very cute guitar esp with a pink headstock that guitar was made for you sexy legs
Hi Sophie, could you kindly let us know what is this beautiful Tone? :> I suppose it's Tim Henson's tone.
Btw I love your tone Rainy Clouds on Rabea's DSP. Used it quite a lot in my recording.
My Sophiiiiiie !
Loving the new look sophie!
If you're not messing up, you're not practicing! This is how we get better. If you get "discouraged" when you screw up - your problem is your attitude, and that will hinder your progress. Have fun with your practice sessions... before you know it, you've become pretty badass!!!
Thank you! The last 30 years I would play and get discouraged and quit. Looking back, I could have been practicing for 30 years :(
I wish I could like your comment twice!
How do I know when I’m good enough that I can get a tattoo?
Thank you for posting this! As an adult learning guitar it helps so much to see the exercises a professional actually uses! Great video!!
I love the way you love your life. Rock on Sophie!
Thanks for sharing this with us Sophie💯
Really really interesting and inspiring 👍👍👍
Getting that balance between learning songs techniques and noodling is absolutely the goal 💯
The send in videos for constructive criticism. BRILLIANT 🎸👌
Love being one of your patreons and so much fun too
😎
You rock Sophie. More of You !!!!!!
Love the guitar 😍
Thanks Sophie, love your teaching techniques, very relaxed and inspiring to watch x
This is such a good vid! Exactly what I needed in my arsenal. The posture tip is so helpful. I get si t-rex hunched and tense when I'm doing any kind of speed drill.
iv watched some of ur old videos regarding licks and riffs and stuff recently and i found them so fascinating that i actually found myself improving at guitar for a change 😅 iv also never tried economy, i suppose now is the time to try it
Appreciate such an honest video. It's rare these days when everyone tries to make everything look perfect all the time.
Thanks for the tips
声も見た目も全部好き!!!
Great advice!
Great stuff, thank you so much for this!
Being on facebook or youtube, sooooo many shorts are about "here are 10 exercises to do", and no one ever mentions how important it is to followup with FUN! Glad to hear you say that- Playing a song that you jam to is 90% of the fun!
Excellent! 🎸 ❤ Thanks 💯
Love your PRS custom 😍
Thanks you Sofie. Really enjoy your videos. I find that the best are always critical of themselves. Thank you for sharing your practice workout. Be strong.
Your guitar is absolutely stunning I’m dying😓😍
You're one of my favorite online guitarists. Keep up the great work, my friend. Thanks for the tips. 🤘😎🤘
Thats awesome like doing alternate picking practicing the modes at a slow speed then working up to speed. This is a great practice routine and i like the unique elements yiu added to your practice routine
really helpful and realistic, ty!
Incredible video SOPHIE. Thanks for sharing. Keep the videos coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love. Hugs
always, 🔝 notch ❤❤❤🎉
I bought this same guitar a few months back when it came out....I absolutely love it. First time ive seen someone else with it. LETS GOOO
Which model is it?
Excellent Sophie, I like the class 🤘🎵🎵
Love this routine, Sophie. Might have to adopt a few similar bits into my own. I still use Rock Discipline after all these years. Petrucci was ahead of his time filming that in his mid-twenties 🤯🤯
That guitar is gorgeous!! It's like pink granite meets cotton candy. Actually jealous.
Oh my… you look sooo awesome au natural!
Cheers from Canada
That is a beautiful instrument.
Find your videos excellent, very real, showing yourself struggling?,. Definitely the BESt instructional guitarist ever!! B good and good luck with your band!! 👍👍👍👍
Vc é a.melhor guitarrista do mundo.
You're wonderful ❤
LUV my Beautiful ShredderBabe Sophie Burrell!
Great exercises . I especially like the economy picking one. Enjoy the weekend. 🩷
Your tone is delicious to My ears!🤘🏼🎸
Nice! Thanks for sharing Sophie! ❤
brilliant
Beautiful PRS, very nice exercises! Your technique is on point. Well done 👏 I have the same problem my picking hand sometimes can't keep up with my left so I am doing picking exercises now 😅🤘
You're really great Sophie, you always practice continuously until you're good at playing the guitar, cool
Beleza muitas tem, mas talento e carisma é para poucos, sucesso Sophie. 🤘🏻🇧🇷
Thanks!
You're are the best ❤🔥
She’s beautiful
Best ASMR shred video ❤
Sophie your so talented you got it keep at OD! Tims crazy 🤪 in a good way
That is a brilliant lesson very helpful and honest it a shame others don’t follow well done 🌹👍🏻😎
Gracias sophi eres unica y talento como navecad por los espacios y mas aun arpegios y trastes
Thank you
NICE PRS!!!
Awesome video.
Hey Sophie, thanks for your practice routine. I normally get up around three or 4 o’clock in the morning and I’ll start practicing for about an hour or so. I’ll lay it down and come back to it later. Do some more practicing.❤ like that tapping around that you do
Una mujer realmente hermosa y con un gran talento para tocar guitarra.
