From Xena: Warrior Princess Season 5 Episode 7 "Purity": When Xena and Gabrielle are confronted by a Monk with a message from Xena's mentor Lao Ma, they journey to the land of Chin. I love the way their outfits and spiritual evolution continued to evolve as the series continued. The fighting skills of Gabby made perfect sense as she continued to hang around Xena. I have a double set of the 6 seasons as a back up and I'm as in love with it now as I was with it years ago. I believe for me, it will go down as my most beloved TV show ever. Thank you for posting this. I need to watch this episode again! By the way, I'm in my 70s and I still wanna be like Xena!! LOL

Yes, but I hated how she would still always get captured or had to have Xe step in. Like, let the girl be great too, nah?! Make a fully competent warrior.

I believe Pao Ssu was not really evil, she was just a bitter and angry girl who is resentful of her mother for abandoning her. I wish that, instead of being killed, she was redeemed by a vision of loving moments of her mother, just like what happened to Livia/Eve
Unfortunately life doesn't work out that way
Sadly, Pao S'su was too far gone to be saved. There were flickers of it near the end, but her anger and lust for power had taken too much of a hold over her.
Great episode! One of my favorites!! Gabrielle looked so good dressed like that😍
And her milkshake always brought the boys to the yard, while she only had googly eyes for Xe. lmao
I love the costumes and the special effects in this episode and it's one of my favourite episodes of xena xx

Remember there was that storyline in the future, where she Gabrielle and Joxer we’re all reborn with Aries on the loose. A little nonsensical at times but it’s something they could build on without having to mess with the continuity, or recast (With the exception of Aries), or reset characters and character storylines.
I'd love to see prequel about evil xena also Lucy and renee could do voice over just like they did with everyone hate chris and young Sheldon?
