i’ve had a pair of their joggers and full zip hoodie for well over a year and they’re still in great shape. i hang everything to dry snd these dry quickly. nordstrom has them and they now have some stand alone stores,
I have had my Vuori items for several years and they hold up really well. They are the only soft leggings that actually stay soft after washing them over and over again.
@@juliatokiohotelloverSame here! I have a pair of leggings I bought a year ago and bought a new pair a few weeks ago. The fabric quality is the same and the shape has not stretched out. Great investment!
OBSESSED with my Vuori Performance Joggers / Halo hoodie - I wear them to EVERY workout, whether it's low or high impact and they're just great for lunging. I have washed and dried them so many times and still feel brand deal. No dupes I've tried have come close!
I can say my boyfriend has a pair of the every day chino type pants and he loves them. He’s had them almost 3 years now and other than having to sew back on a button they are in great shape. He literally wears them as soon as they are clean.
Honestly, I love Kenzie’s rating when she discusses her opinion on the item being worth the price. It’s very relatable for me, personally. It is influencing my own thought process when deciding on purchasing a more $$$ item
Just a tidbit of info: an XXL and 2X are not the same size. An XXL is a scaled up straight size, while a 2X (no L) is a true plus size. Each have different measurements on purpose. Hope that helps!
So you’re right that XXL and 2X are different sizes and labeled thus for a reason, but as a fellow plus sized girl, it can be possible to fit into the largest straight sizes depending on the brand, and for that fit to actually be decent. And given that the leggings and jumpsuit seem to have fit her just fine, I think her point about the shorts running small is still valid - and Rachel only confirmed that since she’s said that she’s pretty consistently an XL in bottoms and she wouldn’t want to size down in these.
I believe Kensy is truly giving us the truthful review. She is considering $, accessibility, construction, fabric, fit, etc. I also enjoy more the video with only 2 people. I feel is more organized, relax, and fun. Great video as always. Happy Holidays 🎊 🎉
Sustainable fashion costs more for many reasons, paying for organic materials, paying livable wages does cost more money. As someone who really really tries to shop sustainably when possible, I know there is a good chance I will be spending more than something from fast fashion. I know it was briefly mentioned, but it's the same price as Lululemon which is not Carbon Neutral/climate neutral like vuori and less than alo which does not have extended sizing.
Please speak about the composition of the materials! Just read it from the labels. I am missing that in all if your try on videos. Just saying " soft" " itchy" " comfortable" is not enough.
The jacket price feels exorbitant to you because you’re used to fast fashion prices. If this company really is sustainable and pay their workers a fair wage then the price is not exorbitant at all, it’s fair. I know lots of people can’t afford anything that isn’t fast fashion, and it’s completely fine, my point is not about that. Just that $170 is really not that much for a jacket if it’s made in the best way, I’d say it’s pretty cheap
My husband found out about Vuori years ago, and I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment! I loved the quality material and shirts, but bras and bottoms were a no-go for me. As a size 12-14, their XL bras and bottoms were ridiculously small compared to other brands. I found Girlfriend Collective a couple years ago and haven’t looked back!
I have the leggings, I got them for Christmas two years ago, they have held up amazingly! The long line bra and leggings are my airplane outfit for every trip!
I’d love if you included the exact material composition, it’s just something I as a consumer consider a huge factor while buying? It’s just an idea, I understand if it’s too much work and I really love your videos already 😍
I lived in Finland for 6 years. The word Vuori means mountain in Finnish! 😊 also thank you for the review! Maybe I’ll buy their leggings instead of lululemon 🤔.
Would love to see Stephen and Mario review any brand, maybe even a comparison of men’s and women’s clothes. Not my idea just wanted to make another comment so hopefully you guys see it!
I will say, while their fabric for things like the shorts and their Halo joggers, are suuuuuper soft. It comes at a price, which is it will pill easily (which just happens as part of the nature of softer fabrics) and get holes quicker than you'd probably like for the price and sustainability perspective. Their "workout" leggings lose their spring back after 5-6 wears and no longer give you a little compression, causing them to fall and look droopy. There are some pieces at Vuori that I love and think they do really well, but I think they have a lot to work on to ensure pieces last a long time...and they could make bras that are meant for boobs bigger than an A cup.
I have two of their joggers in the dream knit fabric, love them. I also wash and dry them 1-3x a week have had them for 4 months and they still look brand new
Oooh! I really want to see what you have to say about shopping the store in-person if you want to film it! I'd like to know if their quality is consistent, and if Sierra has better luck finding her sizes in stock!
