Years ago I spent many hours, trespassing I guess, on power line roads on my four wheeler. I’m glad no one ever called the law on me. Maybe it’s just my area but I only saw other four wheelers, dirt bikes, and power company crews or grass cutters out there and I’ve even stopped and talked to theme a few times, never got scolded about being there by anyone. Usually I was alone out there so not riding crazy fast or reckless, if I took a break, I took my trash with me, and there were only a few houses near these roads so I wasn’t bothering anyone with noise. Most of these access roads are in fair shape but down in the low areas with water, or some rocky areas they can be challenging. Just a good place to ride.
Hard times! But, when you find an auto in spot like that it could be anything. Be careful! Yes there's good people in bad situations but there's also a lot of bad out there! You did the right thing by not showing her and that proves your ok!👍👍You have a ❤for people!
KID, you have lots of issues down there with trespassers. Since you never know what you bump into, for your own health and preservation, I hope you're carrying
Don't know if you notice or not but just after she drove over to that trailer, a guy came out and opened the passenger door, then as she was pulling out of the driveway he was heading at a good pace out behind the trailer, heading in the direction of where she had illegally parked. Would have been interesting to see where he went. Maybe to retrieve whatever she dumped out of the car back there because she anticipated being pulled over and didn't want to get caught with it.
In your job you have to be careful. In this case it seemed o.k., but most cases of folks living or staying in their cars in seclusion you must assume they are "hiding" for a reason and probably armed and not thinking clearly. Be alert and have plenty of backup. Stay safe Buddy, we care about you!
I have reported a car abandoned on the side of the road too. Door was open and everything. My first two kids were babies so I didn't go out to it but hubby checked to see if someone had got out and fallen next to it before we called the police, who gave me a speech about 'lawless individuals' and I don't know if they came out but next morning it was gone. But you can never be too careful. When I was a kid we found a motorcycle parked up by our gate one morning. Big shiny expensive looking bike hidden away in the bush. Neighbor was a cop, made some calls and found the owner. It had been stolen the night before and either ran out of gas or they were stashing it to come back later. Folks will steal anything. They were hiding a horse on my dad's property near the gully, brought it out to graze late evenings and stayed with it and my brother found out it was a stolen racehorse when the owners came around asking questions. If it ain't tied down it's fair game Dutch.
What's wrong with people? Why can't they stay away from places and stuff that's not theirs. Us normal people work hard for what we have and don't like it when some assholes think it's theirs to use as they please.
You can get in some really rough spots when it comes to trespassers and owning rural land. Last summer one of my sons was working on our property and all of a sudden 2 cars come barreling onto the property - shooting at each other!! Then a county cop shows up. One guy drove away spinning tires and flying dirt as he went. The other guy abandoned his car and ran off down the dirt road. Turns out it was 2 rival drug dealers who happened to run into each other close to our property. My son stands there watching all this unfold before his eyes. Who thinks .... I'll go work out in the country and watch 2 drug dealers shoot it out on our nice and quiet country property that we bought to get away from city crime? We've had to deal with people who had to much to drink so they pull onto our land to grab a nap and others who think because there is not a house on the property yet they can help themselves to tools or equipment they "find" - that would be after they break into our camper or locked storage box. We have had more theft in the country in the last 2 years than 40 years of living in the city. I'm sure the theft will go down once a house is built but it amazes me the number of people who think they can go onto property that doesn't belong to them and do as they please. Take care of yourself, Dutch. There are crazy people out there and in the country there are lots of trees to hide behind!
Same happened to us. Then I went to Home Depot. I bought a battery powered light and fake cameras. (They have batteries and blinking lights). We then built a tripod w 2x4's. About 10' up in area. The I had some large gauge wire that we ran down to a box. We then put some orange netting as a wall about 10' in front of it. Then put some game cameras around. My crime went down to zero
I personally have a real problem with trespassers. Stop and think about it. Most people who trespass, know they're trespassing. They actually know they're committing a crime when they do it. So, if they already committed themselves to committing one crime, how many other crimes are they willing to commit while they're on your property. Some kind of vandalism or theft? Maybe be a creep that likes to peek through windows? Nope, I do not like trespassers. But wait, it doesn't end there. What if a trespasser gets hurt on your property? In some municipalities, trespassers have the right to sue the property owner even though they got hurt in the commission of the crime of trespassing. Nope, I chase them off every chance I get and I've even prosecuted a few.
