    Ridiculous coincidence, I was just about to pull the trigger on ~$150 of DIY moss wall supplies on Amazon for a much smaller piece, and these 2 videos are giving me so much information and perspective. Thanks!

    Every time you are in your plant room, I admire the moss painting and its setting on the espresso wall. You must be so glad that it has continued to be as beautiful as it was at the beginning and should be for many years to come. I so enjoy your creativity, both inside and outside.

    This is such a show-stopping piece of art! That paint looked more brown when you were painting it, but turned out the perfect shade of gold. Thanks for answering questions and showing an update ❤

    A very nice looking, yet very expensive 'dust trap'.....everyone thinks about building something, rarely of the care and maintenance.

    I’ve loved this piece since the first time you showed it, since I’ve loved moss since childhood and green is my favorite color too. Against the dark wall, it’s simply stunning. What holds me back from this sort of decor is the cleaning aspect…my house is very dusty because we don’t have central air filtration-the dust collects by the second it seems. How do you keep this piece looking so fresh?

    • @SoilandMargaritas
      @SoilandMargaritas  10 месяцев назад

      As I mentioned, I only try to keep it dust free but other than that, this piece is amazing on its own.

    • @emkn1479
      @emkn1479 10 месяцев назад

      @@SoilandMargaritas right, that’s what I’m asking…what do you use to dust it? How often do you find you need to clean it? I feel like it would be piled with dust in my house and I’m wondering if it’s worth it.

      I don’t! Check the first video in the description! It probably took me a good 3-4 hrs putting it together.

    Do you get fungus gnats living in this art? I had something similar before and had to get rid of it because of fungus gnats. Even I do not water it, I have a humidifier in the room for houseplants in winter and fungus gnats thrived in the moss.

    • @SoilandMargaritas

    • @SoilandMargaritas
      @SoilandMargaritas  10 месяцев назад

      I use Dewalt's and get the thicker glue tubes, that thing gets hot AND stays hot.

      I thought it was real too , it took me like half way in to figure out, it's preserved or dried out, so you don't want it moist , I would like to do the live one, but will start out with one of these

    Quite creative, but not for me. I would always wonder if spiders were hiding in there. And dusting it.
