I...am going to have to see if this is the problem with mine. It almost never comes on, I replaced the shift control motor and was about to throw in the towel and start car shopping. Damn light comes on -every- time its damp out or if I get a car wash, raining, or heavy humidity. Thinking this might be it. I will let you know!
Does the new or salvage yard TCCM need to be programed to the vehicle that it's being installed into ? If I install the new or salvage yard TCCM myself will I be able to drive the vehicle to a shop to have the programing done or will it need to be towed ? Tight budget these days and trying to do as much as I can to keep cost down .
Johncom1971 absolutely! It’s worth it to take a knife cut the carpet under the seat and take that model out and see if there’s any water damage. If not that , then it might be the white looking actuator on the front diff.
My 07 Colorado 4x4 light just blinks when put in high but when put in neutral and put in 4x4 low it clunks but the only difference is the rpm change no 4x4 working front wheels won’t engage changed the front actuator but no fix wondering what could be the problem
Similar problem in my 2004 Colorado with the Body Control Module, had to have the dealership reprogram it but solved my electrical malfunction

That back windshield tend to leak or the third brake light chasing water to run down under the seat.
Same here

It worked for me. Plug and play. Good to go
Mines is fine, looks new actually, but I still have a service 4wd light and my bottoms don’t light up at all
Then that might be the actual switch like the push buttons. If no lights come on at all. Check your fuses too.
Thanks
I’m having the same problem u said under the driver seat? Please reply.
Yes under driver seat. Under the carpet. Will have to cut the carpet.
AMAIZING!!! THANKS
where is the control model transfercase
How long to remove and replace the actuator 84109212 motor?
10 mn
Can that cause an intermittent issue? My light will blink and blink and most of the time not engage. Works maybe 15% of the time...

Oh if your truck is standard then you have to push the clutch in to put it in 4 low.
@@RyanBe 2010 Colorado Automatic.
@@johncom1971 if automatic must be in neutral. I didn't know until I saw another RUclips video.

I Found it, thnx for the help
Had that problem before
thank you. will try .:)))
Kevin Shuey hope it works. I had a leaky back window which caused the water damage.
These Colorados seem to have a lot of fire hazards.
