The US did this girl wrong by body shaming her when she tried to get an international career in LA. So that's the reason why she's not famous worldwide yet, which is super sad since Molly is so talented. I'm glad though that she sings in Swedish since Swedish singers, producers, songwriters etc. has made pop music for American record labels for decades but rarely gotten any credit for it. Molly totally deserves all the recognition she's gotten from Netflix and I'm so happy for her!❤️🇸🇪
LA was the wrong place to go, although all of America is self-centered (but LA more so. All about the image). It's really sad, her voice is absolutely amazing, as well as her look! By the way, have you watched the clip on youtube, from when the only time Molly actually competed in eurovision? It was in junior-eurovision 2006, and Molly was 14 years old. She ended up in 3rd place, despite beeing sick. They (her crew), had been out eating in Bukarest Romania (where the competition was held), and she got food-poitioning. Right before her performance, she was head down in an toilet, spewing her guts out, and her only thought was "don't ruin the dress!!" It was in junior-eurovision 2006, and Molly was 14 years old.
She ended up in 3rd place, despite beeing sick.
They (her crew), had been out eating in Bukarest Romania (where the competition was held), and she got food-poitioning.
Right before her performance, she was head down in an toilet, spewing her guts out, and her only thought was "don't ruin the dress!!"
She told the full story last week in a podcast with Swedish Music journalist: Fredrik Strage, here in Sweden!
