This level actually sucks balls, this level's only purpose is to be a new top 1 and nothing else. It's the perfect mix of lazy pixel art deco, hitbox abuse, unbalanced gameplay (second checkpoint is literally harder than IWBTG), lazy sound design and atmosphere, etc. I really hope these new top 1 levels stop sometime in early 2024, otherwise the future of extreme platformer levels doesn’t look good.
It actually has pretty creative gameplay, for hard mode plat levels, this is the best your gonna get. I call a skill issue on your part. And it’s a lot better than IWBTG anyway.

Chromaside is the most obnoxious platforming level i think i have ever played, they just spammed the same tech over and over, and if i've learnt anything from Celeste mods, that is tech spam for gameplay always sucks.

Might just be a hot take but i feel like the top 1 level designers who just keep making heavy hitbox manipulation are going to damage player motivation in 2.2 I know there are a lot of other levels that are not hard like this in the game and more enjoyable, but these extreme demons are the ones that get the most views right now, a majority of them actually, and if all people see are levels where you gotta perfectly calculate everything with no leeway, they are gonna loose motivation to get back into things thinking everything is a lot harder than it used to be
