    Just got a 6'2" (I'm 52yrs old, 235lbs, intermediate surfer, bad knees, old guy)--the board is amazing...had it out at a point break today chest to head high--fast, barreling waves...the board is responsive, fast, solid under the feet...got barreled (into a closeout)--shoved & tossed around but stoked...the board is so fun! Great big-guy board! (had the previous lib tech puddle jumper--same volume; also had puddle jumper rp, poly--loved both boards, this one is better, imo) **Fins--I love quads = using the fcsII lost split keel fins--drivey, but still good for going vertical

      Thanks for sharing.. I'm trying to surf again. I'm now 215 lbs. Found it harder to getting back paddle conditioning and standing up fast agian as I get older ..my old boards dragged and I sat low in the water now.. hope this board works out.

    when they say light what is the weight of a 6' PJhp? please post the weights of these(and all boards)
    .. bought a libtech QuivKiller 6' but ugg its heavy 9.5lbs :( BUT I do dig the construction and got a scratch on bottom deck from rock was able to fix it faster just glueing up the scratches hoping that the foam really didnt suck in water.

    Hi @boardshop - do you recommend this board over the pyzel gremlin? Looking for a single board, getting back into regular surfing and want to move on from minimal/pop out boards as the performance/turning is pretty poor. Considering the gremlin vs the PJHP - gremlin is cheaper and seems to be higher performance - maybe handle bigger waves? But the supposed durability of the PJHP is tempting as travel a lot.

      Sounds like you understood the differences. Choice is up to usage I guess. What did you choose?
      Btw I think the puddle jumper HP is now available in new techno pop construction

    How big of waves would you surf this for a point break?
    Overhead?
    1.5 x Overhead?
    2.0 x Double Overhead?
    I'm trying to replace my Lost Rad Ripper but they don't make a Rad Ripper LibTech.
    So its either the Puddle Jumper HP LibTech
    Or the Rad Ripper Black Sheep

      Just slighly overhead at its max!

    What's the upper wave size you would ride this in?

      @BoardshopUK  2 года назад +2

      Hard to say but we would say up to 6ft as an average.
