sonork are good but if you master Niiki, you got it all.
Edit: Another cool detail is that the character models for the 1P and 2P (Also the CPU) are different, slightly but most noticeable in the character selection screen with different arts for each

There's a lot I like about this game, but the controls and the fact combos are like 2 hits long for real at best hurt it quite severely. Its unfortunate as I like the game's soundtrack, the characters have good backstories and unique fighting styles for how little story this game has all in all. I like that the attack animations are motion captured and the graphics are about a 7/10 for an early 3D game (but still outclassed by any other fighters of the era imo).
If this game just had more polished controls and more hitstun for combos to actually work properly, you'd easily have an underrated gem that may have even warranted a 3rd game with Expansion Pak support. Great playthrough either way though!

@Steventhe2nd • I don't mind, I could do Eve or any of those you mentioned the next time I get around playing this game. If I'm honest though, it wont be anytime soon since there are a lot of other fighting games already planned and on their way
