So gracious of you to share your adventures with us, having such a shallow draft houseboat definitely allows you to get up into a lot of nice places.

Does not seem to be a lot of traffic on your trips. The area is beautiful and your vlog are very peaceful.

There are some areas where the traffic picks up, usually around a popular marina or in places close to large cities. On this trip, once we locked down from Fort Loudoun, there was minimal traffic. Except for a Bass tournament on Hiwassee, we saw very pleasure boat travelers.
Thank you for the complement. I try to keep them peaceful and relaxing because that's what traveling on the river is all about.

Thanks, John. Not as much fishing as I thought we would do. We’re getting lazy, I recon.

A hearty "Thank You!" to you both for sharing such wonderful video content! I'm just over in Wilson County - your Cumberland River videos changed how I see our local river. I even picked up that Corps of Engineers' book you recommended - I love it. I canoe and explore the river from every little road I can access, but seeing it from your through-trip perspective is a game changer for me. I can't get over to the river today, so having this video to enjoy with my coffee made my day start off that much better! I know filming and editing is a chore, so I wanted to share a few rods making sure that you folks know how much better it makes my day. Thank you for the inspiration - you're doing life right, Sir! If you ever pass through Wilson County, send word and we'll figure out a guided tour of Fiddlers Grove at the Fairgrounds - it's be my honor to share our county's history with such great folks.

Hello Scott. Thank you so much for your comment; I really appreciate it! I have to say that the Cumberland River is one of my favorites. That section from Celina through Cordell Hull and down to where it broadens into Old Hickory is so peaceful and relaxing. From a river perspective, it feels so remote and isolated, and those fantastic bluffs! You're lucky to have that river in your backyard.
I'm thrilled that you find these videos worth watching. We didn't intend to put these on RUclips when we started, or I'd have done a better job at capturing things, especially the audio.
The Twin Rivers book is a real eye-opener as to how politics back then aren't much different from today...how in the world did we get things done! I never realized how much the Army Corps accomplished.
Fiddlers Grove sounds interesting. I think I've seen it along I-40 while traveling through. We definitely need to check that out.
      Thanks again!

I am located on Fort Loudon Lake. Really appreciate your adventure on the water. I am an adventurer myself. The drone footage and music are most excellent. Enjoy yourselves and be safe!

@@bobcathey8903 , thank you. We’re planning to head up to the Forks of the River soon. That’s the about the only section of the Tennessee we haven’t covered.