The Rule of the 3 S's. Shoot Shovel and Shutup. they start screaming about "im gunna sue you" just reply "well its pretty hard to sue me when you're 10ft in the ground"
I own all my shit so there's no reason for a repo guy to come knocking anyhow. Im not going to take out an auto loan for a $600 car, i'd sooner ride a bike, walk, or ask someone for a ride to work until I can afford said $600 car.
Mr Grumpy- While it isn't an official offense to hide from the repoman, it still proves my point that most people who willfully trespass have a shady agenda. Remember, when you default on a loan, the bank has the right to repossess their property. As long as there's a lien on it, you're driving their car. Because you can't pay, the bank has every right to take back THEIR property. When you hide the property or refuse to return it to it's rightful owner, that then becomes a theft of goods and services. However, in some municipalities, the law doesn't see it as theft until the bank has taking possession. Once it's on their lot however, if you steal the car back, YEAH, you'll be criminally charged with the vehicle theft. In other municipalities, the bank does have the right to report it stolen if it's not returned in a reasonable amount of time. Then they'll just retrieve their vehicle AFTER you've been arrested and charged with the theft. And yes, you will be charged, tried and sentenced for car theft just because you thought hiding the vehicle was a better idea than turning it in. I'm 50 now but when I was 22, I defaulted on a car loan. When the bank told me they needed to repossess my car, I TOOK it in myself. I returned it to the dealer I bought it from. I learned the hard way that people who "aren't in a position to pay" loans shouldn't be taking out loans. There's a hell of a lot more dignity preserved in telling people that I turned in my car because I couldn't keep up the payments than having to tell them that it got repo'd out of my driveway because I don't have the integrity to do the right thing. In my personal opinion, keeping and then hiding someone else's property says much more about someone's character and personal values than you think. The fact that you, Mr Grumpy defends "theft", it tells me a lot about your character too. I'm not lending you my tools because you don't think you HAVE to return them.
Horror Amino I don’t think that’s always true. I have accidentally wandered from public property into private property a few times while out walking my dogs. We don’t have a leash law where I live, so I often find out of the way, rarely used public places where I can take my Great Danes out for a run (they run, I walk! lol). A couple of times I have probably been on adjoining private property without knowing it. I’m not out there doing anything illegal. My dogs aren’t hurting anyone or anything, and neither am I. They are obedient and under immediate voice control. I always pick up after them too! I’m probably actually doing a good thing; if I’m out there, chances are that people with nefarious intentions aren’t likely to be where another person can potentially witness what they’re doing.
I actually did repo work and you can't block a car in or hook it up, if anyone is in the car. You can block an empty vehicle in ONLY while waiting for tow to show and you better have papers from lender authorizing you to act to recover the vehicle in your possession. Until you have papers and actually hook that vehicle up (or have keys and get in it to drive it off...you have not taken possession). You can't report it on tow line as a repo until you have taken it. In Texas, there is risk of being shot while in the act by registered owner since you have to steal it to get it back. Most of the time the lender doesn't want the vehicle. They just want to be paid. Answer their calls or call them and they will usually try to work with you. If you've been out of work, but have replaced your income, ask them if you make a payment if they can defer past due amount to the end of the loan or any way you can remedy to keep your wheels without having to worry. They changed the laws here and now you can be arrested for hiding your vehicle.
Wait, you turned the camera off? WHY would you turn the camera off?? That's EVIDENCE, even if you just put your phone in your pocket and record audio. Anything could have happened and you missed it. NEVER turn your camera off.
Batfox Babe I haven't watched any of his videos but I'm not impressed by this one....... that just shows how ignorant he is turn off is only independent Witness
Is it marked no trespassing? A lot of people assume if it's a public utility right of way and it isn't marked no trespassing they can go through there. I don't know what the laws are. I guess she didn't want her car repo'd the boy friend slashing tires was all BS.
