    I visit Paso several times a year; you were spot on with your reviews. Love Austin Hope and Justin, Adelaida has some nice wines. Can't wait to see your review of Austin Hope, give their Grenache a try. You might enjoy Guyomar Wines in Paso Robles.

      How are the wines of South Korea?
      I have been there 3 times, but don’t remember drinking any local wine.

      @@decantswithd Oh, I can't be the one to represent Korean wines, but at least from my limited knowledge... terroir is much different from other countries (distictive 4seasons, type of soil) so it is difficult to evaluate the quality of wine in same manner. However, several wine maker are making meaningful effort to raise its quality and brand to a global level..
      Since the start of Covid 19, I havent had a chance to visit the states and taste beautiful wine.. cant wait!

    The $20 DAOU Cab tastes better to me than the Estate. I have not opened the latest vintages yet. I find the Justin Cab boring. I am a Justin fan and I just don't care for their Cab. True Myth is a good Cab for the money. Austin Hope is an amazing Cab. Definitely the best I've had so far in Paso. Just got their cheaper Cab to try. Hope it is good - no pun.

    The Treanna Cabernet also from Hope Family Wines is also wonderful and more affordable. Rhône blends from Paso Robles are great too.

    Nice review. You should try the Daou estate cab or even soul of a lion one day. Pricey but probably our favorite wine out of Paso Robles.

      Daou reg cab for 30 is well worth. Better than their 50

    • @swetzel322
      @swetzel322 2 года назад

      @@charliefrago1380 agreed, but the estate cab, Adelaida district or soul of a lion is much better. Reserve cab at 50 is not worth the price jump from the regular one. In my opinion, soul of a lion competes with the best of Napa

    Really enjoyed the 2000-2004 Eberle Estate Cabs. Haven't liked the later vintages I tried.

    2021 you found a 2016 on the shelve for 20$,you know how the sale went.

    If you can find it, you need buy some 2016 Adelaida Cabernet Sauvignon. 2016 was WAY better than 2017. Not sure it was too much rain in 2017 or maybe Adelaida sold a lot more of their good grapes on 2017 vs 2017 nonetheless, for $30 the 2016 Adelaida Cab is a steal. Parker gave is a 92. Great cellar defender. The 2017 was too sweet for me.

    If you like Justin’s Cabernet, you’ve got to try their Isosceles Red Blend.
