Lawyer Whose Wife and Son Were Killed Gets Shot in the Head

- Prominent South Carolina lawyer Alex Murdaugh, who found his son Paul Murdaugh and wife Maggie Murdaugh murdered in front of their Colleton County estate three months ago, has announced he will resign from his law firm, where he was a partner, and enter rehab after, he was shot in the head while pulled over on a rural road Saturday. But the law firm has alleged they came to an agreement he would resign the day before he had been shot, claiming Murdaugh had misappropriated millions of dollars.
This story goes way deeper. Three members of a family don't get capped for no reason.
Wasn’t there something about criminal charges against the son that may be a motive behind the killing? People in the area feeling he was going to get off scot free because of his father’s influence. Although there now may be more to it than that with this story of embezzlement.
@@AuskaDezjArdamaath i think there was. You right

If I had to guess, I'd guess the father shot his own son and wife knowing it'd get him sympathy and knowing he was going to be caught soon. He was the one who "found" them. Then he staged this, because his prior plan wasn't working.
All just a theory, I don't actually believe that's what happened - but it is a possibility.

It either he killed his family and covered it up with a gunshot or the real killer wanted to kill him.
I bet you anything he killed his family for the life insurance money. I bet you he faked that attack on himself to misdirect attention
I think another possibility is he mixed up with bad people got himself in trouble stole fund to pay off debt but it wasn't enough and they killed his family then he missed another dead line and try to kill him or at least scare him. I think this might be the reasoning due to the fact he has no reason to embezzle funds especially since he lawyer and he also apologizes for hurting family members indicting he bears some reasonability or at least in his own mind to the death of his two family members and the fact he enter rehab which could mean the debt involves drugs

Only two possible answers: someone at the firm hired someone to make a hit, or it was self-inflicted as an attempt to look innocent. Won’t change the fact that he embezzled aka stole millions
Except if he intended to survive it, the head is the last place I think most ppl would gamble with? Edit: just seeing the suggestion that it was done carefully to just graze his head, guess it's not impossible. and we've seen ppl do pretty bizarre stuff to try to get away with murder 😯

If somebody who's wife and kid were killed and then he gets shot in the head, they should probably have him in protective custody just in case it wasn't self inflicted.
It obviously wasn't self-inflicted or there would have been a gun at the scene of the crime

@@Chichi11186 then why the father?
@Naruto Minato He wasnt shot directly in the head. He was grazed. Police suspect it was a setup that way. To seem like the bullet just missed him but it was meant to just graze him so he would seem like a victim but also obviously not to die. Theres an infamous case of a woman who after she killed her children, she stabbed herself in the neck to make herself seem like a victim to police. But she purposely didnt stab too deep so she would survive. Same situation here except he used a gun.
