Jag är en gammal farbror som gillar den här låten. Det visar två saker, vi som är gamla kan också känna igen oss i texten, vi har gått igenom samma saker, men det visar också för er unga att det går att ta sig vidare, att inte behöva trampa sand hela tiden. Någonstans på vägen kommer livet att bli lättare, ja troligtvis bättre, och att det alltid lönar sig att kämpa på. Sanden kan bli till fast mark.

The US did this girl wrong by body shaming her when she tried to get an international career in LA. So that's the reason why she's not famous worldwide yet, which is super sad since Molly is so talented. I'm glad though that she sings in Swedish since Swedish singers, producers, songwriters etc. has made pop music for American record labels for decades but rarely gotten any credit for it. Molly totally deserves all the recognition she's gotten from Netflix and I'm so happy for her!❤️🇸🇪
LA was the wrong place to go, although all of America is self-centered (but LA more so. All about the image). It's really sad, her voice is absolutely amazing, as well as her look! My dad defiantly would have loved & promoted her. He tended to go after talent when he was a music producer in NYC, like he did for Meatloaf. I wish he could have heard her before he died...

Molly tried getting an American career going, but all the people in Los Angeles said she had to lose weight and wanted to decide her image for her, so she gave up and went back to Sweden and started doing music with Swedish lyrics instead :)
In LA Molly also co wrote the Jason Derulo hit song Stupid Love. But the fact that she co wrote the song were stolen from her. It took years until she got credit for her participation of making the song.
Yeah shallow LA sucks for that very reason. I am glad she didn’t give in. I wish more Americans would listen to music they seek out themself and not what is on the radio being forced down out throats. Molly’s voice is better than most American pop stars right now. And she is beautiful.

Alltså shit. Den här låten är magisk. Det bästa jag någonsin hört på svenska. Hon sjunger den perfekt och det hesa i hennes röst ger mig ryssningar i hela kroppen varje gång. Så stark låt. Jag lyssnar i princip aldrig på svensk musik vanligtvis och är lagd åt det elektroniska hållet men efter att jag hörde denna på radio en dag så blev jag helt hänförd av hennes röst. Djupt imponerad. Denna låt berör mig vilket inte många andra låtar lyckas med.

By the way, have you watched the clip on youtube, from when the only time Molly actually competed in eurovision?
It was in junior-eurovision 2006, and Molly was 14 years old.
She ended up in 3rd place, despite beeing sick.
They (her crew), had been out eating in Bukarest Romania (where the competition was held), and she got food-poitioning.
Right before her performance, she was head down in an toilet, spewing her guts out, and her only thought was "don't ruin the dress!!"
She told the full story last week in a podcast with Swedish Music journalist: Fredrik Strage, here in Sweden!
