Kenji, I was Brendan, the slow do-nothing reanimate deck. I had Valgavoth and the White bomb mythic that makes 2/1 fliers.
My deck was firing on all cylinders all night, often hitting my targets with the 3/1 Survival creature or with my mill/manifest cards.

My best performance in irl draft so far was with izzet, I got pretty unlucky on round one and lost but rounds 2 and 3 I completely obliterated both opponents with two quick 2-0s, the final opponent lost vs me 0-2 in about 90 seconds
I got maddening hexed when I was plyaing a rooms deck, rolled a 4 and then had a removal spell that would win me the game but needed to roll a 3 or lower, rolled another 4 and lost. Brutal tacking essentially 3.5 life cost on every non-creature spell.

Is there a way Wizards can cut back on power creep and go the other direction for a change? If they keep making cards more powerful set after set then the game would be unplayable. Like what's next, one mana 2/2 that taps for mana? Or a card with a million words on it that no new player would want to read, ever.
