Building An EXTREME JETPACK Level! (Platformer Extreme Demon)

- The three extreme demons of the new platformer mode, when I made the first part of this level, all shared one issue: They were copies of another game and focused entirely on one gamemode. So I started working on a platformer extreme that attempts to balance all gamemodes equally! Last time, we built the cube. Today, we'll be building the ship! ...or jetpack I guess.

Something I like to do when making extreme gameplay is using the timewarp trigger, it allows for easier testing while still showing acurite gameplay
Also, for the spawn loop, rob added a [CREATE LOOP] button where the align X and alignY buttons are

Kindly letting you know: use rotate time -1 on the rotate triggers for infinite rotation (no spawn loop needed)

Yeah. On some triggers a time of -1 will make it last forever.
18:18 try copy-pasting the rotate trigger and then creating a loop for it along with the original. Then put the spawn delay in BOTH spawn triggers as the same time as each of the rotate triggers. Basically, you are looping two rotate triggers that do the same thing infinitely. A bit tedious, but it works!😅

since Robs spawn loop button is a but unoptimized, this is what I do
Spawn trigger that has group 1 and spawns group 1 the same seconds as the rotation, it should also be spawn triggered and multi-triggered. Then a rotate trigger with the default values on group 1, and spawn and multi triggered. Lastly, a spawn trigger that has no groups or ticks and just spawns group 1

a 'building rated level' series please!
To spawn loop a set of triggers, there have to be at least 3 triggers in the set (e.g. 3 rotation triggers doing the same thing) If there are only 1 or 2 rotate triggers then it won't work. Hope this helps and congrats on 200k!

I have an idea if you will ever want to decorate this level it would be cool to add gamemode colour themed deco. So for example cube-forest jetpack-candy land ball-magma.
I'd love for this to be done. (I KNOW I'M FOUR DAYS LATE) Perhaps the Ball next?
Suggestion: Place the spawn triggers that start the loop at the start of the level, as in at the very left where you would spawn if you didn't set a spawn group. Triggers in platformer that aren't touch or spawn triggered are still triggered as they would in classic levels, meaning that the further a trigger is from the left, the longer it will take for it to trigger. You can get a rough idea of the timings with the Playtest Song button (or whatever its actual name is, i don't actually know)
2:18 the 200k to 300k is gonna sound weird at first because I’m used to the 100k to 200k. But I think in the future I’ll get used to it BUT CONGRATS YEAHHHHH!!1

I'm glad that now I me as a mobile player can go and practice mode and have hit boxes be shown so when I go in normal mode I know where to go

idea for future parts: made so you collect the key, and you have to go all the way back to enter, but near the key theres a toggle orb that changes path a little bit and when you click toggle orb, path changes to path where you go to start but theres an exit instead

Unsure if this is something you've thought of, but it would be very cool if after you get all of the keys the door leads to a last room that utilizes all of the gamemodes in one room, and then there could be a completion door at the end of it. Just a thought
I'm pretty sure that's what the door marked with a rainbow colored keyhole is going to be.

@@vsetna So? It makes sense to have a section of all other sections mixed after you complete the sections it combines. Besides, if that WERE the ending, what would that final door be for?

Hi sdslayer, could you tell me how you made the camera triggers work during teleportation? I have a problem on my level where the player teleports but the camera doesn't teleport with him and stays stuck in the room before the teleport

15:55 sometimes it also happens to me with every trigger but after like a half of an hour when I am wrapping around trying to fix it works and that trigger doesn`t even work and I found like if you used a chapter you will have to put the last chapter that you made to the trigger I hope it works. but the real solve for some triggers when put them in a loop the loop doesn`t work but the rotate trigger the only way to make it loop is I think put the move time to -1
but then it takees infinite time to rotate
Use rotation time -1 for infinite rotation, or, yk, put on multi trigger
