@@victorkreig6089 😂 yeah that was with the provia film sim too. I’ve been thinking about switching my “cinestill 400D” recipe to that since it’s so clean
@@3goodeyes I feel yah, no matter how many of their sims I go through I always end up floating back to provia and astia. I get why they set them as the standards

Merry Christmas to you and here's to 2025 together! Glad you shared your thoughts on the X-Pro3. I have the X-T5 and I think the Pro has a lot of really great features that makes me think about it. It's such a great camera.
Merry Christmas! I’ve heard really good things about the X-T5. Would you get the X-Pro3 for more personal work or just a different shooting experience?
The xpro3 has been my dream, daily camera for a while, but I couldn’t justify the price at the time (and still). I got a lumix gx85 during this past summer for my edc and came across your other videos, which have been nice to watch. All to say, I like your taste in cameras haha
😂 thank you! and honestly the Lumix gx85 is a way better value but I do understand the off in the distance dream camera idea (I've been having medium format thoughts lately). do you feel like you're missing out on anything with the gx85?
@@3goodeyes I love the gx85. It’s not a big deal, but I wish the ael button was raised or had some grip for back button focus. It’s hard to distinguish that button and the flash one in the moment. I’m using the 12-32mm now and the need to twist the lens every time is getting old. Can’t decide between the 15mm and 20mm. I just know I want it in silver lol. I saw you have the cinebloom filter! Definitely getting one too. I use the 10% for my wedding cameras.
@ have you found back button focusing to be better than leaving it coupled?? oh and I love the 20mm. It’s incredibly sharp and the form factor is niceeee.
Bro the way those NC jerseys and helmets popped, I know Fuji's color science is borderline unmatched but DAMN

@ I haven’t found an astia sim I like yet (haven’t looked very hard tho haha). Do you have any recommendations?

@@3goodeyes - oh I'm ONLY a hobbyist. If I had to eat from my photos, I'd lose weight.
I think just to try something different in a wonderful way.
@@ChrisBrogan 😂 well I don’t think you’d be disappointed! And if it’s not for you then they seem to still resell pretty well
I'd say check out the newer LM WR lenses from Fuji especially the 33mm f1.4 if you love using the OVF!
Ooo ok maybe I’ll rent it and see how I like it. The size is off putting to me but if the images come out juicy then maybe it’s worth the trade off
