I was going to say, I've never heard them play any of these at any concert! I HAVE heard them do a spot on cover of Your My Captain - Grand Funk Railroad, for one of their encores and it was an amazing way to finish the show!!! Sorry I was acting in a film this past weekend and couldn't see either Charlotte or Greensboro show... Pity.
That was a great show! The encore kicked ass and what you see here was the band having fun with the audience. The staff at 1st Ave was pissed because they continued to play well after last call. As you can see the fans are all still there!!! Nice stuff Truthislife.
Ty is a Monster Player, in every single area a guitarist can be judged. The ultimate in terms of tone, adding or dropping a string or two to make it more interesting, I could go on & on. He is always learning and mastering all that he learns.
Funny, Sabbath play this out of the C position but tuned down it sounds like it's in A, most bands play this in A. King's X are tuned down (a whole step) but they play it in C.
I will repeat myself here brothers & sisters, these guys are one of the most Underrated Bands of Rock History................
no... they are
At The Very, Very Least !
AMEN,Brother...been In Love W/King'sX since spring '88!
I first saw them open for AC/DC back in the day and was blow away!
The best band ever, (and who never sold out "commercially" to the music industry).
I think a concert of cover songs by King's X would be divine.
I think you are 1 million percent correct! I couldn't agree more
Definately the most under-rated band of all - time!!!!!! ..... KINGS X FUCKIN ROCKS!!
I was at this Show!! Great Show. One of the best of 30 plus times I've seen them............Greatest band of all times without a doubt
where was this show?

Saw them play Sweet Leaf when playing Memphis in 2001. Such a great show.

In the end - it's all about having fun. Give these guys a big "Fuck Yeah" for that!
I'd love 4 them to come out with an all covers album... their Manic Depression version is sooooo Dope!
Even with bad audio they ROCK. 🤙🏼❤🔊
Monster guitar tone.
fastra fucking monstrous! Love Ty's tone

I love you sweet leaf
I never imagined I’d hear King’s X play a Black Sabbath song
Riley Marshall they would sometimes pair it with War Pigs at their sound checks
In addition to what was on this video.. they played full versions of Mission, Pleiades, Golidlox, Summerland and Moanjam as encores
Moanjam roxx!
Oh the teasing 😂
First Avenue.. Minneapolis... June '02
Someone should have asked for LINDA! =)
Is this a case of them not being able to decide what to play? It's funny, but it seems like it's Ty's noodling show
Where/when is this from? I love it!
Free ride
Aww dammit. I bet they could sing "hair of the dog" awesome.
How did that come into your mind?
Free Bird!
More from this gig! Please...

Rare Form the video is from 2002... flip-phones were rare back then
This is an old camcorder shot WAY before cell phones took decent video.
