Give it thermal / infrared, let it identify persons, in the night, entering your large yard and take care of them while they only hear the srrrr from the little drone. Also good for police, to identify person in their surroundings while trying to catch a suspect hiding behind a wall. Of course tracking and better recognition would be a very nice thing to add.
I'm guessing the video processing is being done on the phone itealf, which makes me wonder if the app could be used with other setups and do the same. I may give it a try. It would be nice to see the software given simple user modification capabilities. Maybe, for example, training it to recognize custom visual models. Maybe I want to use this to count cows in a field. Also, if they added simple coding capabilities, that could be beneficial. For example, if a sheep is identified in herd of cows, close all other detection boxes except sheep one, and buzz the phone to alert the user. Right there, with some simple modifications to software, this becomes a potential tool for use on a livestock farm.

Might end up getting one to take apart. Kind of amazing you can get away with a chip based gyro scope now to change the wing pitch rather than the old style ones that use two blades and a plastic flywheel on the main shaft for stabilization. I mean think about it. Most modern RC helli have a full hevey stepper motor to control the pitch but somehow this small thing has just enough so it doesn't run into a tree.

Hello and good evening ! One question: Can the ERA C127 AI Brushless be changed from Mode2 to Mode 1?? I would like to fly the helicopter with throttle on the right
AI suggests it can be trained to learn to recognize other objects. Or it it just pre-programmed to recognize some standard shapes, like the camera in a car can recognize speed signs, but not learn to interpret other signs?
I have a hard time justifying these, at $100+ CAD, over a budget quadcopter. Brushless quads with optical flow and a meh camera are $60/70. 4DRC even has a version of these helis in that price range, but this and Eachine are asking a bit much.
I’ve watched a lot of your videos over the last few years. I obviously clicked on this one for the “cool factor”. I did see the original one you did on the earlier version. I keep going back and forth on whether to buy a drone or not. I’m not a tech kinda guy. This will be my first drone. I’m basically looking for a drone that is somewhat quiet, has a decent camera (one you can direct when you’re flying, with good clarity). A good range (4-500 yards would be good). I’d like a decent fly time (I guess 15-20 min), and a return to home setting. And a spare battery, or at least the ability to purchase additional batteries. Under $250-300 would be great. Any suggestions?
After turning on the C127AI, and even if I bind it to the transmitter, I can not see the drone's WIFI access point listed among the various other access points in my area. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy J3 that is several years old. Also, should the drone show up in the detected list of available WIFI connections on a "Windows 7" (or even a "Windows XP") laptop) to aid in the diagnostics concerning this issue? Also, if I do solve the WIFI issue at some point, it would be helpful to know if there would ever be a reason to try or use an older version of the "Sentry AI" app on the (somewhat old) phone. Many Thanks in advance for any information, John
The wifi of the SPY HELI should show up when you tell your phone to search for local wifi. The only way it won’t show up is if your phone is a BUDGET phone and lacks the wifi at 802.11AC. Check your phone specs to see if it has the 802.11ac protocol.

I was wondering do you think this would be strong enough to handle putting a insta360 go 3 mounted to the bottom of it?
GO3 is rather small so it would work but I think the heli would struggle with lifting it fo a long time.

Any suggestions?
Have a look at the POTENSIC ATOM
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Sounds good. I saw you reviewed that one. Haven’t watched it yet. Will do when I get back in tonight. Thank you. 😁👍
How much noise compared to the dji mini 3 . Thanks Steve good review as always
The mini 3 would be 10 times as loud
I wouldn't install the app if I were you
Too late! Everything that flies in the air in the RC Hobby that has an App has a China connection.
there's a reason it's called a spy drone 😎
Lol use a burner phone bro...
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Ahah... Thank You so much. I am just starting my day, and it was so nice to see this. I have had about 3 sips of coffee, and I pulled up the 142 page manual, and found no mention of the word "specifications" or "WIFI".
It seems that "WI-FI" is the term that is used. - I found a document onlone that is not 100% guaranteed to be correct that states in a "Comms" section that the phone supports the following:
WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct
I plan to try the "direct WIFI" sub-menu, which I saw a few days ago in under the "Settings" features.
It appears that "I came to the right place", as some often say. :) Thank you once again. _John_
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I have purchased a used "Samsung Galaxy S4 Active" model phone, allegedly capable of communicating via the 802.11ac protocol.
I expect to receive it in a week or two.
Thank You again, and I commend you on your expertise in this matter.
If u measure Db, my guess is it is damaging to your hearing indoors.
Only if you live in a library 😉
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 over 75dB is damaging to humans
always enjoy your vids steve
Thank you
Fun video ! 😃
Cool copter
Great review ! 😎
Glad you enjoyed it
Way Points? I saw a video saying you can set way points with the app
Um Black hornet para pessoas comuns 😂
Good afternoon captain really cool drone nice review
Can you fly it fpv or is it just like every other wifi cam
Only use with cell phone or tablet
I've been wondering that pairs in a similar way as the echine e010 drone, and was wondering if the would work together???? If anyone knows please let me know
when you go to the link it says 720 instead of 1080 like you mentioned is that the first version? link becouse i don’t see a1080
Hilarious… 720 is the name of the drone
I don't know why people say iPhone are so good I don't know but I do know my screen never goes out because it's hot out lol
I'm honestly concerned about a cheap chinese product coming with AI identification - ngl this sounds very scary given the social credit system there that basically uses exactly this
No way 30 seconds after this video going out!
🏆
The link to buy the helicopter says its a 720p camera not 1080p
Yes, and when you buy the heli the specs on the box & manual say 1080p
I've been looking at this because of the military version . In all honesty is it worth it for very basic Recon within it's range?
If you are doing recon for the purpose of fun (paintball) then this is fine.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 we will leave it at paintball lol... I'm retired special forces..
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks for the quick reply as always.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I had hoped to catch people hunting on my land. I don't allow it. With that range it should work out
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Eventually as money permits I would like a drone with about a 1 to 2 kilometer range, GPS and only some other very small bells and whistles. I can patrol my entire property with something like that.
Does it have an fpv mode????
FPV options??
P that thing isn't spying on anybody, as loud as it is
GREAT VIDEOS man, the military version of this drone just how quit do you think that drone actually is??