In Georgia where I'm from the power companies have had to lock up and fence and gate a lot of the power line roads to keep people out now. People were illegally dumping trash, starting fires, shooting, camping out, illegal hunting, drugs, and more.
Some idiots near where I live thought they were going to steal the copper wiring from live wires. They tried all right. Needless to say they only did it once.
Jessie Ramos I can’t believe someone would be idiotic enough to try that once! But it’s definitely not something you try to do twice! That’s some Darwin Award winners right there!
carryit around lol. USMC veteran here and I have a dui or two and at the moment I cannot afford the breathalyzer so, it's moped and a cb750 for longer commutes.. Suck it up right?! 😂
carryit around I don't drink and ride. I was making a reference to suffering the financial consequences of our actions.. If we can't afford to drive a car, we have to address the issue and make ends meet using alternative options..

He's being respectful, didn't know the whole story and isn't looking for trouble. If under certain circumstances he may not have put any of the vid here.
MAN YALL NEED TO BE CAREFUL OUT THEIR. YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPEN TO NICK GREEN REMEMBER THAT BROTHER. YOU NEED TO BE ARMED WHILE OUT THEIR. JUST MY HONEST OPINION . PEACE&SAFE JOURNEYS BROTHER.
I knew as soon as I saw where the vehicle was that they were hiding it from repo. I have seen some even better hiding spots and i'm always baffled that they think sooner or later they are going to get caught but they think they are smarter than the repo guys.
All you have to do at least in Wisconsin is park your car in a locked garage, don't drive it, and take care of your finances as soon as possible. And the Repo Man can't get it.
so she has a lien on it and hasn't paid for it. that's why she was hiding it, she knows its out for repo and doesn't want the repo agent to know where it is. sneaky but I have seen better hiding spots. she got away for now but this repo company will be back and might call you guys to show you exactly where you found it so they can have a truck come and get it. just be ready for that call. some repo companies will give you a finders fee for helping them out.
The old saying they get away with it but eventually they will get the car. She will make a mistake, the car I agree is her and the lien company problem, you stay safe....
We are having lots of troble with trust passer. They put a pad lock on our gate and we can’t get in! Can you believe that! We are still trying to get in.
here's a clue: if you are hiding a car on someone else's property and you don't have permission to be there you are doing something illegal... I don't care if it is your car, the bank's repossession or even a car that does not belong to you Trespassing is illegal. refusing to surrender the vehicle to the repo man is also illegal. Once they show you the repossession papers It's their car, if you are lucky they will let you remove your personal items from the car.
I own 27 acres everyone is WELCOME. Trouble comes and goes, its the nature of people. Its just land. We have a right to protect, I agree. We also have a duty to the good of mankind. Is the land of heaven have trespassers? We must rule righteously with our blessing. Not religious, but I know whats good and whats bad. Throwing ANY stranger off a piece of land is not a good way to live. Have you ever offered one of your trespassers a cup of coffee. You would be amazed at peoples stories, might change your whole life. Try it someday. Give em a stick of gum, talk to em, wheres thier peoples from? Your family may know each other! What if the lady's great Grandma gave your great Grandma a ride in a storm or a loaf of bread? You never know, think about it. Just saying!!!
Jhon Smith i dont drink coffee lol....well my friend i couldnt disagree more when it comes to trespasseres....ill be posting another trespassing video in the next day or to, if u get time to watch it, maybe you will understand my stance on the subject. My friends family was almost murdered. Yesterday from a trspasser. I hope it does not take something like that to happen to you before you have a mindset change.
I don't know Dutch, I like you and all and I get you wanting to make sure every one was ok people helping people is good stuff but after the call to the authorizes ild be all set...... I don't work for a bank or the repo company so they are not hearing from me. I know why things get repo'd but there are two sides to every story that's some one else's business not mine. my motto is if I can't help you I won't hurt you. Chase folks off you property all day long, that wasn't even property you or your company own, just had utility access for.
