Few months from now it will look like crap more than it is now, no place for moss to grow plus it is a mess. I do that with several kind of mosses, different moss patches contrasting with clean separating borders.
I'm amazed at your mastery of materials. Everything from expanded PVC to needlepoint mesh and fishing line. I love to admire Serpa skills on Saturday morning!
A great idea, thoughtfully designed and well constructed. Thanks, this has inspired me to try to recreate a moss covered rock formation I saw many years ago. I love mosses and ferns, would like to have them growing on a wall in my home, so thanks again :)
Didn't ask, I know - but I did enjoy the more low key editing and narration style. I noticed you let more of the natural sound come through and carry the piece. Very well done.
I have wanted to build tiny lifescapes in jars and living fountain aquascapes for so long, but kept running into obstacles. Thank you so much for this channel it is really providing me with great techniques
Great & I think I could give it a go. Thanks for explaining in a easy to follow instructions, I have my moss growing in an old fish tank & I love it when I notice growth has happened & it's a little bit bigger, such a slow grower, I think that's one of the reasons I am into it. Thanks for the idea.
This is awesome. I've been wanting to make one myself for a long time to fill a large blank spot on my living room wall. This gave me great instructions on how to actually get it done!
I've done something similar with some old display cases and I've found in our old little house. I was vending at a convention, my first time displaying and selling my art in person. I had a few terrariums for sale and displayed jewelry in the moss cases ! People loved it and you definitely inspired a lot of that for me Tanner my man 💚
I think now it would be cool to try and do what you did in this to make a more long term display, one that people could even watch grow after each event (if I end up continuing to do them!)
This and Living Moss Brick are definitely some projects that I would like to attempt for myself. BTW, we are still using some of your techniques from your 10 gallon aquarium to vivarium build series to make Crestie enclosures! Thanks.
i LOVE moss, & this idea. i have several of these frames in grey "rustic barn wood" style which would be gorgeous with moss. i am going to gather/arrange several different types of moss to create even more visual interest. thank You for this inspiration. (i always love your style.)
That was awesome. I wish I could make one of those. But alas, I am in a wheelchair and do not have the use of my hands. At least I am able to enjoy the wonderful videos that you put out. keep up the great work!
have You seen those chair forms that You can grow grass/moss on? i forgot about them until You just reminded me. but i loved the idea. i should get on that...(literally)
What a fantastic display of creativity. I found this particular project to be inspiring and it really made me appreciate my first terrarium. Thank you so much for donating your time to that.
I would like to see some desert themed terrariums. I know they're harder to make due to moisture but it would be interesting to see what you come up with!
Hi Tanner, a question. I ahve been searching high and low, but cannot find a solution for this. A couple of years ago, we had in my office a large "moss frame", it looked like a 3' by 4' painting frame with moss and lichen in it, open at the front and hanging vertically. It was gorgeous, but best of all, it gave that meeting room an earthy forrest smell (the northern Europeans loved it, the Mediterraneans hated it:-) It had no water pump or connections, instead every 3 to 4 weeks, a gentleman from an indoor gardening company came and replaced it with another one, I heard from colleagues that the moss was put somewhere outside to regenerate (that might be gossip only). From the smell, I think it cannot have been dead, prepared moss and lichen. Can you explain how this can be done, or maybe make a film on it?
New to your channel. Love this. Now I want to make one. I have always loved using moss in my flower/garden beds for a ground cover. Where or not my wife would like it, I don't know, but I really do.
I can't believe how talented you are with building the animal habitats. The tanks are fantastic and you really care about the animals. And thank you for the alerts when you are feeding with living things. Gotta tell ya, I had my hands covering my eyes on one video and I didn't watch the one with the live mouse.😱
Have you ever put moss in a blender with buttermilk and then painted it on a surface? It's a great way to propagate moss.. like moss letters on a wall or fence
Say cheese! Wait, that's not right. Say moss! I hope you enjoy the video and have a good weekend. 🌿
Moss
THANKS Tanner for another great video 😃😃😃🌱🌱
How well do you think it will keep itself watered? i know it's not one of your major pieces but.. occasional updates?
Moss 💚
How do you maintain this? Don't leave us..........hanging! LOL
You should make a prehistoric themed riparium or aquarium with triops in the water and plants like the resurrection plant
Such a cool idea!!!!!!!!!
The only Build i would like to see Fakebones in, great Idea.
Triassic park has a very cool triop tank! That said Id watch a million channels do it. He should collab with people!!
@@nittygritty7034 indeed ^^
Amazing idea
Your videos are like my grownup "Saturday morning cartoons".
This is perfect 💕
Simple but masterful.
I would be super interested to hear how this looks a few months from now.

