This is why Superman is not really the strategist of the Justice League but Batman is, however, not only is Superman to be blamed here but the entire team for not gathering enough intel first. Paradooms in sheer numbers are just too overwhelming. This movie really was a trauma for me watching how most of them died like this.

Because the attack on earth was known and planned the attack on dark sides planet was an ambush and they were fighting paradooms AND darksied at once. The odds were in the bat families favor by that time in a sense as the actual number swarming them was smaller than the one during the ambush

I loved seeing the heroes and the villains putting their differences aside and teaming up together very similar X-men days of future past when all the good and bad mutants teamed up to fight the bigger threat.
There is only so much screen time you can share. Give the time constrains and shear number of characters, it's amazing how much better a movie this is than the live action.

Pretty sure him,etrigan and orchid are still alive. Swamp Thing is an avatar so of course that was one of bodies. Etrigan is a demon so won't he be reincarnated in hell just not free to roam earth. Orchid is magic in the shape of a human body. She lives as long as the house of mystery lives.
I really wanted a movie about Flash forming another Flashpoint and warn everyone what is gonna happen so that they would take another choice and win. But no, they had to recreate DC Universe and make Superman: Man of tomorrow.

As superboy said, it was like trying to clear a mountain with a spoon. So it wasn't just that he hard countered him, he was just that strong. Trigon shouldn't be able to beat True Form Darkseid but that's something different, I don't think any Avatar could beat Trigon. Trigon is something of a multiversal threat but because he had what is effectively a curse placed on him to prevent him from moving dimensions freely (which is why he needs to be summoned), he isn't. He could be without that though. He was, before that curse. Trigon is most certainly a universal threat as he has conquered basically every universe he's been able to establish himself in. Every time he gets in to a fresh universe though lately he usually gets stopped somehow as everyone rallies against him before he can get a foothold. Never killed though, until one day Raven deleted his soul. Raven herself at this point was multiversal threat though as well.

This movie was terrible, not because of how tragic the death and story was. But because how it undermined everything that those heroes achieved through other DCAU movies since Justice League War to Reign of Superman. It was just a cheap way of showing "hey we have r-rating for this crap, so we're gonna kill off your favourite heroes in the most gruesome way, everyone wants that in MAIN CONTINUITY". And of course the ending, which is beyond worst. Remeber how all Flashpoint Paradox animation was about how messing with time travel is wrong no matter how noble your reasons are? Well, Constantine just told Flash he has to do it again, because we messed up too much.
I still feel like John Stewart's death could have been handled better. There was pretty much no reason for him to delay his oath. Would have been better if something kept preventing him from starting the oath, and when he thought he finally got the chance to do it, Darkseid kills him

Trigun - Released by Raven and Constantine after Damian's death to battle Darkseid. Proceeded to get sucked into the black hole made by Cyborg. 29. Darkseid - Fought whatever heroes remained and then fought Trigun. Trigun proceeded to grab Darkseid and pulled him into the black hole. 30. John Constantine - After releasing Trigun, he got his neck snapped afterwards by Trigun. Later was revived from the afterlife by Zatanna. Honorable mentions: Amanda Waller - Died from cancer as stated by Harley Quinn. Joker - Killed offscreen by Batman after being turned into Darkseid's minion. Guardians of the Universe (Green latern Corps) and Guy Gardner - killed by Darkseid and bodies can be seen before John Stewarts death. Everyone who survived after Darkseid's death - removed from existance after Flash causes another Flashpoint to restart history. For those that have yet to watch the Crisis on Infinite Earths trilogy, they actually expand more on this.

It seems like every few years the writing team can’t think of a creative enough storyline, so they take out their mental and emotional traumas on these characters. If you actually watch the movie you’d understand that Batman had a plan that if things went south zatanna would use her magic to make Constantine run in order for Constantine to use magic to figure out how to win.

Constantine doesn’t run so he had to be mind controlled to do so but since it was paradigms a mix of Doomsday and Pars Zatanna couldn’t get away.

Correction: Starfire doesn't die in the Titans massacre, she becomes a cyborg and survives to the end of the movie.

I loved seeing the heroes and the villains putting their differences aside and teaming up together very similar X-men days of future past when all the good and bad mutants teamed up to fight the bigger threat.
Its wack how most died so easily. Like the writers were too lazy.
There is only so much screen time you can share. Give the time constrains and shear number of characters, it's amazing how much better a movie this is than the live action.

Agreed, and it was a wasted opportunity to make an epic series or trilogy based on the events of flash point to infinite crises storyline. It was a multitude of bad writing, a lack of artistic talent in storytelling ability, a rushed project, and a cash-grab mess. This is why people pirate movies or DC Marvel, Star Wars/Trek, Disney, LOTR type shows, and wrestling WWE/AEW lose the audiences by putting out bad products, woke culture, bad talents, and feminism ruining male-centric spaces.

Also… the Central Power Battery can’t be destroyed by just magma from Earth… while I think Darkseid could manage that, it should have caused an explosion at least that hurt Darkseid because the power of the Emotional Spectrum energy is still pure energy.
Reminder that Trigon casually defeats Pre-Crisis Superman. Pretty sure he can take Darkseid.
@@RuneKatashima you also have to remember Trigon also inherently uses one of Superman’s weaknesses (even in Pre-Crisis) with magic. If he could beat a magic-immune Superman I could see that arguement… also Darkseid has beaten Pre-Crisis Sups pretty badly too… and wasn’t using one of Superman’s weaknesses.
Also, isn’t Darkseid usually more of Universal/Multiversal threat? Last I remember Trigon hasn’t been a threat to the Universe let alone the multiverse…

@@Megamanlanprime While he did abuse Superman's "weakness" to magic he also just couldn't hurt him. Superman and Superboy were punching Trigon and it did literally nothing. As superboy said, it was like trying to clear a mountain with a spoon. So it wasn't just that he hard countered him, he was just that strong. Trigon shouldn't be able to beat True Form Darkseid but that's something different, I don't think any Avatar could beat Trigon. Trigon is something of a multiversal threat but because he had what is effectively a curse placed on him to prevent him from moving dimensions freely (which is why he needs to be summoned), he isn't. He could be without that though. He was, before that curse.
Trigon is most certainly a universal threat as he has conquered basically every universe he's been able to establish himself in. Every time he gets in to a fresh universe though lately he usually gets stopped somehow as everyone rallies against him before he can get a foothold.
Never killed though, until one day Raven deleted his soul. Raven herself at this point was multiversal threat though as well.

This movie was terrible, not because of how tragic the death and story was. But because how it undermined everything that those heroes achieved through other DCAU movies since Justice League War to Reign of Superman. It was just a cheap way of showing "hey we have r-rating for this crap, so we're gonna kill off your favourite heroes in the most gruesome way, everyone wants that in MAIN CONTINUITY". And of course the ending, which is beyond worst. Remeber how all Flashpoint Paradox animation was about how messing with time travel is wrong no matter how noble your reasons are? Well, Constantine just told Flash he has to do it again, because we messed up too much.

29. Darkseid - Fought whatever heroes remained and then fought Trigun. Trigun proceeded to grab Darkseid and pulled him into the black hole.
30. John Constantine - After releasing Trigun, he got his neck snapped afterwards by Trigun. Later was revived from the afterlife by Zatanna.

My favorite trope is when the hero’s team up with the villains to take down the main villain.
The fact that batgirl was bumping with these paradooms is ridiculous. Shazam and Superboy were getting their butts beat by less than what batgirl fought off. And aquaman got split in half by the omega beams. And Damian turned to crisps and survived for a couple of minutes.
I dont believe steel would just go like that.