I have several vuori pieces from when my husband worked in a store where he could get them at a discount and they hold up so well! I love all my pieces.
Oh girlies you HAVE TO try oner active! It is so affordable for the amazing quality, it is women owned and designed from women to women and honestly my fave active wear brand
My husband bought himself a pair of their joggers (we used our REI dividend which was great). He loved them so much (he’s had them for almost three years now and they are still just as great as day one). Ever since then it’s been a thing for me to get him a new piece for Christmas. The men’s t-shirts are his go to. He wears them hiking, they look nice enough for work, and he runs in them. He also had one of their light weight jackets and it’s amazing. We are Vuori stands at this point. My tips are this. We like using our REI membership because then we get dividend back on them, and look out for their Black Friday sale. They do a pretty decent one.
And one last thing. They are carbon neutral practice safe labor practices and a whole host of other great things for both people and the planet. Therefore you pay a higher price. I know others have said it but it is important to acknowledge how much most people are use to fast fashion prices which vuori is not.
This should have been Rachel and Kenzie, since Sierra does not fit in these clothes. It should have been obvious from the measurements, but also Sierra KNOWS there is a difference between XXL in straight sizes and 2X in plus sizing.
I love how Kenzie is so brutally honest with comparing price into her reviews, makes it very relatable! Love all the girls though and this new channel. Where has Ryan & Poloma been?
If you missed the update during the end of the Podcast; Riyan is focusing on her channel more, and think she's more behind the scenes (cuz she's in LA) and Paloma is getting more into acting and more musical shows so she's stepped back from this channel as well.
Love the brutally honest review series, and I'm curious to see how the leggings hold up for you! I've owned a pair of Vuori joggers for about 3 years now, and they are intensely comfortable. They did pill on the thighs almost instantly, though, even though I only use them for lounging and have never put them in the dryer. I'm also tall with a booty and thighs, and I had to size up plus get the long version of the joggers for them to not look like too-short leggings. Beyond Yoga leggings are similar in price and feel but have held up much, much better for me.
No shade at all…but in the jumpsuit and cardigan you girls are giving nurses at a fancy spa doctors office. It looks like upscale scrubs…but I think only because you were matching.😂
Love this... If you are ever looking for an idea for a video- what if you try clothing hacks. Like wearing a button up shirt backwards, or underwear as a one shoulder crop. I would love to see of this works on all different body types.
I LIVE in those Vuori’s ribbed tees. I usually would never spend that type of money on a basic tee but I actually just got it in two more colors because like Kenzie said… I work out in it, I lounge in it, and go out in it
The leggings look so much like the zella live in high waist leggings from Nordstrom. I am DYING to know how they compare. Video idea since its the season for it: leggings comparision please!!! Vuori vs lulu vs zella
I would buy this brand second hand, but I'm a similar size to Sierra and I don't like supporting companies that aren't more size inclusive. Your enthusiasm definitely has me checking Poshmark and Mercari!
Love you guys! Thank you so much for speaking about outrageous prices. So many influencers spend an exorbitant about of money on clothes which isn’t accessible in our economy. Thank you for being relatable
My ex had a few Vuori pieces and they are by far some of the most comfortable and high quality feeling clothes I've ever felt for its price point. I loved stealing his vuori sweatpants lol
I’ve worn the performance joggers multiple times a week for over 2 years. wash them at least once a week. no pilling. still in great condition. My only issue is lighter colors show every lump & bump. You definitely get what you pay for with them.
So sierra really wanted to get some new running clothes and made a video out of it lol. No I love it, I've always heard good (*sponsored*) things about this brand, so happy to hear it non-sponsored. I think once I'm done with pregnancy I will get a piece or two myself!
Lol, watching this wearing Vuori joggers - actually surprised you guys didn't review those, I feel like that's kind of their signature item. I like Vuori, but still prefer Lululemon tbh (I don't think the Vuori jackets beat the scubas Lulu running jackets). Vuori stuff seems to all be a bit too on the athleisure side, and I like it as loungewear but wouldn't work out in it. The material also does not stay as soft over time as when it's new, but that's normal for any brand.
I would love if you guy mentioned the materials when reviewing clothes. I definitely pay more when something is made of natural and higher quality materials versus polyester or acrilic. I think it would add more to these reviews 😊
