Very interesting to see how vastly different the rompers and the tops fits. Just shows once again how diverse our bodies are and how clothes are for bodies and not the other way round. So happy you found some things you liked!! The price tag is certainly something.
Having made a few pairs of shorts/trousers, that gathering at the crotch tends to happen when the pattern has been made bigger side-to-side, but the curve of the crotch seam hasn't been made deeper to make it bigger front-to-back. Definitely not an problem exclusive to this brand, but something to look out for when deciding if a brand has really gone to the effort of proper sizing up for their plus size customers!
I would have liked for the video to be a bit longer and see you guys actually put the running products to the test. Great content as always though, love you guys :D
Love. Wish we could have seen Jess try on Sierra’s romper - maybe sizing up might have helped with how if feels. It’s hard when items are sized L/XL because sizing up or down seems like such a drastic difference sometimes.
Also, I love the fact that Jess and Jadyn were wearing same sizes in some pieces and look totally different, that’s truly a testament that all bodies are different, beautiful and worth to be celebrated! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
So cool that you are training for a 5km. I did the couch to 5K to train for a night run I signed up for coming up in September. It totally worked for me although I could never finish 5km in the 30 minutes it trains you for. I can however run 5km without stopping so it really did work for me although it's usually 38 to 44 minutes depending on where I am running and how I am feeling. I have some time to improve on my speed. I've always wanted to try popflex but was really concerned about hip dips so it is so refreshing to see someone with my body type not "posing" to hide them and showing what they really look like. Thank you for always being so transparent in your reviews.

I'm honestly disappointed that you didn't give them a use test too. Trying something on vs using them as workout gear/washability etc is often very different. I know you mentioned a couple of those things, but for a true brutally honest review, perhaps you could think about that for next time?
I feel like you and others (understandably) may not understand that exercise is a very deep and personal thing to people. you dont particularly know each of their relationships with exercise is, and how doing a video of it could affect them.

I love this series!! And Popflex is literally my favorite active-wear brand to buy from. Sierra- I am a size 2x as well and I agree with you, the waist band was actually so big on me, I actually sewed down the sides so that it fits better and doesn’t fall when I workout. ALSO, if you love the twirl skirt, girl! You would love the hiking super skort. It’s my favorite thing I’ve bought from Popflex and it fits amazing ✨

I've bought a few things from popflex and the size has been weird sometimes, but all the stuff has gotten has been extremely high quality. My absolute favorite thing from popflex is actually the go with the flow jumpsuit. Super cute and flattering and the most comfortable jumpsuit I've ever worn. I have both the long sleeve and the regular one. Very tempted to get another one.
I’m a little disappointed that you guys didn’t do any wear tests for the clothes, especially the active wear, would of loved to of known your thoughts after actually working out/running in the clothes. I’ve been a long time follower of pop flex but live internationally so I’ve not placed an order due to be unsure how I’ll like the items.
Hey :) I bought the pirouette skirt like 2 years ago and I agree with everything that they said in the video and love it! BUT even though I love wearing it I mostly do at home or for going to the groceries rather than an actual workout because for me personal the fabric is just too thick and I think it’s just too warm for working out in. And it is pretty short which meant a lot of people talked to me about it because they were afraid I’d flash their kids, even with the shorts underneath 🤷♀️

Size inclusivity is clearly not a true priority for the brand, it visibly fell short on multiple items what they looked like on someone who looks like Cassie vs not. That jumpsuit and layered shorts were especially heinous - the bunching was indeed that bad, I would not leave the house in if.
As a plus size person I just feel like the same fits/cuts that looks good on a small or medium just can’t be made 2x or 3x and look the same/just as good. I think designs almost literally have to be cut differently / redesigned for plus size to look as good as it could be
The Pirouette Skort is my GO-TO for teaching my dance and Zumba® classes. I also wore it at WDW this summer and felt like a princess. My favorite POPFLEX piece to pair with it is the Sweat Sesh Crop Top - the tank top version. I'm not a fan of the baby tee version; it felt too bulky for me. I also LOOOOOOVE the Superbra
The cloud hoodies are my FAAAAAAVVVVEEE even with the $70 price tag. I would just recommend sizing down if you want the cropped look because they are ROOMY! I’m a 2X and get a L/XL

I really wish companies would consult with pattern drafters who know how to draft for plus size bodies, who take into account how they are shaped differently and can take into consideration the variations in how plus sized bodies are shaped (e.g. someone may be wide but not have much of a tummy that sticks out and someone else may not be wide but does have a protruding stomach: they could easily be the same “circumference” (the measurement on the size chart) but garments will lay differently on them.)
So nice to see someone modeling a curvy M/L. I get not wearing skirts but it fit great. Personally I don’t like cap sleeves. And I’d def wear it with a bra.
The arms up/ride up thing with the romper is tricky, because I think to prevent that, the armscye (hole the sleeve is sewn into) would have to come up high under the arm which is uncomfortable in a different way.

Yeah it makes sense that the fit is so different on the romper if the inseam/curve is not sized up properly between these different sizes.
