Had beautiful Saturday hikes in Carmel-by-the-Sea. We hiked to Dout Peak via Soberanes Canyon Trail and took Rocky ridge trail on the way back and then hiked Soberanes Point and Calla Lily Valley, short scenic trails next to the beach.

I remember watching a film about a pop festival at Monterey in the late 60s - great line up too. What a beautiful setting there too, no wonder it was popular. Lovely place to hike in the woods and by the coast as well, with that glorious beach being a real highlight, cheers Alan
