I have always wondered why Gino Vanelli does not have 20 Grammies. It does not matter; we, the lucky ones, were able to enjoy his music. That is the main point, and yes, The River Must Flow, as beautiful as decades ago!🎉❤
I have always loved Gino's voice. I am so happy he can still really sing, unlike so many of my past heroes. Keep it coming, Mr. Vanelli.

I wondered where Brian McKnight came in on this record. I just heard Gino in an interview talk about Brian doing the background vocals. Great redo, more laid back. I just saw Gino for the first time, in Annapolis, MD. WOW!! I'm so glad it was one of the 10 cities he went to on this tour.
Gino and Brian need to do a tour together, now. The audience they can bring together would make a great audience to bring the styles together of two incredible diverse music artists. Or an album, first…
The more times I listen to this song, the more I love it! I find myself bobbing my head and swaying from side to side. It has such a great beat and vibe. Gino never disappoints.
As great as the original. Funny how being so different to the 1978 version they both have an unmistakable Gino sound, and interesting how on every new production he shows a permanent evolution, unlike tons of artists that at some point cannot get to a new land. Gino's care and constantly exercising of his voice still results in a very pleasant sound full of energy and emotion.

Was sitting here a day after the Gino Facebook Live Concert that couldn't happen due to technical issues but Gino took the time to chat with his fans . I was on RUclips listening to 1978 classic The River Must Flow when I scrolled and saw the Remix version with Brian McKnight. I normally dislike any deviation from the original classic, but as with all Gino songs the remix was incredible! Gino can take anything and make it sound fresh and important! I simply admire this incredible talent during my lifetime. Mozart would have loved Gino Vannelli.

I saw Brian McKnight for the first time last year on the David Sanborn Sessions. A sensational soul gospel singer. Look forward to his work on Gino’s new album.
I absolutely love this remake and the videography was stunning. I agree with Ben though, I wish we would’ve seen a little bit more of Brian actually singing with Gino.

Two of the greatest voices I have ever had the pleasure and privilege of being in the same room with ... just a few feet away. Gino’s a brutal teacher 😄😰 not for the faint of heart, but the vocal tidbits he gave me are invaluable and it is abundantly clear to me why and how he still masters his instrument. The control he has is ridiculous. C’mon. B*****d 😂 pisses me off. But damn, he’s still a God. Which also pisses me off! And Brian ... good grief. Absolutely brings it. Just the lyric reimagining is outrageously good. And don’t even start me on the instrumentation, the Rhodes. Whatever, Gino!! 😉 here’s why he has remained great ... he let his voice lead him to where he was going next and trusted it. A rare thing for singers as they get older. We resist! 😣 the only thing that could have possibly made this even the *slightest* bit more great is Joe. ❤️ 2022 ... “Love Me Now” redux, please. 😊
