    Hatha Yoga Class Intermediate- Advanced
    In this class we are gonna move through a standing sequence. Less Vinyasa Flows. Less Planks. Less poses that involve wrist strength/flexibility.
    The focus is on leg and lower body work, backbends,strong standing sequence, Revolving poses, Hip openers, quadriceps stretches, Intention Meditation, Contemplation, Relaxation, Breath, Prayer.
    Warriors, Half Moon Pose, Plie squats. headstands, kings pigeon, murmaid pose, eka pada rajakapotasana. frog stretch, twists, standing half splits

    yes! and you....:D lol I think her classes are the most creative and challenging on the internet, she blows away 75% of the teachers I go to in actually studio's. Its inspiring for me as I hope to teach one day, and its a nice change from my daily morning practice.

    awww dawn evaro thank you from my heart! i will do a video on wrist alignment because its pretty hard to explain it on here so keep an eye out for it. but yes distributing the weight into the knuckles/base of fingers is right. as far as fruit veggie fasts go- yes there are many. but grape or watermelon or apples are some of my favorite. love

    fernanda rojas it really depends on the person. some people can learn it in 6-7 months, others take years. practice safe, be patient and you will get there when your body and your mind are ready for it. Love

    unfortunately I couldn't do all poses. but I know I need to have patience ( but its hard). As soon as one starts yoga, one gets in such a hush to do all poses, even inversions, that they forget to do the basics well and its a major mess. It happened to me. I'm feeling way better now doing yoga, than a while ago. I respect my body's limitations more now-a-days, and that makes me go further, and the change is permanent. And it's all because of your videos Ali, Thank you so much again =]

    Yeeeeiiii!! New class! I am so excited when you post new videos! Thanks dear Ali! I enjoyed this one a lot too. I have some updates of my progress from this class, I could finally perform 1st level of clasping hands behind on warrior 2, just clasping fingers, but it is a progress! And also the variation of the headstand with crow, this position was totally new for me and I am so happy I could perform it without problems. I am definitely improving with your videos and practice.     Ali you are so wonderful your classes bring me so much joy, I look forward to them everyday..Thank you, thank you, The best yoga instructor I have ever had!! Do you teach at a yoga studio too? I was also wondering I have been trying to pay attention to not putting to much pressure on my wrist with downward dog, planks by pressing into pads of fingers not palm pressure, do you think this would cause my fingers to be sore:) haha Namaste!!

It did help loads with my wrists, not many plank poses here and gives me a rest for them though I did do this one the day after I did your 300 rep legs and can I just tell you I really, really am not happy that I live in a 2 story house right now.     Dear Ali,i love your classes,i am practicing yoga for 10 months recently,once in a week im into head stand but my biggest problem was i cant bring my legs up,i kept flipping back when they reached above my hips,it felt like i have no muscle strenght there,any advice please! Namaste

    Hello again, beautiful Ali. I have been searching for this answer on the internet but haven't found it. Every time I do wheel pose I get a really strange sensation in my legs and especially pelvic region that almost immediately makes me feel almost weak and sick and I have to get out of it right away. I was a gymnast my entire life through high school and never experienced this sensation in the past. Do you have any insight? Sorry for the long question!

      Wow. I actually think your advice really helped, Ali! I just tried wheel again, legs very close together & toes pointed straight ahead and no discomfort! My legs are still a little wobbly from my practice with you so I'm going to try again in a couple hours, but I think you got it! Thank you for your help & super quick reply!!!

    I loved this slow conscious movement, Ali! I do have a quick question. Often in pigeon pose I am inclined to turn my head to the side. Is this okay for my spine? I noticed that your head is centered looking straight down. Thank you! With love & gratitude!
