They still haven't discovered the plane strat though. It's a bit complicated but it definitely does break the tower even more effectively than the current strats

Sadly you can't, they tried lots of methods during 2.2 but the jump was impossible. In the latest version though its barely possible to do the jump and it gets consistent with time
This is a pretty nice video, but I suggest toning down the stereotypical speedrunning legacy video phrases, like "how players broke [X]" (especially since the tower wasn't even broken at all), "[X] got THIS run..." and "something incredible happened..."
Pretty awesome video! However, about the coyote time, that was a feature in Update 2.1 that was removed when 2.2 came out that was readded in 2.201 due to community feedback
I died a little inside when you described the levels as "pretty easy for most players" (maybe it's just because I have practically zero platforming experience aside from Celeste, but I just cannot get used to the physics)
As a person with the 97th [Maybe more now] place on the sewers ranking as of currently holding on in the top 100 for 2 months, i can confirm we found every skip
You can jump on the boxes and save a TINY bet of time on the last level in the part where you need to hit the button for the crate to fall down if you jump the entire time and PERFECTLY jump on the box while your inside it. however you need to jump on the EXACT corner of the button.
“Most of the levels are easy for most players” my hardest level being deadlocked and i still haven’t beat the boss fight in the secret hollow for an hour every day
You know, I actually got one of the best cycles, not on camera, for the bossfight. I hit all of my shots, and when the RNG part came, there was no lasers or hitting the ground moves, only fireball, and attack fireball.
In the secret hollow, on the bossfight, it isnt RNG based. The order is: Red Red Red Green. 3rd part is Red Red Red Green Red Laser; Red Red Green Red Red Laser; Red Green Red Red Red Laser; Green Red Red Red Green Laser.
Not all the time, we do know that the green fireballs come after ever 3 reds, but the lasers and slams are all rng. I’ve gotten runs where he slammed me 3 times in a row
