Can you establish "punch tests" in other reviews and constructions as well?
    Say the firewire Helium?

I went from riding a 10’0” nose rider for the last 7 years to jumping on a 6’2” PJ I just purchased. I took it out in about 4.5-5’ mushy waves. The first wave I took of on was a backside left (I prefer frontside), but this board was amazing! I had so much control! I was expecting it to be a little squirrelly because of the board size jump down, but the quad setup dug right in and I had full control on a surprisingly fast board. This board almost surfs itself. I would imagine that catching a rail on this thing would be very difficult and it paddles into waves like a longboard.

I'm looking for an all around high performance small wave board. I've been going back and fourth between the Lost Puddle Jumper and the JS Psycho Nitro. What do you think?

Not entirely accurate. I live on the Gold Coast and I've had my lib tech puddle jumper for 8 months. I also work in a surf shop in Byron bay selling these boards. You 100% will get deck compressions over time but obviously it is greatly stronger that PU and also more durable than the carbon wrap.
Don't get me wrong the board is amazing and I love it but deck compressions will sneak up over time.

I've had mine about a year and a half and don't have one compression ding in it yet. To be fair I am on the lighter side but still, I put compression dings in my PU boards. Surf it at least twice a week. I have seen the internet dings on them etc, but I would suggest you'd have to be a pretty aggressive surfer with a very hard landings on your pop ups or you're doing huge drops off the lip or airs or something. I would ask of anyone who dings their Lib Tech, the question of how would a PU board have done under those same circumstances.
