Im a Painter and at first it seems overwhelming but let me tell you something the process of learning it is fun. It doesn’t even feel like work now and its a skill that would definitely impress many others. This guy is giving you free knowledge and many years of experience in just a little short video. 🙏🙏
I could probably do this if I had a shop and tools tbh. The hardest part of trying to do stuff yourself you see pros do is you never have the same equipment. I tried to fix my clear coat because it was peeling and it just didn't work because i had to do it outside
Well I scuffed my Malibu door by hitting the side of a pole turning into a parking lot. I went to a paint shop and they hooked me up with the paint and clear coat. It’s all in an aerosol can. I know I have to sandpaper it and put primer on first. I don’t have a sander machine so hopefully I can do it by hand.
My paint was chipping on the hood. Watched many tutorials on yt to how to do a paint job. In the end, I fucked it up badly lol looks lot worse than before. Wasted my precious day off for nothing. I should have paid a professional to do it. Fml

@@cspray5386 hey baby I know what I’m talking about if you blend the spot you will see the blend area within 6months . Remove the bar that’s the right way ok

There is an art to this and this guy knows his stuff. Amazing. Where did you learn this or just formed over experience hands on?
Save your money on the blending spray by adding some thinner to the clear when there is just a dribble left in the gun. Great job 🤘
Beautiful work. Bloody beautiful.
Totally motivated to blend the shit out of everything lol
Love your work brother, very inspiring 👍
You're so cool. Thanks for showing!
So clean mate
Good stuff Dave

Outstanding
I have this exact problem on a white Prius bumper. Can you give links to the products used?
Is there a way that you can explain the tools/items you’re using for each video during the video?

How many hours did this take you to do?
Nice , exactly what I need
Top stuff
Could you make a full video with guides
Try flipping your hood down when basing. It works better
Hi sir what is your mask called? I really like your mask
What kind of paint do you suggest using?
👍👍👍👍👍
Is there any places in Massachusetts that do work like this. Cause every place I call wants to paint the whole panel
My favorite part was seeing the final result
What’s the scuffing paste that you use ?
How much did that cost them?
How much would you charge for a job like this

Yeah how much is it? I have a similar scratch

The opposite is true.
Black and white paint is harder to match.

Little scratches, it's a big job
How much does something like that cost?
At least 500.
No need spray the full bumper ryt
Is it better to blend the paint or to paint the whole bumper? What are the differences? Thanks for any help in advance
Better to paint the whole part ! But if the customer wants a quick repair then blending it is !
clean af but can't reproduce that at home
Bumperba?
Won't that fix just crack since there was no reinforcement??? Just asking??
scratch not a crack. for cracks u gotta drill small holes and fill it
Do you have to wait for the clear to dry before adding the blend thinner
you apply the blender immediately after you clear, it just slightly melts the old clear so the new clear binds in a little bit
Someone just side swiped me
I just sticker bombed mine to hide it 😅
But do you sand everything or only the spot u repainting?
Sand the repair area scuff to the smallest part of the bar. 👍

So simple? Do you know where I can buy your fkn 10 year experience from pleaae?
Instead of 800, can i use 320???
No the scratches will show up in the finish.
Should this take 2 days ?
At home possibly but by a professional in a temp controlled shop? No.
🤌👌👍
A blending thinners??? WTH is that?
What’s blending thinners?
It’s thinners and clear mixed together.
So basically take it to a body shop ok
Risky blow in that fair play
Would rather leave it. That’s a lot of money
“Quick and easy way” yet you need your own damn space to do it, spraying equipment and your own clean room smh
Quick?? Really?? You can’t fool me that took at least a day or two
That's not a bumper bar... It's a bumper cover
too bad my paint is metallic 🤦

Bumpaaaa baaaa and praimaaaaaa and body filllaaa
chemical inhalation goes crazy
wtf did he call that filler lol?
A professional will have the b/bar removed to fix it properly
Why
It's just a scratch repair.
A professional would just fix the scratch and blend it
