As a Michigander living in Montana, the puffer vest has been part of my cold weather wardrobe forever. I am not a fan of the cropped variation that’s trending right now though. I think a regular length black down puffer vest is versatile, functional and stylish.

The puffer vest looks good on you, Sierra! But it’s too short. I feel like puffer vests are cuter a bit oversized/longer, regardless of standard vs. plus-sized
To be fair, the challenge was specifically to style a cropped puffer vest. That’s the trend people said they hated.

I was homeschooled growing up, so the long denim skirts are an absolute no for me thanks to so many years of desperately trying not to look like I belonged in the cultish side of homeschoolers 😅

I still struggle with wearing mid-length skirts of any kind. The two mid-length skirts I have and tolerate have thigh slits in them, and that’s their saving grace 😅
Hi girls, I’m very curious and also I’m Italian so I just want to know why is homeschooling so popular in the us? I really don’t want to be rude or intrude but I’m really curious. In Italy we have scuola dell’obbligo from 6 yo to 16 yo and if a child doesn’t go to school or isn’t enrolled child protection services and the police shows up to your house to actually get you to school. I don’t think homeschooling exist actually.

@@Celesbrina You kinda answered your own question there. It's not illegal, so more people do it. Why it's not illegal in the states is probably more of a reflection on the highly self sufficient culture historically here. Way less tolerance for perceived government overreach.
As a Wisconsin girlie I was CRUSHED when they said a puffer vest was not a vibe. 😂😂 I wear it allll the time! And then when Sierra put her outfit together and was getting the vibe I was delighted!! A go to outfit! 😂 that’s me dressing up in winter 😂

Sierra, you killed the puffer vest look. As a vest wearer and lover, I found myself talking to myself saying "that's it!" when you put on the leggings. You looked great!
Totally get not wanting to purchase an excessive amount of unnecessary clothing but would have loved to see all you ladies tackle each one of these since your guys' styles are all different!
I think the key to puffer vests is to find a casualish, simple outfit that works without the vest and then add the vest on top as an accessory

Best collective video yet! Sound quality and image seems like a major upgrade! Jordan did a great job speaking to the group and still making eye contact with the camera when needed.
My main problem with long denim skirts is that they're really uncomfortable! A long flowy skirt is comfy and doesn't hinder movement - long denim skirts are constricting (even with a slit) and heavy.
The long denim skirts have a lot of bad memories from the 90s and negative religious connotations for a lot of us.
I didn't even think about this. I always saw it is from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Willow wore them. So to me they have witchy vibes. Complete opposite.

As a plus size person, I was so excited when cropped puffer vests started to come back because the long ones never zipped comfortably over my hips without the top eating my head. I think just for my body's proportions, I'll be wearing cropped vests forever.
Seeing the shopping montage, I felt like you all just look like a group of trendy girlies!!!! Not all trends are for everybody but each of you rock each outfit!!!! Loved the Jadyn and Sierra twinned with the quarter zip. It just feels right!

The puffer vest - you need a snug/fitted, textured, contrasting top. Like a snug ribbed bright blue or something.
Sierra and Rachel's are my favorite outfits of this video. The singlet looks so cute with Rachel's bump!
the last 3 trends (onesie with puffer vest and uggs) could really be styled together and be a really cute but comfy and casual outfit. these colours and the overall vibe definitely have the cosy feel of autumn.

As an east coast girl, I love a puffer. The ones I go for though are slimmer because I want the look without the bulk. And I am guilty of wearing them over flannels for sure! But everyone looks great, even if I wouldn't wear those particular items myself.

As a new englander it cracks me up that you guys talk about puffer vests as "trendy" lol everyone I know here wears them all the time not for the look but because they're really useful. We don't wear cropped ones though because that would defeat the point hahaha r

Jaydn's outfit was my favorite, and could absolutely tell that she felt cute in it! I bought those UGGs for my granddaughters who are 9 and 5.

I also got a body suit when I was pregnant from a family friend who wore them all the time when she was pregnant. I honestly never thought I’d wear it, but when I ran out of clean pregnancy pants, tried it, and it was so freaking nice. Now if I ever don’t have an idea for an outfit I just throw it on with some kind of cardigan or sweater.

Straight, long denim skirts remind me of the Duggars, so that's a no for me. I can't see me wearing any of them, actually. The Uggs remind me of the people around here who wear pajamas and slippers to Walmart. I'd wear them at home though. I've had a singlet before and bathroom issues made me go, nope. Creeped me out to have it accidently touch the floor of a public bathroom. Plus, I got cold. And finally, the puffer vest. I have to have sleeves! I get cold here in the northeast. I got one for xmas last year: put it on, took it right off. It's not for me. (I never told the gift giver I don't wear it.) So, no you didn't change my mind! But it was fun to watch!

I love this! Except what I hate about trends is that you have to buy something slightly different to be “trendy” leggings and a black tank top work for the unitard, regular uggs under pants, most people have a puffer or vest but the long denim skirt would be something new so I think the idea of having to buy something else that we basically already have is also part of why we hate it!
So the lesson here is that Docs go with everything 😂🖤💛 I own so many different style of docs, from the boots, the Mary janes, the school shoes, the sandals! I just love them so much.

I hate to say it but i will in fact weep when the puffer vest dies out...i own 3 of them and every time i see one i'm tempted to buy another!! I honestly think the ratio of bulky puffer vest to maybe fitted long sleeve undershirt thats a little cropped with wide leg jeans, and then a good chunky shoe (the uggs, for example) realllly pulls together the look!! I absolutely love them and i really hope they stick around 🤭🤭🤭