J Cross yeah and once the police where called I was done, thats why I did not try to intervene when the goofy repo wanted us to. I said no way, i just stuck around to get some footage of the situation. Take care friend.
CharliBaltimore Until it is reported stolen it's a civil matter and i would think the police wouldn't be involved. Although tee repo company could have anticipated trouble and just got there before the cops i guess. God knows in a small rural dept. the sheriff may just own the repo co. for all i know lol.
cookman2k The repo companies are required by law to report the owner, vehicle and vehicle ID# of any vehicle they plan to repo. That way if someone calls to report a vehicle stolen, the police know not to get involved.
Looks like a sort of POWERLINE ROAD?? Usually a power station near by. Cool to listen to the lines sizzle when it's really humid LOL.... Typical stories of drug dealer activity. i see it all the time. They will park a mile away and walk up to do the sale or to buy. Keep an eye on that. Did you see that guy's actions after meeting up with that guy and he ran to the back of his yard........
All they have to do is just have the Creditor take her to court. Then it be settled and finished. It might cost but they can pass the cost onto that person.
My favorite part was the way Keeping It Dutch kept repeating himself and saying the same thing four to seven different ways. That showed some real talent.
Dangerous all the way around. She seems to be one those people who lying/deceit is the norm. Might she and someone she knows have vengeful side ?? Not worth the risk.
I see your point about not getting involved, but I'm not sure I agree with it. If it was your property that someone was hiding would you want the ones who found it to help you recover it?
As of now:
3000 KID fans liked the video.
869 Trespassers didn't. LOL

I know you can't pack, but several company vehicle maintenance items can be readily available to protect city/county workers

Thanks for sharing. I don't blame you for not helping the repo people, because of possible repercussions later on.
Repo man might want to invest in something more than a Ford Focus if they want to chase anyone.
Misty Nyberg, yeah he should get a fiesta...Lol :-)

We’ve been ripped off in our rural area, too. Never had it happen anywhere else I’ve lived. It was a disappointing wake up call. Crime is everywhere.
I know just what you mean. I was/am shocked at the boldness of some people.
Sharon Allen same thing out here in northern Los Angeles County and southern Kern County.. Don't be discouraged. You are not alone!
I was going to guess a copper thief.
LOL... That car hardly looked worth hiding from the repo people... They might have been doing her a favor by hauling it off... Thanks for sharing !
Bumble Bee Junction most repos are like this!
around here thats normal for people to hang out at the powerlines. I've gotten bogged down so many times and had to walk out.

He's being respectful, didn't know the whole story and isn't looking for trouble. If under certain circumstances he may not have put any of the vid here.
@3:07 That music! HAHAHAHAHA 😂🤣👍😁
MAN YALL NEED TO BE CAREFUL OUT THEIR. YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPEN TO NICK GREEN REMEMBER THAT BROTHER. YOU NEED TO BE ARMED WHILE OUT THEIR. JUST MY HONEST OPINION
Commodore Sixfour or you can just pay your bills and only buy things that you can afford. No need to hide if you live that way.
She shouldn't be by the sub station. That a fact jack
I didn't know you did a high wire act. No wonder your hair is always sticking straight up! ;o)
Your a good citizen, if everyone did their civil duty our country would be a safer place .
good that you didn't get involved IE blocking the car in. You dont know if they didn't have a gun or knife.
so she has a lien on it and hasn't paid for it. that's why she was hiding it, she knows its out for repo and doesn't want the repo agent to know where it is. sneaky but I have seen better hiding spots.
she got away for now but this repo company will be back and might call you guys to show you exactly where you found it so they can have a truck come and get it. just be ready for that call. some repo companies will give you a finders fee for helping them out.
The old saying they get away with it but eventually they will get the car. She will make a mistake, the car I agree is her and the lien company problem, you stay safe....
Yeah glad you got that on tape. No one would believe that story hahaha
Backwoods Raised i know right
Sounds like you were trying to be smart about it all and handled it well :)
WTFarm Girl he handled it right
it's the old ,"hide the car from the bank", trick.
