After watching several videos from this show, something seems off with the band this particular night. Doug seems uncomfortable and unconfident and keeps turning around to fiddle with his amp and isn’t singing like he normally does. Ty seems like he’s just going through the motions and not really feeling it. I’ve seen many of their shows live in Houston over many years and this one just feels weird. Still better than most bands on their best night.
The heaviness of that bass is unmeasurable. Metallica and others could have a masterclass lesson from them, because this is Heavy Metal.