Well, if you take care of it, it will look great
@@Byrod1 he probably maintains it by trimming .
@@Byrod1 how do you propagate it?
Will it actually live?
Can we all agree Tanner is the moss God 🌱🙏
I'm pretty sure he's just moss wearing a human suit 😂
Let us not use God as a comparison to humans
Yes
He is god
@@antsareawesome9284 true, that's why tanner is the moss God. He's beyond human
This is so cool, I may or may not have stopped doing late assignments to watch this

I love how you repurpose things to make living art.
I'm amazed at your mastery of materials. Everything from expanded PVC to needlepoint mesh and fishing line. I love to admire Serpa skills on Saturday morning!
All Hail Bob Moss! Lolz! Love it as usual, Tanner!

YES, so beautiful! now that the world has slowed down, it is the perfect time to do stuff like this that we've been putting off.
Yes! This is what I've been wanting for my walls! ❤
Everyone needs some moss on the wall!
@@SerpaDesign any update on how this is doing?

Tanner your sunglasses look super cool
I0m hooked. Imagine every morning smelling the moss and sipping coffee. Sweet.
You sir are the moss god!🌿💚
I was waiting for you to add a few tiny botanicals and thin driftwood branches for accent and texture. Nevertheless it looks great.
I agree those would have been excellent touches
They would ruin the look
Basic but lovely, elegant and classy
I just finished making the self-watering moss wall and now... well now I need to make this too. Who knew I'd grow up to be a moss guy?
Sick idea. I love the look of moss. It would look cool with a led light strip at the top to illuminate it like a terrarium.
Love your moss designs
Excited to see how this works out in the long run
So simple and understated! I need to make one of these, it will actually fit in my camper!

This is awesome. I've been wanting to make one myself for a long time to fill a large blank spot on my living room wall. This gave me great instructions on how to actually get it done!
Now make a picture frame with just the perimeter containing moss and/or vines so that an actual picture can still be placed at the center.

Beautiful as always 🤩
I've always loved the idea of incorporating moss into furniture. I was thinking about how to build a terrarium/ moss side table with crypts.

but yes, terrarium tables are the COOLEST. this comment section is making my inspiration run wild.
By the time I was less than three seconds into the video, I already liked it! I know it'll be worthy of liking before I even watch it.
Thank you for another awesome video ❤️ i looove moss
I've always wanted to make this. Tanner you are such a beast of a man. Can't wait to see how it holds up later on.
simple yet so beautiful! ❤💕
I would really like to see something like this in a art gallery, would be really cool :3
That’s beautiful Tanner
Damn that moss loves water as much as I do. Great stuff as always!

Beautiful, probably i going to try out since i am a frame maker and moss lover as well
Etch the glass with your logo or a RUclips play button make it even more one of a kind looks amazing nonetheless
I love it so much. Another great project,Tanner.
Tanner, you should make a poison dart frog terrarium! They are not poisonous in captivity so you should have no problem with them.
Very cool build! It has sort of an understated elegance to it.
Love it!!
Another beautiful piece . Think I’d like to try this.

Went down a RUclips rabbit hole, now 4 am and watching how to make a moss frame. Well I now have something to do tomorrow🤣
Nice shades Tan-Tan!
this was actually really peaceful lol, and the final piece is super simple but nice due to that haha
Ok MossMan...great one!
Wish I saw this before I finished my gallery wall 😭 I'll just have to make another wall and feature moss on that one
This project is so you, looks great!
Rockin it Bro 😎 thanks again Ricky 🕺🏼💃🎶🐈⬛🎸💃
For those in most parts of the US, you can find that frame at Hobby Lobby. Don't pay full price, they go on sale all the time. ;)
Don’t shop at hobby lobby. They’re extremely problematic...