Maxwell smart...Lol :-)
We are having lots of troble with trust passer. They put a pad lock on our gate and we can’t get in! Can you believe that! We are still trying to get in.
Ann Peter that is crazy
Cut it off
Ann Peter bolt cutters! Short work on most all locks.
No bolt cutter or .44 mag?
You just can’t trust those trust passers! They’ll cause you problems any way possible!
here's a clue:
if you are hiding a car on someone else's property
and you don't have permission to be there
you are doing something illegal...
I don't care if it is your car,
the bank's repossession
or even a car that does not belong to you
Trespassing is illegal.
refusing to surrender the vehicle to the repo man is also illegal.
Once they show you the repossession papers It's their car,
if you are lucky they will let you remove your personal items from the car.
It should be legal to kill repo men, they have a pricks way of making a living.
Good move. Your right no use you getting involved. Enough crazy people!
The Lawrence of Arabia music made it that much more epic.
tackyman2011 hahahaha
You did the right things.”good job.”Peace...”👍
Doesn't it bother anyone that the cops and repo company are so closely connected?
cookman2k They have to be because the car could be reported stolen and cause a bunch of other issues.
That way if someone calls to report a vehicle stolen, the police know not to get involved.
cookman2k trust me cops are not friends of repo drivers usually.
Me, personally, I was just bothered by the fact that she had a "boyfriend"...
I enjoy your videos and I love hearing your accent. I am 1st generation Californian, my folks are from TN. :)
CurbSide Chaos thanks so much. I was born in cali then we moved to Oklahoma when i was a kid.
That's so cool!
Was she hunting for Merrill Mushrooms? ;D
I was so lost until the end of the video and mostly because I’m so high right now.
abarronboy lol me too.waked and baked with some Seattle blue out in boston.
Nevergive Yourname 👍 I have some (Tahoe OG) in California
abarronboy lol. Don't over do it or you might be in the same predicament years from now.. 😂
Haha they wanted you to work for them for free! NOT!!! Good call!
lol .... glade everything was ok .... she sure was lucky lol
Crazy!!! Good call not getting in the way!!!
That was definitely a different video from the norm. To me you did everything right. Another smart Marine in action😊👍‼️‼️‼️‼️
Hey.....I think they call that stuff Pokemon Go. I bet she caught a Pokemon dude. Bwaahaaa.
iam glad you didnt interfere with the lady her circumstances could have been not good im sure she had alot of money invested in her ride
All they have to do is just have the Creditor take her to court. Then it be settled and finished. It might cost but they can pass the cost onto that person.
they parked it there so they cant find it to repo it
Love your stories.
Thank you for the video an thank you for looking out for our land .Loved it an this my third time with y'all here an i like them .
We don't have Repo men in our state. It's funny, if can't make payments, people give'em back.If they don't we send the Po Po after them.
Excellent content. Sound, logical, coherent reasoning... Aka irrefutable! Good stuff. Just subscribed!
My favorite part was the way Keeping It Dutch kept repeating himself and saying the same thing four to seven different ways. That showed some real talent.
What I have done is start conversation, then act as though I turn cam off, but still record.
You did the right thing buddy..
Never a dull moment...
Wow how crazy! Dutch, how do you find all these people?
Dangerous all the way around. She seems to be one those people who lying/deceit is the norm. Might she and someone she knows have vengeful side ?? Not worth the risk.
snugbug agreed
Thank you
Amen Brother .. as long you are Doing the Right Thing ...May God ELOHIM Bess you and you'r Family
Great video and thanks for keeping a look out on things for everyone!
That was good thanks.
Very cool 😎
I just subscribed can't wait to see more of your work.
Ginger Clements thank you
Hahaha the music
I see your point about not getting involved, but I'm not sure I agree with it. If it was your property that someone was hiding would you want the ones who found it to help you recover it?
Yeah she's hiding it from being repossessed.
So, she was hiding from a repo guy?
Debbie Bittner i guess so, we didnt know that when we called in the abandoned car.
Gyeah good video mate ..
Edit subbed.
