I've ALWAYS loved Allison's work in EVERY thing she's done, but in particular, when she was playing C J on The West Wing, there was NO other actress on this planet who made both intelligence and feistiness more undeniably sexy than SHE did!
They make a great homage to them in Studio 60. Danny is a different person (Cal Stanley, the producer) and C.J. is Allison Janney as herself (she hosts an episode of the fictional, LA, Friday-night SNL), but the whole episode almost is just West Wing references (she’s there repping TWW, which is a TV show in this universe) and the two of them together, and while trippy, it’s delightful. 😊❤️
like a grade 7 kid- beautiful. love how she picks up gail and starts to walk out, delightful. And that clarinet music for those two in many scenes, perfect whimsy
I didn't like Danny the first couple episodes, but his character was really fleshed out and became very likable. He really is a sweet guy and doesn't want to take advantage of CJ's position.
they clearly loved each other for YEARS BEFORE IT WAS THE right TIME For them. the onlly shame is it took 8 years but c j would not compermise or even look like she was comermising both because of her job and for the pres she worked for. any man who would wait 8 years for a lady should get the lady in the end. any lady with that much class and intrgerity SHOULD end up with her man, the man she always truly wanted

Yeah! I loved that moment when she was about to reveal information to him, but he stopped her, he could have taken adventage of that and he didn't.