La perfección existe
@-SophieburrellYtYes lady. I know ur name, but ty
I❤U SOP ❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing video
Also, you should check out the Bose Katana Go! It’s just a tiny unit that plugs in and gives you quite a few different tones to mix it up. You just use it with headphones. I can’t recall if you can record
You are something else even when you practice 💯
thnx❤
My Idol
A pleasure to the ears and the eyes. We don't see enough, but you are obviously busy so understandable.
GOD BLESS YOU ❤❤❤
If you want to improve picking hand technique, Metallica songs are a great place to start because there's a LOT of picking hand work (what with James being a downpicking machine and whatnot).
Love the PRS color btw!
For me you do it very well Sophie a little more and it sounds much better.🤘🎵🎵
Yeah, a little more clothing and it will Sound much better.🙄
O.D. Has to be Polyphia’s most technical song, you’re killing it so far!
Hermosoo👏👏👏
Thanks Sophie for the video... Yeah as a guitarist who started only AFTER I became a 9-5 working class adult, you gave me ideas
Are there any tabs for tgose technique practice you used and those awesome pieces at the end of your video? Wanting to incorporate those practice pieces into my own regime as well...
And thanks again, I feel a lot better not having enough time to make mega lessons 😊
This was great to see. Do you have a way of maintaining a repertoire of songs? I always find it's difficult when in any particular practise session you can only really work on one or two, never really sure how to keep up to scratch with a range of songs, other than just brushing up on them when required.
You are just TOO SWEET 😎🤘🏾🤘🏾💌
I was sad when I realized you were in the UK. Then I was even more sad and amazed when you nailed It's Only Smiles.
In my opinion, you have very good technique with the guitar.
1:59 I like this riff, solo or short of song.
Marty Slash said: I yet remember when Pete Thownshend gift me a one guitar ; so much so, ¿What I don't remember what pass with said guitar that night?
Lol.
Love seeing other peoples routines, I’m going to steal the alternate to economy exercise. Also really appreciate how often you show your mistakes and struggles in videos. We only ever see peoples perfect take, and we all know that’s not how it looks for 90% of our playing time. Really good for the youngsters and new players confidence to see seasoned players struggling too, may prevent them from getting frustrated and quitting.
fantastic Good music💖💖💖💖❤
you should try the pyramid of love scale which is good for the finger
Your guitar is so damn pretty 😭😭😭😭😭
I'm currently trying to learn all of Hollow by a perfect circle. It's always been one of my favorite guitar songs ever
Billy just did a thing on the Gibson channel showing all the parts for it if you weren't aware.
A mixture of legs, British, and raw guitar talent. You better be glad Santa isn't real.. You'd be under my tree every year.
Just think of your right hand sweetie at 110 bpm. Pick a six not sequence that the left is so familiar with playing then focus on the right hand literally. Bounce your head move your body as you focus. You will feel your tight hand more. Your not feeling the right hand pick strokes. You feel the left hand quite easily because all the focus has been there. When you focus hardcore on the picking hand you will incorporate sweeps more naturally. Your brain will command your hand to emphasize lighter pick strokes that you can feel. You will find that up strokes are more powerful. Set the timer for 5 minutes set the BPM at 110. Just do muted up strokes on each string. Total time 30 minutes do it until you FEEL the difference 😘
Cool playing and really good tone. What are you playing through and what volume are your practices?
Thanks!
Periphery ❤
1:59 ¡Ah, wow!
This riff is similar to Caifanes althought a little bettered.
Very good.
awesome Sophie as beautiful as ever 💕🔥
Not sure if its legal in the U.K but i use weed cream(Marijuana) on my hands for contact dermatitis. It works wonders. Dont know maybe worth a shot? Great vids 🇨🇦
Muito Linda e Talentosa,😍
Had to look up what the heck economy picking is lol. Can personally say once I learned alternative picking better it helped my playing tremendously. Used to only downpick everything 😂
Is that the quilted violet finish? Looks amazing on camera
Playing literally any Mark Holcomb riff correctly is so impressive to me lmfao. He's such a chord master and I am just not at all.
Keepin' those fingers nimbal!
Hi Sophie I always enjoy hearing you play the guitar this is a very interesting video ❤
Woow nice and beautiful 👍👍👍❤️
You need to get some neoclassical pieces under your belt. I highly suggest Michael Romeo. Yingwie malmsteen.and to really move your technical ability forward Chopin Nicola Paganini Vivaldi. You will find all the technical craziness you want to learn in these pieces of music. Then graduate to bach . I always find it strange that people look for the hardest music. But never learn the hardest music when it's right there. bach Beethoven Chopin Nicola Paganini Mozart Vivaldi O yeah Shawn lane Jason Becker. Every lick every technique can be found in their music give it a go you'll love it.
Awesome lesson..and an Absolute gorgeous teacher ❤❤❤
Hey, drummer here, lovely, and super helpful insights to study and practice any instrument, thanks
....Sophie,

Rock n Roll....yes Mam
Great brain benders. Do you set delay to match metronome? If not, faster or slower than tempo?
❤❤❤❤

Sophie Burrell , Sophie Lloyd" and im just there with my guitar in hand like "but my love their licks are AMAZING!" and she says " what ever lick means your on the couch tonight" 😂 but awesome video ill be stealing some for mine !
❤❤❤
