    Great video. I would also mention how Leo adapted to Light's shield pressure by calling it out using Joker's counter. I thought that was the biggest difference between the first game and the others

    This was really great! I've been hoping someone with this depth of knowledge would share their analysis like this.
    I'll see these details and insights mentioned, either by streamers/top players/commentators, but so often it's during a live viewing, or immediate post-game analysis. And those types of comments are always my favourite! Even if it's as (relatively) simple as what one player is trying to get the other to do and how they adapt, it's so helpful to have it explicit.
    And this was just that turned up and expanded. Really good stuff, I hope you do more of it!
    One thing I really liked were the slow-mos (with and without the little caption). I found it really effective at quickly highlighting examples without breaking the flow of the video or commentary/analysis.

    Interestingly you talked about beating shield without grab, and I think one of the main interactions Leo kept losing vs Tweek was trying to beat shield with (tomahawk) grabs and Tweek kept jumping - maybe using the Parry jump option select. In a way he's I guess still playing in that past meta like you said.

    19:00 The point you made about Leo having rather simple tech skill for a top player is something the Byleth Discord has brought up before. In response, he said "some people really think my byleth sucks cuz i dont spam upb and do the technical "stuff" i wish they understood that neutral is more important than being technical".

    Great video! I'd definitely like to see more of these.
    In the Sonix/Spargo set, you highlighted how much of an asset Sonix's stamina was. I can only imagine he's developed that skill partially through the many, many brackets he's entered, both online and off. Would long grind sessions be just as suited for developing that or do you think tournaments are better for building stamina?

    • @RamsesEsports
      @RamsesEsports  Год назад +3

      A bit of both! Tournaments drain your stamina in a pretty unique way, however there aren't enough tournaments in the world for it to be enough practice for stamina. I'd say train up your 'base' stamina in long grind sessions, then play as many tournaments as possible to polish your stamina reserves to be able to handle events!
      Thank you for the kind comment

    Considering what you think of their strengths and the current meta which roster of characters would you recommend to Leo/Tweek/Gluto if you were their coach? Leo is playing four characters now.

    • @RamsesEsports
      @RamsesEsports  Год назад

      I think rather than recommend them characters, I'd talk to them about what they feel the limitations of their characters are and how to deal with them. Based on that you'd get rosters that fit their goals, rather than just being good rosters!

    Can shield be angled fast enough to track Fox' back airs as he fastfalls?

    • @RamsesEsports
      @RamsesEsports  Год назад +1

      Fox SHFF is 17 frames so not on reaction, no! In anticipation, yes. I doubt Fox can punish up angle too dearly, though at a low enough shield even up angle won't save you.
