- King's X live at the Ampeg booth on 1/14/2011. They played two shows in the Mackie/Ampeg theater on the second floor, one at 1pm and one at 3pm. This is from the 1pm set. From the "Gretchen" album

After years of missing them I finally saw these guys at a little club on the waterfront in SF called "THE POUND". 200 ppl crammed into what was once a Strip Club for 2hrs of some of the most amazing playing by 3 guys I've ever seen. I love the sound these guys make. And talk about harmonies? These guys know harmony inside and out, forward, backward and upside down!!! Underrated doesn't begin to describe this band, but their peers know who they are.
Probably the rock band possessing the highest % of fans that are practicing / professional musicians

Damn, this song ROCKS!! That's the way a power trio should sound. Thunderous bass & Drums, Killer guitar and vocals. They should have been HUGE!

He came home for Christmas driving his new Ferrari..She was calling him so many names while chasing around the car throwing stuff at him and hitting him with a stick!!

I’ve been listening to videos of their live performances over the last 30+ years and the one thing i notice is how spot on they are. So consistent with their music. Ty tabor does not get the recognition that he deserves and it pisses me off..

I met these boys in 1991 as support for AC/DC in leiden Holland..I was crewmember and while i was watching AC/DC these lads came up from behind the balcony and we had a great talk...still gaskill,s drumsticks...this song is magic...
Just saw these guys three weeks ago in Dallas. They had the crowd singing, dancing and having a vid time.
These guys have tone to fuckin' die for!! Jeez, even them tuning-up sounds like the final thing you'd be happy to hear before you leave this world. Simply amazing... \m/ (:o)
One of those great cult bands that most people haven’t heard of...under the radar, under appreciated, but amazing. Different tunings, unconventional harmonies, and always interesting.

KingsX got such a good sound at the LIMELIGHT in New York which didn’t have to be too loud but balanced and clear being that it was an old converted Episcopalian church which gave it stunning acoustics!!!!!

Dug can’t sing anymore- even tuned down, it’s just too much for him. A shame.
You haven't a clue duder. Dug still sings his ass off. I've seen/heard them as recent as a few years ago at Whisky, and Canyon clubs and he's still able to belt that those tunes out like nobody's business. Ain't no shame in Dug's game. The shame is on you. Everybody's a critic till they have to get onstage at 1pm.
